One time I bought a round of tequila shots for a group of friends and regretted it almost immediately because I was worried about the cost, but when I got the check, it didn't do much damage at all to my wallet! She neglected us and didn't check in on us while we waited or keep us updated on the delay for our food. No explanation like down a cook or anything, just an awkward comment while we waited for 4 other meals that came out one by one. When it came time to pay she stared us down. There were a couple people at the bar and maybe 1-2 tables while we were there (not busy). We were there approximately 2 hours due to how long the food took, which I can see being the kitchen issue she referred to, but a little bit of personality, attentiveness, and keeping us informed on the delay would have saved this visit. The long wait for the food would have been a non-issue had it been better explained rather than "you're lucky you'll get food".

We sat at a regular table, but they also had high top tables and bar stool seating. We sat within the main bar area, but could have also sat in the part of the room that used to be the "restaurant" side but is now all part of the same dining area. They have a karaoke area in the corner near our table, but it was not active while we were there. Our waitress came right over and took our drink order. She was very efficient and friendly. I ordered the chicken wings with Pete's dry rub and blue cheese dipping sauce. It came with some carrot sticks on the side. My husband ordered the Cubano Sandwich with tater tots. Our dining companions ordered the Grilled Ham and Cheese and the Cheesesteak Sandwich both with tater tots. Everyone really liked their meals. My chicken wings were very tasty. They were cooked well and had just the right amount of crisp. There was a mix of drums and flats in the 12 piece order. I would definitely recommend these and order them again.

One for my family and one for my brother. Then when I asked why the bill was higher then expected she said theirs an automatic gratuity added and she can't do anything about it because we are a large party. So she got an automatic 20% tip and didnt inform me without asking. Working in restaurant industries in my early days I was taught it's the law to notify the table. When we left I asked my brother why he paid $10 in cash and not all on card. He said he gave that as a tip. I said on top of the gratuity. He said he didn't know their was one. He went back in and said I tipped you on a gratuity why didn't you tell me. She said I told the other guy didn't you hear. He said I paid first how would have I heard when you were across the table. She gave him his cash back. By far the worse experience I have ever encountered in a restaurant. Let alone its average meal was $18 dollars.

The bar seats were all taken so we found a table in the back area behind the plant night group near the pool tables which were free play. We had to go to the bar to get our first round of drinks. I stood at the counter awhile without service when the senior bar tender stood nearby and wouldn't look my way. Finally, the other bar tender who was very busy acknowledged me and gave me our drinks. It appeared that the senior bar tender thought we were with the plant group activity and didn't choose to wait on us. After some time passed and we played a few rounds of pool, the senior bar tender came over to our table and filled another round for us. He seemed more friendly and approachable at this point. They looked like they also had karaoke and paint class as activities and other theme nights. My only downside comment is that we did not have any food, but we experienced a rather terrible smell of old fryer grease penetrating through the entire bar. The food appeared to be prepared behind the bar with a counter top fryer. That smell did not encourage us to eat and we were glad to get some fresh air upon leaving. I would certainly return again for the fun but hope the smell would improve upon my return.
