Such a fun place to hit after tubing at Barefoot tubing in Morgan. We sat outside to warm up in the sun, grabbed a tasty garlic burger and wings. I have loved this bar since moving to Utah a yr. ago....however; today disappointed me. The bartender was beyond rude, and served us the most watered down tequila shots Ive ever had in my entire life. As someone who has bartended in my past life, I can 100% tell you that this bottle of tequila was absolutely watered down. Beside that fact the fact we paid $10 for watered down Jose Cuervo shots, we also had to deal with a face tatted liberal screaming at the walls (talking to himself), "fuck trump" over and over and over....to the point that customers were closing their tabs and leaving. WTH is happening....I hope someone with some sense, who is running things there, will make some immediate changes. read more

This is our second time here and the burger was excellent again !! But as another reviewer stated, the lady working the bar/server is not friendly at all, which we can attest to twice now. This trip we decided to try eating in the bar and to spark up some conversation, but that got cut short before we were even seated. No customary hello. Only short words, no eye contact, like we were bothering her. I asked about the history of the place and if it had anything to do with the military (being a combat veteran) and since it's called "The Post" and had a few veteran signs up, and she looked at me like I was an idiot and mumbled no under her breath. We later asked about drinks and she had no interest at all, only asking what we want and not interested in any of my wife's questions. So we stopped trying and she just sat their and watched the tv in front of us the whole time, walking in back occasionally and laughing really loud and then walking back out. We were the only ones there and it was one of the most awkward experiences we have ever had. So in summary, you'll get great food with "Awkward" or NO SERVICE. My husband loves this place. We have been visiting here for many years and have seen the ownership rotate 3-4 times. The current owner used to work for the previous owners and when they sold out, she took over. They host events for bikers as well bands and karaoke. They have a Megatouch bar top game that I really like to play that keeps me coming back. They also have one pool table that we've used if it's not too crowded in the bar. There is bar in the back of the building and a cafe up front. I haven't seen the cafe in operation when I've stopped in so I'm not sure if that is still operational or not. Kids may not be able to eat here if the bar is the only venue. The staff will remember you if you visit regularly. The current owner still recognizes us after all these years even though we aren't there every day. They do a good job of keeping you in drinks even when they are busy. I've tried many of their menu items and really haven't found a favorite thing that I like. My husband loves the pizza. I recenly tried the mushroom burger with swiss cheese. It was ok, but would have been even better if the mushrooms had been fresh rather than canned. The fry sauce has a bit of horseradish in it, if you like that sort of thing. It wasn't too over the top however, so I was happy to add it to my fries. read more

Great little country bar. Fun place to go and enjoy a drink. The food is very good for bar food. They do make a good pizza.

I have been going to The Post for years. It is a great place to grab an adult beverage or a bite to eat. The location is perfect when you are out cruising Weber Canyon on your motorcycle or just taking in the scenery in the jalopy. Service is always quick and friendly, I have seen them handle 50+ bikers and still keep the regular crowd well taken care of. Food takes a bit of time but it is cooked fresh to order. I typically have pizza but their burgers and other menu items are very good also. read more

Just tried coming here after a hot day up at causey and a lady came out when we were on our way in and told us they had turned off the pizza oven and already called last call. They didn't close for 30+ minutes. We have 9 people probably lost out on 2-3 hundred dollars in service. Lady wasn't very nice either. Probably will never come back. read more

Horrible service. The bartender had her head in her butt the whole time. Terribly backed up bar and she didn't even know what to make and was alike I think this will be like champagne. She was distributing food and trying to battens and didn't know how to manage a busy situation. The owner was a cluster and it was so busy they didn't know what to do. This place is great if you're looking for a quick bite. The food is actually really awesome for "bar food". They make their sauces homemade as well as patty their own burgers and food is made fresh when ordered. The pizza is really good but my favorite are the burgers. read more

Just a basic diner with a limited menu, but definitely one of the best burgers + fries I've had in a long time! I live in Morgan County and I've heard for some time to try the burgers & fries at The Post, which is the local watering hole. But there is a small diner in front that is family friendly, and separate from the bar. We went in a Friday night and didn't have to wait to get a seat. The food is all cooked fresh...burgers, pizza, wings, sandwiches, tots, onion rings, etc I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with handcut fries. The burger was thick and juicy but not greasy. A good bun and plenty of veggies on the side. They bring four sauces out in a bucket (ketchup, mustard, mayo and fry sauce). The fries were fantastic. Friendly service, a little on the slow side, but that's because it's all cooked fresh. Ill definitely return to The Post diner. read more

This place is actually a yummy little place that has delicious wings, burgers and pizza. You can sit in the bar or if you have kids they have a restaurant part. It's definitely worth the stop. Combination pizza is a different take but so yummy!!! Wings are amazing! read more

Rolled up wanting a simple burger and beer after rafting the Weber with 15-20 others...only to be greeted by a class-act middle aged woman (we assumed was an employee of this company) smoking a cigarette on the porch screaming at us about our inappropriate "attire" and how we weren't welcome here in this "family establishment".....cover ups and board shorts are, apparently inappropriate....in a ghost town, where i assume their only business, outside of the locals would come from the rafting companies and maybe truckers. Apparently this joint in Morgan, UT is doing so well for themselves that they "don't need you rafters at our restaurant." Don't bother. There's a gas station down the road with corn dog. read more

We hit The Post after a long day of boating. We were a bit hesitant when we pulled up and we were the only ones in the parking lot... the cafe was dimly lit and completely vacant vacant. It seemed as if they were unpacking the latest shipment of drinks, buns, and supplies. However, the waitress met us promptly, she was very kind and gave us an awesome recommendation. Our food was quickly delivered and, to our surprise, was beyond expectation. My wife and I were very satisfied and plan to stop back in next time we are in the area. We would recommend to anyone in need of a great burger. read more

The Post has the absolute best burgers. The Morgan valley burger is my husband's favorite and I can't get enough of the mushroom Swiss. The pizza is great too. Have not tad anything I did not like odd the menu. Best if all the beer s ice cold and always refreshing. Definitely going back and would recommend anyone to stop by on your way through town for a beer and a burger. read more
