I love this place! I can't wait to spend more time there. Food is delicious and drinks are even better!

Since it has open back up the food has been horrible and service even worse. I went to order take out at the bar there was 3 people behind the bar and they all ignored me for a good ten minutes. The people at the bar were really loud and dropping the f-bomb left and right. We have come to this restaurant since it open and this by far is the worse I have seen it! We supported this place during covid and ordered take out every week and it was amazing! I will not be supporting this place until something changes.

Wow!!!!! So good! Best place in Kamas. Even tops if you include Park City Restaurants. Must tries: the steak nachos and the cheese fries. Portions are huge, quality is amazing. Service is impeccable.

Yeah I'm gonna go ahead and give this place 5-stars. Before I list some things that I liked I would give this disclaimer. You can tell it is a new restaurant and there certainly are some kinks to work out but based on my experience last night this places deserves 5-stars. First, the building and setting is gorgeous. Everything is new and has a great vibe. It is somewhere in between rustic and contemporary. Our food was delicious. Our party tried about everything on the menu. We didn't try many of the starters but everything we had was delicious. I especially enjoyed the French dip (called the mg dip) and the Mac and cheese. The portions are quite large and the prices are pretty good. Hopefully they just keep the menu the same. I will for sure be back.

We really like the atmosphere of their upstairs bar area. Adults only with high tops and excelente views. Go before sunset. Service is a little on the slow side but mainly because it can get packed really fast. Just be sure to grab a drink and enjoy the atmosphere and know it's gonna be on a slower pace. Food is great. And presentation is beautiful. We tried their restaurant downstairs too with our kids and the only thing that's was disappointing was that the lights were so bright that it didn't feel like a relaxing dinner for the whole family. I would suggest the manager to dim down a tiny bit and maybe some low soothing music just to give more of an ambiance. Service downstairs was excellent as w head a really big party. Their corn bread is to die for. Be sure to get some. Their best appetizer in my opinion is their smoked pulled pork sliders. It's good place to get dress up and have a bite or have a chill night with the fam if you don't feel like cooking for everyone.

Good country food, cheap Bloody Mary's. Pancakes were nice and fluffy, breakfast potatoes are deep fried and big but not bad.

Wait staff was friendly but a little hard to hear since it's definitely got a diner vibe and it's pretty noisy. The Spanish omelette was a little smaller than I expected and a little dry. It needed Spanish sauce and cheese on the top, definitely. We got some green salsa to add. The breakfast sandwich was good. I expected the ciabatta roll to be a little more dense, as ciabattas normally are. It was more like a roll, but fresh! I think it comes from the Oakley bakery on the lower level. Definite diner vibe, as I said, but the floor was pretty dirty. Needed to be swept and mopped. When you're waiting for the hostess to check for a clean table, you're standing by the first seated table. A little awkward. All-in-all we'd probably go back. We like the drive up from Layton, and beggars can't be choosers on Sundays!

It was one of the freshest ones I have ever had! Full of flavor, didn't run "meat juice" all over the place. So, if you want to take a quick trip out of SLC. Head on up here. They were not; they were actually 50% or more higher at the restaurant. The hamburger that was showing on Yelp for $15 was actually $22. The Steak Frites advertised for $22 were $35. I understand inflation, but this was a gross enough difference that it borders on deception, in my opinion. I also had a bad experience with my food: I ordered a cup of their chili (which they claim is made from scratch, on-site) and it was brought to the table cold. Like, "right out of a can" cold. Kelsi, our fantastic server, returned it to the kitchen where (I presume) they nuked it and brought it back. It was heated, but not very tasty. Flat; under-seasoned; mushy textured. Definitely something I'd never order again. Many reviews say the atmosphere is "loud" but what they mean is, it's "LOUD". We were seated inside, and it was nearly impossible for the three of us to converse. The acoustics are not great. Enough cons; how about some pros? My burger was FANTASTIC! piled high with caramelized onions and pastrami, but beef patty tasted like it'd just come off a charcoal grill. Terrific flavor in every bite. (The parmesan fries were tasty, too, but a little on the soggy side.) My dining partners each had a salad (one 'wedge' and one 'beetroot') and both were well-prepared and generously portioned. And, finally, the staff, the location, the vibe: All really first-rate. I'll probably come back, if I ever recover from the bait'n'switch sticker shock. (But I'll steer clear of the chili and opt to dine on the patio, if that's available!)

We were seated at a table in far end of the room. Once seated it's hard to get in and out from the wall seat because the table are pretty close together. I ordered the Spinach, Mushroom and Swiss 4 Egg Omelet. They asked me if I wanted 2 or 4 eggs and I chose 4. As a substitute for the potatoes, I opted to choose the avocado which came as a slice 1/2 of avocado. For my toast option, I chose the single pancake, but could also have chosen a scone. The scone wasn't on the menu as a option, so I missed this when I ordered. My omelet was very flavorful, although a bit dense. I attributed that to the 4 eggs fitting into a 2 egg form factor, but I really don't know that for sure. The avocado was a good complement to the omelet and worked out very well. The pancake was delicious. There was syrup on the table and butter came on the plate. I gobbled it right down and thought that I maybe should have got another one. I have eaten here before when I was in the area, and will likely return again when up here. The busy nature of the restaurant is offset by the good quality food.

The restaurant is further Park City and Kamas than I expected even having checked on the map before driving, just FYI for those thinking this is near PC. BUT as a local Parkite, I did see people I know also dining there for their Sunday Brunch. We had made a reservation, but I guess if you only do it 1 day in advance it's not on the paper they print out, so they weren't prepared for us. And I don't know if they were shorthanded at 4 staff members on the floor (1 was the owner, 2 were waitresses, 1 was a busser), but we waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Despite this, they were all very kind and had good costumer service, just slow. Woodland Biscuit Company is a very small restaurant. During the good weather months they have outdoor seating too, which helps to accommodate more parties. But this is not the place to bring large groups. Of course you come for the biscuits. They offer "first come, first serve" cinnamon roll biscuits but as we were in the late brunch crowd, they were sold out. So we settled on The Messy to split but my son didn't like the granola on top BUT that also didn't stop him from shoving a 1/4 biscuit in his mouth at a time. The rest was good too - eggs and bacon plate (served with a small biscuit), and croquettes madame (on top of a large, flat biscuit).

Plan on waiting, waiting for them to clean a table, waiting for water (which was Luke warm and disgusting really), waiting for them to take your order, and then waiting for the food. 30 minutes before our order was taken. Once the food came out, two entrees show up, missing two others, then one more came out, still missing mine! I was the last to get my dish. Ugh. We ordered mini biscuits (biscuit cinnamon rolls sold out-bummer), and the beets with yogurt sauce and mini biscuits. The beet dish was not as described on the menu! It was a tostada scrambled egg beet thing, and was just okay. The mini biscuits are delicious, light fluffy, and the jam is divine. The dishes we ordered: Breakfast plate with eggs, bacon and potatoes. They are very skimpy on the potatoes, enough for a toddler, but definitely not an adult. Croque Madam, this was very good. The sauce was excellent, and the biscuit is perfect, but again, very small portion. Biscuit and gravy- amazing sauce, delicious, but any farmer would leave hungry. I got the smoked salmon omelette, small portion, very little salmon, tiny scoop of potatoes. Good flavor, but for the price and the amount of food you get, I'm not sure we will ever come back. I definitely don't recommend going out of your way to come here, because you may be very disappointed like we were. If the wait was quicker, portions were bigger or it was priced better, we would consider coming back. I'm sure they don't need more business so they probably don't mind a less than ideal review.
