Honestly, for all the hype I had heard about this place I was left a bit less than unimpressed. Had…read morethe Single's Breakfast which includes one egg cooked any way you'd like, a choice of ham/bacon/or sausage, kettle chips or Cajun Home Fries (which are basically just fried potato skins), and a scone or toast. The breakfast came with three sausage links but they tasted really strange. Definitely not like normal. The Cajun Home Fries had an off-putting taste as well and no amount of ketchup or fry sauce was going to help them. The scone and the egg were probably the only decent things in the entire meal but neither one stood out above average. Overall I would not recommend this place very highly nor do I plan on returning. After eating here I'm thinking breakfast will be off limits for quite a while due to the unappetizing taste leftover in my mouth.

When we entered the building we were immediately drawn in by all the flowers and the bright space. Every wall was covered in flowers, neon lights, and gorgeous lighting. It is adorable!! The woman who took our order was super sweet and our food came out quickly. I've seen their "over the top" shakes on Instagram for years so that was a MUST. We also ordered a panini and several crepes. Everything was delicious, super "Grammable," and beautiful. I may need to make a special trip back to Ogden just to come here!!

The flavor was mild, the perfect amount of cheese and the pesto was the right amount and there was plenty of moist chicken chunks. All the ingredients were inside the waffle, this did surprise me but it was a good size waffle. This is a yeast waffle and the texture is nice, not heavy. There is a red pepper tomato soup on the menu so I will have to try that the next time because it would've been perfect with this type of waffle. However, I was pleased. You will definitely have to try this place out.

Like us maybe you are driving west on the freeway at Morgan Utah looking for a place to eat. The Smokin' Boxcar is an excellent choice for real home cooked food. We were greeted and taken to our table by the owner. We had the lunch plates of burnt ends and ribs with sides of coleslaw and potato salad adding baking powder biscuits. The meat was of generous portions and very tender and tasty. Their sauce is excellent. Our waitress was attentive and fun. They serve breakfast-lunch and dinner. The price was very fair! Beautiful photos of older trains line the walls. read more

Beer battered fries were good. The creamy chicken artichoke soup - no. Taking high vinegar canned artichokes and putting that into a dairy-based soup is not a good idea. The flavor had that "I'm starting to curdle" impact. It would be way better if they they took frozen artichoke hearts and added that so the cream, chicken, and earthiness of artichoke came together properly.

The woman running the counter says, "we don't do modifications, she can pick it off herself. We don't do special treatment." This is the same woman who told us that something so simple would be alright. Incredibly poor service, awful customer relations, and I had to throw my burger away after all of it.
