Nice spot for lunch, very friendly staff! Lots of bees when eating outside, could probably solve that with battery powered table fans. Food was good! Lots of parking, definitely recommend! Check out their bakery in the back

Fresh, Flavorful & Totally Charming Stopped into Windy Ridge Café and was pleasantly surprised--everything was so fresh and delicious. I had the spinach and tomato quiche (fluffy and perfectly baked), the watermelon gazpacho (refreshing and just the right touch of sweet), and the beet and walnut salad (a great mix of earthy, tangy, and crunchy). The staff was warm, the patio was peaceful, and the vibe is cozy without being crowded. A perfect off-the-main-drag spot in Park City. Highly recommend

This was a cute little place, we're visiting from Arizona for the summer. The waiter was super kind and did his job well. The guy that brought our food out was also happy with a smile (his hair was in a ponytail with big earrings). Most the food was really good minus the meatloaf which tasted very "herby", best way I can describe it hahah! Overall very nice experience and food came out fast! Very friendly staff.

We have been wanting to try Windy Ridge cafe for a while. It is a unique, colorful, diner type restaurant. I had high expectations going in for the hot chocolate looking at all the previous pictures and was a little disappointed by it. It was decent but I had higher expectations from previous pictures/reviews. The shredded chicken Asian salad was good. I liked the dressing. The cucumbers seemed a little slimy in it. I was initially concerned about the chicken as it looked very bland however the dressing and salad made it better. I think if there was some citrus or crunch to the salad like wonton strips or mandarin oranges the salad would have been better. For the sandwich the fried egg was over cooked and the potatoes were under seasoned. The best thing about this restaurant was the onion ring tower. The batter was seasoned perfectly. The service was good.

Absolutely love the patio eating area with all the planters of bright colored flowers! We ate dinner on the patio last night, and both ordered the fried chicken with buttermilk biscuit and gravy. We also had a side of the green beans with bacon. The fried chicken was delicious and plentiful! Nice crunchy coating and tender inside. The biscuit was my favorite, so delicious, not hard or cakie. However, I was disappointed in the green beans as they looked and tasted canned, the bacon was delicious and nice portions, but the vinegar was overwhelming so we barely ate them. We took home a slice of the snickers pie and we loved it, especially the peanuts that were on top! Overall delicious meal

The food was mediocre. The ambiance is tired. Definitely would not return. There are many other great casual restaurants to choose from.

You can really tell that everything is made in-house, and that attention to detail shows in every bite. If you're even thinking about stopping by, do it. Hidden Peak Provisions is a must. Also, I DM'd them to get an idea of what's in the spicy beef. Here you go: Spicy beef. house roasted roast beef, Capicola, american cheese, burrata, house made giardiniera, house made hot sauce, house made aioli, house made chili spread, (that makes the sauce). chopped romaine, toasted hoagie. The wife and I were both in the mood for sandwiches and I sneaked a peak at some Yelp reviews to see how this place was and what people liked. With that knowledge, I was ready to order when we got there. However, the owner threw a curve ball, the sandwich of the day was The Cuban and it sounded delicious. But I walked in there confident of my choice of The Italian Stallion. Dang it, I was now unsure what I wanted. The wife came to the rescue and said that we should order both and we could swap halves. BRILLIANT! We ordered the Italian Stallion (spicy, they add jalapeños) and the Cuban along with a small container of mac salad and one of potato salad. We found a table outside in the sun, as it was in the low sixties and was perfect outside. We did not have to wait long for our food to come out to us. Both sandwiches were served hot and they looked fantastic and smelled even better. As you can see from the picture I dove right into the Italian Stallion before I remembered to take a picture. The wife waited for me to take a picture of the Cuban before she dug in. The taste did not disappoint, we each agreed they were very good. I highly recommend the Italian Stallion if you like Italian subs. One of the best I have ever had. By the time we ate our first halves and ate the little containers of Mac/potato salads, we were both full, so we did not get to taste the other sandwich. That was OK, they became our picnic when exploring SLC the next day. They were great even day old and cold. Yum! The person I assume was the owner was a bit gruff but not really in a bad way. When a customer asked to repeat what was in the Cuban, he replied to her "we just had that conversation". I laughed out loud and truly believe he was joking with her, but he did not crack a smile. He did go through the ingredients again. My thought is he's from Philly or Jersey. Hope I don't insult him with those guesses. As we were leaving, he let us know that the next day's sandwich was tri-tip and I am sure they could rock that. The next day, as we headed to SLC with our picnic sandwiches, we drove past the cafe and they had a large grill or smoker with smoke billowing out. The smell of the cooking tri-tip made me wish we were going to be back in Park City by lunch, but sadly we were not. Go. Eat Well. Have Fun!

I work in the restaurant industry, so I really appreciate good service and I always tip well, and I take reviews seriously. We confirmed ahead of time that Sammy's could seat our party of ten -- they said "just come." On top of that, their Google profile said they were animal friendly, so I assumed my service animal would be well received. When we arrived with most of our group and the rest just minutes away, we were immediately seated. But then things fell apart. After being seated, we were told we shouldn't have been seated until our full party arrived -- despite the staff being the ones who seated us. When we asked if Emilia wanted us to stand back up and wait in the lobby, she said no, don't worry about it. Yet we felt like a burden the entire meal. The staff seemed frustrated with us rather than accommodating. To make matters worse, my chicken parm -- which they tout as their most famous dish -- arrived cold and watery. I ended up replacing it with the kids' chicken nuggets, which ironically tasted far better. The biggest issue was our server, Emilia. She repeatedly shamed me for having my service animal -- a trained epilepsy detection dog who was quiet, well-behaved, and doing exactly what he's trained to do: staying by my side. I was stunned and humiliated. On top of all that, they refused to split the check for a party of ten -- a completely standard request. When I asked to speak with a manager, Emilia said they weren't available and that she would be talking to them about my service animal. Management, please reach out if you want to make this right. I felt singled out and humiliated. I won't be back, and I'd encourage anyone with a service animal to think twice before dining here.
