    Peacocks on property.

A staff member at another place recommended we check Taggart's Grill out while we were in the area. So we stopped in for a snack/dessert and drink. The place is really charming and appeared to be a local favorite! The peacocks on the property did a great job of posing for pictures with their feathers on full display! Their chicken mushroom artichoke soup was delicious! And their dessert cases were too beautiful to resist! Their cheesecake and coconut macarons were so good! We will definitely add this to our list of places to try again when we're there! Great job everyone!

This is a hidden secret around here! They have the most fantastic steak and potatoes au grautin'! The ambulance is really nice in this old historical and local restaurant!

Let me start off by saying 10 out of 10. We went here to eat with our little one and it was a great experience. The food was amazingly delicious. We tried the following: 1. Beer battered mushrooms: to DIE for. My mouth is watering still just thinking about these. It was SO crunchy and so, so delicious. It is a definite must have if you are here. 2. Steak & Eggs: steak was cooked perfectly, loved the potatoes, eggs and toast. Just your classic good ol' fashioned meal here. 3. Chicken and Waffles Benedict: this was super delicious. We went here on a Sunday for Sunday Brunch and it was a bit crowded. The wait was only 15-20 minutes so it wasn't as bad during the time I went (12pm/noon). There isn't a lot of parking so you will need to come early or you'll have to wait. The desserts here are also great. I love all of the cheesecakes. A lot of people bought the cookies so I'm sure those get sold out quick too. Bonus: you can see peacocks outside roaming around. Do note though, it is rattlesnake area so be careful where you walk around the outside of the restaurant. If you are active military, they do offer 10% discount off of your meal.

Taggart's Grill is a true hidden gem in Northern Utah. So hidden, many people we've introduced to it say "we never knew this was here!" My husband and I and a friend took our motorcycles out for a spin last Sunday and Taggart's was the destination. We arrived at around noon, and true to form, it was busy, but we got seated in less than 10-15 minutes. The host will offer to text you if that's how you prefer to be notified your table is ready, but we're old school, so we opted for a holler. Server Tenley was friendly and efficient (she's waited on us before), and the kitchen staff split my husband's and my lunch entree without a problem. We ordered the mushroom swiss burger and the mushrooms were sauteed to perfection and the french fries were nice and crispy. I particularly liked that the burger was served on a brioche bun instead of a plain jane white bun. They also do a great job with spinach enchiladas and eggs benedict. I've never tried their desserts, but they look amazing (the bakery case is right where you walk in). Probably for the best; I have a terrible sweet tooth! If you're ever traveling on I-84 near Morgan Utah, look for exit #108 and get ready to enjoy a tasty meal in a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere.

Beautiful ambience. A setting up against the mountain cliff line right off the interstate. Parking is very limited in this place is always busy, so come early or come knowing there's a wait. They do not take reservations, but you can call 30 minutes ahead. There is a restriction with the call-in, if you don't report him within 30 minutes of your Appointed time you lose your spot. Food and service here is always great. I have tried numerous items on the menu and have never been disappointed.

I was recommended to this restaurant by a local rafting company this past summer. Great food, excellent service and unbeatable ambiance! I love the pastries on the way out for later.

This place definitely lived up to the hype! Great food, lovely staff and fast service. I love how the cheesecake and other desserts are on display when you walk in. Who needs an entree anyway?!

The food is always good when we come. We tried the brunch hours, walked right in to be seated no wait. We ordered mimosas and our server offered an almost bottomless option to be more cost effective, they were great. We had the Taggert's Benny, and the chicken and waffles benny, both were very well prepared. We were sat on the patio and had views of the peacocks peeking in at us, it was a nice touch! We will return!

Taggart's Grill is off the beaten path and WELL worth the drive. This delightful restaurant is tucked in the canyon and a perfect place for a summer patio meal. The food is excellent and service is great. The Cobb Sandwich is excellent - highly recommend. Very flavorful and love the house made pita. The chicken enchilada was delicious. The homemade salsa was tasty. The carrot cake wasn't my favorite - a bit too sweet for me. Next time, will choose one of their other many baked options! Will definitely be back!!

Our first time here and it was highly recommended from some locals. The wait was worth it. Food is great and a great place and we could see the peacocks through the window. We had to take our desserts to go because the portions are big. Seems like a lot of people who are enjoying the river activities enjoy the location and convenience of this place too.

Perfect post float meal. The food is delicious and the deserts are even better! I love how friendly everyone was. Our service was okay. The server was fast but it just felt like he didn't want us as a table which is fine but I felt like asking for anything was an inconvenience. Overall a 8/10 experience. I would definitely return.

Carrot cake. Has nuts but we still loved it!

10/10 experience today! When I do return, it'll be because of Chris the server. Absolutely phenomenal attitude and effort by a server!

Best carrot cake ever. Pita bread served with meals or as a burger bun. Really good. Great atmosphere. Be sure to check out the peacocks.

Great food in a beautiful place. Would eat here again if I'm passing by. We took a couple cheesecakes to go and they were delicious.

Perfectly seasoned, bold flavor, and seriously satisfying. The sides and soups deserve just as much hype -- they're amazing and clearly made with care. You can really tell that everything is made in-house, and that attention to detail shows in every bite. If you're even thinking about stopping by, do it. Hidden Peak Provisions is a must. Also, I DM'd them to get an idea of what's in the spicy beef. Here you go: Spicy beef. house roasted roast beef, Capicola, american cheese, burrata, house made giardiniera, house made hot sauce, house made aioli, house made chili spread, (that makes the sauce). chopped romaine, toasted hoagie. (lots of things made in house m, but thats what we do!!).
