I claim to be an ice cream fan, which I am, but Sweetaly might turn me more toward gelato. The flavors are outstanding-so rich and powerful without the heaviness of an ice cream. My friends and I were on ísbíltúr, which is an Icelandic tradition where you take a road trip to get ice cream. We bent the rules a little and expanded to gelato too. I don't think anyone will mind. This darling little shop is more on the minimalistic side as far as aesthetic, but the gelato is the star of the show. There are lots of flavors to choose from, and we opted to try 8 of them. My favorites were lemon and pistachio-so rich and refreshing. Service is delightful and the entire experience was just fun. I'd love to see more locations of Sweetaly-maybe out on the west side, perhaps?

If you're looking for an authentic gelato in SLC look no further. Sweetaly is a charming little shop that delivers the true tastes of Italy. The gelato is creamy, rich and bursting with flavor. I'd argue it's way better gelato than Dolcetti Gelato downtown. Not to mention it's made fresh! They also have tiramisu, drinks and take home hot chocolate. Its cozy and inviting atmosphere makes it the perfect spot for a date night or end of day little sweet treat. Plus the staff is always so sweet, friendly and speedy!

Such a great little spot. The gelato is absolutely fantastic, which is already enough. But the service sets this spot apart. We have two toddlers who love coming here. They can be rambunctious and curious, and the staff are always so kind and welcoming with them and our family. This has quickly become a traditional spot for us. A must try and a staple for anyone with kiddos looking for a more family-centric approach to service.

Fantastic, one of my favorite places to grab dessert. The workers are always great with letting you try the different favors and always make a perfect affogato. I took family here on Sunday and they are already asking to go back!

I'm not a very big fan of gelatos as most of the time they taste like just watery. BUT...this one was different!!! O_O Three of us went, and each took a cone with half & half flavors...so got to try out 6 different flavors. To my utter surprise each and every flavor was excellent! So creamy and delicious...yummm!!! Will definitely go back again. I think I just found my favorite gelato store :)

I was introduced to gelato in Italy. Ever since I've been on the search for American gelato that tastes like it did in Italy. All the gelato places we've been to in Utah are more like ice cream. Sweetaly Gelato is spot on. Most important the texture is the way gelato should be. Super smooth and delicious. If you want authentic gelato this is the place to go in Utah.

This little Holladay City Gem is a place I don't want anyone to miss! Yummy fresh and amazing Gelato right in the heart of Holladay. The portions are very generous... the pictures I posted are the second to smallest size! My kids all love the strawberry sorbet, but I may have to try more before I can decide on a favorite!

Great staff & gelato! Nice atmosphere and clean! We will come back again to try more flavors!

It's a super cute gelato shop in Holladay. The strawberry and lemon gelato was terrific. My son enjoyed the piña colada. Would recommend!

Even if it was just me I think the small is plenty big. They have plenty of seating and a fun photo op wall as well. They offer ice cream as well. The workers were nice and it was cool to see them make them in front of us through the glass. I got the Strawberry Shorty that had strawberry chocolate, white chocolate, fresh strawberries, cookie crumble, and whipped cream. It didn't have very many fresh strawberries at all, but it was delicious! My sister got the Funky Monkey that had Reese's peanut butter, milk chocolate, bananas and almonds. It was delicious also! So rich and creamy, I just wish it had more bananas with it. My dad got the Dulce De Leche that had white chocolate, Dulce De Leche filled, banana, and toasted coconut. Like the other two it was delicious! Just wish it had more bananas. We took ours to go and ate them at home. They traveled just fine and were still fresh by time we got home (20 minutes). We all liked all 3 of them and cannot wait to go back and try some different flavors.

We were planning on going to another dessert place close by but they were closed so it was a happy accident that we came here. Definitely not a place you want to miss.

It was served over garlic mashed potatoes. Every bite was amazing Wife had a shrimp linguine dish that she loved. We finished with the special chocolate cake with three scoops of house made vanilla ice cream the sized of large oranges. It would have served three easily. I could go on about the meal if I could find better words. Our server, Arthur is a real pro. He was training Amie? Our every desire was met without feeling rushed. We were in no hurry to leave. Look, we are retired and very frugal. Dropping $200 on a night out is a very special occasion for us. When we reach that occasion we need it to be rewarding. Arthur, Amie, and everything else about Tuscany left us feeling we need to do this more often. Sorry I'm not the guy taking pictures of my food so none here. Trust me, you need to be there.

Number two, the popular toppings, popping boba and mochi, have been ripped from our very own hands. Third of all, they had four different flavors of vanilla. How do you even make different types of vanilla? They were the same thing just named differently. Now personally, I would not be enjoying country time flavored vanilla. Last but certainly not least, my sister's ice cream was freezer burned. There was mysterious chunks of ice in her froyo. And not to mention the workers have the audacity to ask for a tip, when I was the one who did all of the work, crafting my icecream, which really pushed me over the edge. I was so excited to embark on this journey to menchies but instead I was met with sadness and distraught. I will surely NOT be coming back to this location until I have received the news that these mishaps have been corrected.
