$17.48 - 1 cone, 1 double-scoop cup, and 1 cup: Golden Passion Fruit, Carmel Cashew & Banana Nutella, Caramel Cashew. We tried to stop here the night before, but the line was about 80 people long. We came back Saturday midday and quickly learned why. While the parking lot was still packed, there was no line once we got inside. And once I started sampling the ice cream, it felt like it was just me floating in the clouds. Across all three flavors, the first thing that stood out was the texture. The Golden Passion Fruit was bright, the Banana Nutella was rich, and the Caramel Cashew was rich. Every scoop was remarkably dense, silky, and creamy. The Golden Passion Fruit was dairy-free, which I'm not entirely sure how that technically qualifies as ice cream. While I have spooned plenty of diary free deserts into my mouth, I have never ordered a dairy free in a commercial creamery so this was going to be a first. But after that first sample, the thought of daily free never crossed my mind. It was dense, rich, smooth, and immensely flavorful. It tasted exactly like the passion fruit I've picked off the trees just minus the seeds. It was bright and was incredibly concentrated. It was outstanding. While this wasn't my order, the person who did order this made the mistake of letting my try their double scoop dish. It was tough to give it back. The Banana Nutella tasted exactly like it sounds. The base was thick, creamy, and custardy with the banana and hazelnut flavors clearly coming through. The Caramel Cashew was also a standout. The caramel brought a deep buttery sweetness while the cashews added a roasted, nutty richness that kept it from becoming overly sweet. In the same dish, those were like rival siblings: they could hang together when they have to, but would prefer the attention be focused solely on them. Scoop sizes were standard and appeared consistent across all the orders. The young crew seemed well trained on portion control and sample limits. They were strictly by the book with two samples maximum. Luckily, someone in my group only wanted one sample, so I was able to claim their unused allocation. I wasn't ready to stop tasting and understand their limits. This may be the highest concentration of cream and dairy richness I've ever experienced in a commercial creamery. The texture was exceptionally dense, silky, and indulgent. As the legend goes - King Arthur had a round table because all the knights were equal. But as we know in real life, some are more equal than others. The Passion Fruit and the Caramel Cashew were definitely more equal, but please don't think the BN was a slouch. This is some of the best ice-cream I have ever had. The best in Utah for sure!! So delicious and just addictive flavors! The service is quick and friendly. I love the ambiance inside. They have some upstairs seating and they know how to control the crowd. It may look busy, but the line moves quick. My favorite flavors are chewy gooey butter-cake and honey-bud. So yummy!! The butter-cake is smooth, creamy, and sweet. While, the honey-bud has those bits of honeycomb in it that just adds a nice texture to it. I always look forward to visiting this place! This new gem in Millcreek features unique flavors of churned ice cream, where you can see them churning by hand. The menu has both regular and rotating/seasonal flavors. I stopped by on a hot day, tried a few samples, and immediately fell in love. I got the honeybud and mango sticky rice, and both were delightful. The honeybud is similar to the honey lavendar from Salt and Straw, but with an addition of honey and honeycomb! The mango sticky rice has real mango chunks with chewy rice (unlike the stale ones you get at other ice cream shops). Everything I tasted had the perfect amount of sweetness and richness. Tried 2 flavors here (4/5 overall) Chewy Butter Cookie 9/10: Highlights are actually the crispy edges on the "chewy" butter cookie. It's definitely chewy, but the nuttier, crispy butter edges are what made this pop for me. White Mint Chocolate 7/10: I always get mint wherever I go and this one was a bit too strong. It's not toothpasty, but it's definitely almost too close to a strong Altoid in terms of mint intensity. Overall, not a huge fan of the ice cream's texture compared to the classic churned creamy/smooth. It's almost too chewy/stringy in nature for me... each scoop with my spoon was almost like dealing with a cheese pull where I had to wrap it around my spoon or rush it into my mouth. It's unique and not bad, but just not for me. Aesthetics and the servers are nice. Pretty crowded and the parking reflects that. I'd say the prices are reasonable but I come from a California background so maybe everything is more affordable to me haha. The line moves fast and is so worth it for the fresh, creamy ice cream that's made daily, and creative flavors abound. They have some seating on the top level. I particularly enjoy that this location has an entire section of DF ice cream that you can get in cups/cones (in Bountiful, the only DF options are pints). The Royal Dutch Chocolate and Golden Passion Fruit are favorites, but surprisingly, my top favorite is the DF Taro- it manages to be light and somehow has a warmth of flavor that you'd expect from boba but not ice cream- grab a pint and enjoy!
