Cabernet, Garden salad with bacon added and the best onion rings ever!!

Enjoyed a nice Sunday drive and came up for lunch!! I absolutely love this place! Always such a welcoming vibe! I treated myself to a cranberry mimosa and my husband had an iced tea. He had a veggie omelette with hash browns and toast and I had a 1/2 wedge salad and we shared onion rings!! Yummy! We splurged and shared the apple crisp dessert!! Delicious, but enormous!! So glad we came today!

Cheeseburger, with 25 cents worth of cheese that I had to pay $1.75 extra for.

The hamburger was pretty flavorless, I asked for Heinz 57, they didn't have any. The waitress was overly nice. Enough to be annoying. There is an extra charge for everything that should have come with the meal. Making the mail way overpriced.

We stopped here for a late lunch on our way back to Park City from Mirror Lake and were seated right away. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Seating was a mix of booths and tables. I did see a small patio off the back. Our food arrived quickly and it was absolutely delicious! I had the Turkey Reuben, and the rye bread was perfectly toasted and buttered. The French fries were unlike any I've had before, and I can't stop thinking about them. My brother had the burger and said it was good, while my sister-in-law tried the potato soup and thought it was a bit watery. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this diner is worth a stop!

Mirror Lake Diner is a small quaint little classic diner that I found on google! It's a true hidden gem about 25 mins away from the ski resorts. Upon entering we were greeted with a big warm smile and were advised to sit where we liked. Meagan, our server, who was also our greeter was awesome! She was attentive, friendly and accommodating for my special substitutions! The food wasn't the best to me, I'd say a solid 3/5 but what Mirror Lake lacked in flavor, they more than made up for in fresh ingredients, service and portion size! The service was warm and friendly, making you feel like a regular even on your first visit! The potatoes and the fruit tasted freshly cut! The country fried steak was very good! I recommend stopping by as it's a great place for a casual meal with family or friends.

Worth the 4.5 star rating for sure! Great spot that serves breakfast lunch and dinner! They always have so many great options!

The food is great and workers are friendly except for Brittney she has a bit of an attitude and seemed off. She had a stench of alcohol coming off her. The place is great and good if you wanna stop by for dinner with family. Sau

We stopped in here just by chance. We were very happy with the food and service. Our server, Isabel, was great. Lovely, quaint place with great food. We will definitely go back.

They offered a curbside service in 2020 that was very popular but have discontinued that venture but reopened the beautiful upstairs dining room and bar, with a magnificent view of the Kamas Valley. As they start to emerge from the COVID crisis, the menu is still somewhat basic, and they do not appear to have a full-time chef or even much kitchen staff. I've only eaten lunch there, so it may be different in the evening. If you calibrate your expectations towards a beautiful place to sit and talk and eat bar food style fare, then you'll get that for which you went. I'd go more for the atmosphere than the food right now. They seem to be focused on catering events, for which they are wonderfully suited. They also appear to be just nursing the restaurant along, using the super friendly and engaged service staff for the double duty of cooking and serving and playing it safe until the economy supports more investment in their restaurant. We still go there when we're in the mood for what they offer. I hope to upgrade my rating as they restore their business back to its former state, which I fully expect. They seem to be good business people balancing keeping the doors open and not losing money so they have a healthy business to bring the full staff back to once sanity is restored.

The restaurant is further Park City and Kamas than I expected even having checked on the map before driving, just FYI for those thinking this is near PC. BUT as a local Parkite, I did see people I know also dining there for their Sunday Brunch. We had made a reservation, but I guess if you only do it 1 day in advance it's not on the paper they print out, so they weren't prepared for us. And I don't know if they were shorthanded at 4 staff members on the floor (1 was the owner, 2 were waitresses, 1 was a busser), but we waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Despite this, they were all very kind and had good costumer service, just slow. Woodland Biscuit Company is a very small restaurant. During the good weather months they have outdoor seating too, which helps to accommodate more parties. But this is not the place to bring large groups. Of course you come for the biscuits. They offer "first come, first serve" cinnamon roll biscuits but as we were in the late brunch crowd, they were sold out. So we settled on The Messy to split but my son didn't like the granola on top BUT that also didn't stop him from shoving a 1/4 biscuit in his mouth at a time. The rest was good too - eggs and bacon plate (served with a small biscuit), and croquettes madame (on top of a large, flat biscuit).

A long time coming to try Woodland Biscuit. I wish our experience had been better, but now we know…read morethis place is a one and done. Plan on waiting, waiting for them to clean a table, waiting for water (which was Luke warm and disgusting really), waiting for them to take your order, and then waiting for the food. 30 minutes before our order was taken. Once the food came out, two entrees show up, missing two others, then one more came out, still missing mine! I was the last to get my dish. Ugh. We ordered mini biscuits (biscuit cinnamon rolls sold out-bummer), and the beets with yogurt sauce and mini biscuits. The beet dish was not as described on the menu! It was a tostada scrambled egg beet thing, and was just okay. The mini biscuits are delicious, light fluffy, and the jam is divine. The dishes we ordered: Breakfast plate with eggs, bacon and potatoes. They are very skimpy on the potatoes, enough for a toddler, but definitely not an adult. Croque Madam, this was very good. The sauce was excellent, and the biscuit is perfect, but again, very small portion. Biscuit and gravy- amazing sauce, delicious, but any farmer would leave hungry. I got the smoked salmon omelette, small portion, very little salmon, tiny scoop of potatoes. Good flavor, but for the price and the amount of food you get, I'm not sure we will ever come back. I definitely don't recommend going out of your way to come here, because you may be very disappointed like we were. If the wait was quicker, portions were bigger or it was priced better, we would consider coming back. I'm sure they don't need more business so they probably don't mind a less than ideal review.

They were not; they were actually 50% or more higher at the restaurant. The hamburger that was showing on Yelp for $15 was actually $22. The Steak Frites advertised for $22 were $35. I understand inflation, but this was a gross enough difference that it borders on deception, in my opinion. I also had a bad experience with my food: I ordered a cup of their chili (which they claim is made from scratch, on-site) and it was brought to the table cold. Like, "right out of a can" cold. Kelsi, our fantastic server, returned it to the kitchen where (I presume) they nuked it and brought it back. It was heated, but not very tasty. Flat; under-seasoned; mushy textured. Definitely something I'd never order again. Many reviews say the atmosphere is "loud" but what they mean is, it's "LOUD". We were seated inside, and it was nearly impossible for the three of us to converse. The acoustics are not great. Enough cons; how about some pros? My burger was FANTASTIC! piled high with caramelized onions and pastrami, but beef patty tasted like it'd just come off a charcoal grill. Terrific flavor in every bite. (The parmesan fries were tasty, too, but a little on the soggy side.) My dining partners each had a salad (one 'wedge' and one 'beetroot') and both were well-prepared and generously portioned. And, finally, the staff, the location, the vibe: All really first-rate. I'll probably come back, if I ever recover from the bait'n'switch sticker shock. (But I'll steer clear of the chili and opt to dine on the patio, if that's available!)
