The food here was really good. I got the NY strip and eggs with hash and sourdough bread. Service was great and the seating out on the patio was very nice and pleasant. I really enjoyed eating here.

If you want Mexican food in the Coalville area this is the only spot. I came here for lunch and had a fairly tasty smothered burrito. There was a lot of food for the money. The verde sauce was good but needed more pork The service was well interesting. My buddy and I sat down and the waiter asked if we wanted to split the check or go "boyfriend, girlfriend". We are both males, but whatever. Then the rest of the visit he kept calling me "miss". Finally I gave him a WTF look and he says "I'm just messing around". Anyway I'll still come again so I can give the burgers a try. But most likely order to go.

We love taking the beautiful drive up to Coalville to eat at the Polar King. Great breakfast, Mexican food and classic drive-inn burgers & fries. I love that they have Mt. Dew!

Really more of a Mexican place than the traditional Polar King Frozen Treats place. Hopefully the name change will better set expectations. Bonus star to being open Sundays for those traveling through. I'm sure the Mexican would be tasty but I didn't get a chance to try on this visit. From the frozen treat side, the menu seems limited. Not a lot of styles or flavors. The softserve was kinda grainy and not super smooth. The fruit flavors were all pumped syrup and no real fruit. None of the shakes were "over the rim: style which is typical of the namesake. However after a long summer drive, it was an oasis in the desert and a welcome spot. Any cold treat was welcomed and gobbled up.

Took my kids here, got the French toast, bacon and eggs, and the kids pancakes. Our expectations were definitely exceeded. I'd go again tomorrow (I actually did and got a bacon egg and cheese biscuit).

One of the only places that coffee didn't disappoint, wanted strong coffee and got it . Food was beyond good, huge and great for pricing, was stacked full but we got our food way quick. We were seated at a table in far end of the room. Once seated it's hard to get in and out from the wall seat because the table are pretty close together. I ordered the Spinach, Mushroom and Swiss 4 Egg Omelet. They asked me if I wanted 2 or 4 eggs and I chose 4. As a substitute for the potatoes, I opted to choose the avocado which came as a slice 1/2 of avocado. For my toast option, I chose the single pancake, but could also have chosen a scone. The scone wasn't on the menu as a option, so I missed this when I ordered. My omelet was very flavorful, although a bit dense. I attributed that to the 4 eggs fitting into a 2 egg form factor, but I really don't know that for sure. The avocado was a good complement to the omelet and worked out very well. The pancake was delicious. There was syrup on the table and butter came on the plate. I gobbled it right down and thought that I maybe should have got another one. I have eaten here before when I was in the area, and will likely return again when up here. The busy nature of the restaurant is offset by the good quality food.

This restaurant is on a second floor so if you've been on the slopes and jello-legged - be prepared for a few steps. The space is nice and the service was so kind and inviting. It can get a little loud depending on who the other patrons are. We've been where the din has been muted but also there when raucous kids provided an unwanted accompaniment to dinner. The food is definitely top notch and the servers are happy to provide some insights to what is good. Complimentary hummus with crudite kicks off the meal - but don't be afraid to order the bread it's carbolicous and baked in house. What we've had: * Fried mushrooms. A mix of battered and fried earthy goodness. We liked this and those who like these nightshades will too * Spicy clams. A big hit with us with the slight spice to it - dip the crusty bread in the broth and savor * Creamy Celeriac Soup. A delightful surprise - a creamy soup that has wonderful flavor accented by the spice oil. I would recommend this for soup lovers. * Miso Chilean Sea Bass. A very solid dish with greens and lotus roots. It's not a huge portion but enough. * Crispy Duck Leg - Delicious and full of flavor and the potato perogis are a great accompaniment * Filet Mignon - This was a perfect medium rare and a well composted dish. The Yukon potato mash - ridiculously good (we ordered more to go) * Banana Cream Pie Stack - this topped off a great meal For a cocktail - The Night Shift was a winner.

Definitely a good spot if you're looking for a place to grab cocktails and sit somewhere that feels a little elevated. For drinks, we ordered the Smoked Old Fashioned and the Prickly Pear Mezcal Margarita. Both were solid and nicely made, though nothing particularly memorable. Appetizer wise we tried the baked brie dessert wise tried the baked Alaska, and banana pudding. The baked brie came with lingonberry pomegranate jam and crackers, but the rind gave it a bit of a stronger flavor than expected and it didn't quite hit for us. The desserts overall were decent, but none were standout enough that we'd go out of our way to order them again. One thing that stood out was that it felt a little pushy toward ordering entrées, even though we mentioned we were just there for drinks and dessert. Happy to come again and try the entrees maybe that is where they truly shine.
