I very much enjoyed the slop shop. My pancake was incredibly fluffy. They have a flap jack drizzle which made the pancake extra tasty. It tasted kind of like a caramel brown sugar topping. You should absolutely try a little and see what you think. Another thing that was awesome. Is they serve spam as a side meat option. In addition to bacon and sausage. I absolutely would go back. The one thing they need to work on is consistency. The person I was with got sausage that was extremely dry and majorly overcooked. But the table next to us their sausage look completely different. read more

This is a great newer place in the area! The breakfast is great and the portion sizes are worth your money!! They have a huge array of hot sauces to choose from to spice up or flavor your meal to your liking. The wait staff seated two of us very quickly and the food was not super long after ordered. The Slop Shop went from a 'let's try this place', to a weekly visit for us. Myles had a food truck (same name) and took a chance on a brick and mortar. We're mighty glad he did. The portions are large enough that we take home almost as much as we eat while we're there. Try the pancake, amazing - Or the SOS with chunks of hamburger, so filling (my favorite) - Or the Onion Burger where they dice the onions and mix it in the burger (add a green chili) - or a Chili Size (smothered in Chili Verde is my choice). I can't speak to the ambiance because my husband just brought home takeout from here but damn it was good. I love this style of hash browns and the carne asada in the burrito was yummy. He also got me SOS and scrambled eggs and it was all just so good! I'm looking forward to trying this place more fully to experience the service as well. read more

We stopped in on a Sunday morning and there were a few people already here. This has tall ceilings which possibly made this place really cold. I ordered the shop breakfast, and it was just OK. The food was not very hot. This could've possibly been because the location inside is cold. The sausage patties just tasted like frozen patties you get from a box, that were cooked in the microwave. The hashbrowns were fairly good, but they were cold as well. You can't really mess up scrambled eggs so they were fine. My partner got the pancake and she thought it was OK, it's more of the thin type not the fluffy kind. They do have a good amount of hot sauces to try, which is nice. Everything here is disposable, the cups, utensils, and plates. So I imagine they have a lot of waste. This is one of those places we can't decide if we would come back and try it again. A breakfast joint you don't want to miss out on. Holy cow that was an amazing and filling meal. Service was amazing, coffee was great and the food came out of the kitchen shortly after ordering. The owner used to have a food truck but decided to open a restaurant and he didn't spare any expenses in making the ambience of this place come to life. I had the breakfast fries recommended by our server (she was absolute best... forgot her name, but she's having a baby this winter). She nailed it. This is not for the faint of heart. Fries smothered in cheese, and gravy, topped w two eggs and a giant portion of thick cut bacon. We took half of it home because it was so much.... And I can eat lol. My mom and dad split an order of French toast, that also included a huge portion of hash-browns, two eggs, and bacon. They have a house drizzle sauce that is out of this world. Tasted so good on the French toast. Hash browns were crispy and golden brown. Everything came out in good time and it was hot and fresh. They had two servers and cooks running the whole place. There was a good amount of traffic and they handled it like pros. My dad can be a bit high maintenance (always wants someting like a refill, napkins, anything lol ), and our server made us feel like we were the only table that mattered. When we went to leave the cooks waved bye(love the open view concept to the galley), and you felt like you were leaving a friends' house. Stopped in for breakfast around 9am on a Sunday and it was already busy, mostly with a line for take-out. We were promptly seated in the spacious, open-concept restaurant. We were able to watch the cooks prepare food, which was cool. The sweet waitress, Taegan, greeted us with a warm smile and served us with kindness and efficiency all the way through. Food was timely and served hot. It was very "homestyle" cooking and delicious. This is a "nothing fancy" experience. The food is served on paper plates with plastic forks. Very simple. Loved it! Price points are reasonable and portion sizes are big! Hubs loved his French toast, I loved the hash browns, and my granddaughter's eyes about popped out of her head when her big pancake arrived. She said it was delicious. The owner, Milo, was hands-on as well. The nicest guy. We also met one of his cooks, Niko. Everyone was so warm and friendly.
