However, the "raving" was well warranted here. The ice cream is super dense , both in mass, and flavor. It's nearly custard like. The flavors were all very fresh tasting , especially the raspberry. They also had a lot of unique flavors like lavender and honey (which was the other flavor I chose and LOVED IT) I can't wait to come back to try more flavors

There are an abundance of flavors to choose from which got overwhelming but these employees were very helpful when it came to any questions I had. I usually never finish my ice cream but it was so creamy that my will power was gone. I got the butterscotch flavored ice cream with toffee bits which is called butter bricken. (I think?) Great customer service, clean ice cream parlor, and great location with a beautiful view to enjoy while you indulge in your sweet treat.

Years ago, I don't remember being able to go up the stairs to another area, (I could be completely wrong) but this most recent time, we went upstairs and sat to enjoy our scoops while we looked at all of the old fashioned candy, sundae bar, and old fashioned sodas available for purchase. It was only $15 for three of us, two of us got 2 scoops! The best prices in town by FARR (see what I did there? ;) ) and an overall fun ambiance that keeps you wanting more! We are already planning our next trip in, and we can't wait to see what fun flavors are being offered! My personal favorite was the Weber Wildcat. It is a grape ice cream which sounds a little unusual, but BOY was it good!!

They encouraged sampling, excitedly told everyone about free "waffle cone Wednesday", and enthusiastically recommended flavors. They had 2 non-dairy flavors- chocolate coconut and pina colada. My husband had 2 of the regular flavors, including brown sugar cookie dough, and also greatly enjoyed. They also have pints to-go (though no DF). It's a nice quiet spot!

However, I have been here two times, and they are always out of something. Last time, they didn't have a sprinkle waffle bowl. This time, I wanted a normal blonde brownie hot fudge sundae. I was disappointed when they were out of blonde brownies. What shocked me was they were also out of vanilla ice cream AND whipped cream! I couldn't believe it. An ice cream shop being out of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream is like a burger shop being out of burgers. It's outrageous! The situation sounds like a bit from a comedy. Alas, it is the reality of this place: they are consistently out of something every time I visit. Because the staff was friendly and helpful, I suspect that the problem begins with management. The owners need to speak with the managers (or whoever keeps the products in stock), so they can perform inventory checks and ensure that they keep the bare basics available for customers (like vanilla ice cream and whipped cream). If this place goes under, it will be because of their inability to keep items they offer in stock. Sadly, I will not return. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." They will not get a chance to fool me thrice, not even for *thrice* cream ;)
