The graham cracker one on the top left was to die for.

Review is for the Food truck, after eating many savory items at the food trucks needed something sweet. Found a short line at this truck and unique flavors, tried 4 different scoops and loved the Graham cracker one! It was delicious. The others weren't too bad either. Really hit the spot and will for sure try them again when they are at the farmer's market.

4.5 stars, but I'm giving it 5 stars so that the rating won't go down. I went here twice. Once, but the it was closed and twice when it was open! The line was empty so I was excited to come here after a long day at work. The employees were friendly and got my order right away. I like that there are a lot of interesting flavors and I saw that people enjoyed graham canyon. I also like that you can have both the cone and the cup in case you're driving home. In my opinion, I didn't like graham canyon at all. Although I enjoyed the crunch, possibly from the honeycomb, I think that it should have a strong graham crackers flavor. I just simply taste regular ice cream. All in all, this is a cute and quaint ice cream place. Might come back for the cookies and cream.

Aggie Blue Mint ice cream and Aggie Night ice cream is a Utah thing and I wanted to try it ever since I moved out here. FINALLY DID! I can say, it's pretty good. I'm not sure why it isn't in the local stores as a quart size or pint size. I would definitely sneak that into the cart every now and then. If anyone reading this knows more info on this important matter, please let me know! A short background, the Aggie's ice cream collection comes from up north in Logan, a Utah State University. Whatever they are doing up there, I'm down for it. Great flavors and combinations. I will definitely go up there one day and check out the creamery itself but will enjoy the local ice cream shop in the mean time. Definitely try that mint flavor. It's unique! I really enjoy the small things like this that give you a taste of local sweetness, and this fits that bill.

I've never had Aggies or BYU ice cream, but I've heard plenty of talk about them. So when I learned that both were served at a nearby location, I figured I'd give it a try. The first thing I realized upon arrival is that this used to be a car wash. Brilliant re-purposing of a building! They have strung lights around the drive through area directing you where to go. It's a show and a treat! The menu board is behind the lights, which is a little tricky to see and is before you get to the window where you order. It would be nice if you could see the board as you're ordering for those who are making a large order and may not remember everything. The service was friendly and fairly quick. The ice cream itself was just ok. Maybe I'm just not a big enough college fan to get into the flavors, but nothing on the menu really appealed to me. I'm usually a mint chocolate chip fan and their closest version was mint brownie. The mint was a little overpowering and the brownie was fine, but I would have preferred chocolate chips. I'd be willing to come back and give it another try because, well, ice cream. But I'll try something different.

Menu. Memorize it because it's the only time you'll see it before you get to the window.

FYI: They also have flavors not on the menu. Ask at the window. Consistently good service. Aggie and BYU ice cream. While I can see the benefit of Drive thru service, park and sit would be nice, too. If this place got crowded, it would be impossible to pull in as there isn't a lot of space. Thoroughly enjoyed Aggies Blue Googles and BYU Graham Canyon ice cream as well as the Salted Caramel. Plenty of choices, add ins, and baked goods

As discussed in other reviews it's in a weird spot with a bunch of other businesses. We went on a Monday night so parking wasn't a problem. We went in instead of drivethru. There is only one table inside. Two tables outside. Ice cream is awesome. Service was pretty quick and friendly. $2.99 single scoop in cup or cake cone. Ice cream Quality is amazing. Been back a couple times.

Read a blog and here I am, enjoying some Aggie's Blue Mint. I love mint chocolate ice cream. I love having white chocolate chips in my ice cream. And I see why USU won in their ice cream creation competition with their blue mint, crushed Oreos, and white chocolate chunks. Though the chunks could have been bigger (my preference). The hubby ordered BYU Graham Canyon because he doesn't like mint and he was loving the flavors of chocolate, honeycomb, and graham cracker ribbon. It was awesome to be able to go through the drive thru to order since we had our doggo in the car with us and it was a hot 94 degree day.

Single Scoop Aggie ROTC on a sugar cone

Scoop is a sweet shop offering varieties of both Aggie and BYU ice creams, in a cute sort of faux competition. The menu is adorable, and you have your choice of cup, cake, sugar, or waffle cone, various sizes, + a few toppings. On offer is also Pineapple Dole Whip or Dreamsicle soft serves, a float or moat (ice cream + milk or cocoa), and added most recently, a revolving variety of baked goods (on our visit: chocolate chip cookies, brownies, homemade Oreos, scotch-a-roos, and snickerdoodles). Lastly, you can get BYU ranch dressing, ice cream by the half gallon, and various flavored milks. I thought Scoop was only drive thru, but it turns out they have a whole indoor area with arcade games and such. I did not go inside, so cannot speak to it, but that certainly could be a great option for getting the kids out of the house to play and have a treat. On our visit, we were happy to take advantage of the convenience of the drive thru, and though the wait with just one car in front of us was a bit lengthy, they seemed to be going pretty speedily, and I noticed other customers being assisted inside, so that seems fair. As others have noted, the menu prior to the window where you will actually order is the only one you'll see, so make sure you know what you'd like! I had a single scoop of Aggie's ROTC (chocolate base with raspberry swirl, toffee, and Oreos) in a sugar cone, my husband a single scoop of Aggie Bull Tracks in a waffle cone. We couldn't get away without a rocky road brownie (loved the pecans and toasted marshmallow on top, yum!) and Oreo cookie (okay, but kind of dry and the filling was just straight sweet). I don't like to eat and drive, so we just parked behind the building, and there was plenty of space. The ice cream was served with a triangle of Stroopwaffle on top: a small, but much appreciated addition that made it feel more special than a standard cone. I loved the flavor of my ice cream, but the texture was a little dry, and sort of crumbly. Instead of a nice, lush, round ball, it was in chunks, and falling apart a bit. My friend absolutely adores the Bishop's Bash ice cream here, and says BYU's base is superior, so next time I am getting one of theirs to make a comparison. Still, there is a lot to love here. The price is right at just a couple dollars for some pretty darn good ice cream, you're supporting a local business and local schools, the ease of a drive thru can't be beat, and, such a silly rarity in the area, they are open late-ish: until 9:00pm.

Experience was fantastic. We started out in the drive thru but our kids had a hard time seeing the menu so we went inside. The entrance was underwhelming but the upstairs parlor was adorable. Plenty of seating upstairs, even a cute little blue couch (cleaver by the way. I caught that. ;) ), along with a game room and little stage. Our kids were so excited, it distracted them from their delicious ice cream. They serve up both BYU and Aggie ice cream. It was super fun to have both in one place! I enjoyably combined the two, Muah ha ha. Fun place to take kids or enjoy an old college pastime. Support this local fav.

This is my 1st time trying scoops and I can saftley say i absolutely love Scoops. Everytime I drive by this place I always think they are closed lol Because I don't see any cars there or maybe because it's the time i am there. I tried this place with my sister since she was the one who told me it was not closed. I had a double scoop ice cream in a cup, i had the praline pecan, this flavor was not over powering, very nice and smooth. My second flavor was the strawberry sundae crunch, this is by far my favorite, it reminds me exactly of the strawberry shortcake stick ice cream, ohhh my goodness this is just awesome. My sister had a double scoop in a cone and she got the the graham canyon this tasted like golden graham cereal and earnestly choclate this tasted like rocky road ice cream...and i mean i don't know who Leatherbys is anymore if I'm being honest with myself . I definitely am surprised by this place and highly recommend it.

Great service, fun experience, great variety, and prices are very reasonable for premium hard ice cream. Our family had a good time hanging out upstairs in the game room too.

I agree that it is frustrating to have to memorize exactly what you want before pulling up to the window. The brownies were just like my dad's and so I'm not sure if that's a good thing because my dad's are basic, or box. The ice cream was so hard! I had to wait a bit for it to melt a little. We had 4 different flavors and only liked the Graham cracker one. The Google maps took us to 2 different places.

We decided to take our twin daughters to have an afternoon snack after arriving in SLC after a two week camper van (RV) adventure to Glacier, Boise, Shoshone, and Yellowstone national parks. On a hot summer day, ice cream was definitely on the "must have" snack list, and Leatherby's was our first (and only) choice. Please refer to my two other Leatherby's reviews and you can simply copy and paste my opinion of their ice cream creations. This particular location has the added Mexican food option on their menu (tamales and ice cream seem an odd combo to me, but, hey, it seems to work here). This location, also, has absolutely NO PARKING - except the few street spots that you may come upon if you're lucky. Sadly, minus one star for being a pain to park. The staff were super fantastic, attentive, friendly and generally excellent. Small (but cozy) shop. The location, however, seemingly dictates the severe space limitation. Almost empty when we were there, but that might be because we visited quite early (about 4p or so). The ice cream scoop sizes were ENORMOUS!!! I might avoid this location after dark, but otherwise if you're early you'll have the whole joint to yourself.
