My husband and I are staying on the mountain in Park City in late July. The Saltbox is close to the mountain, not in the downtown area of Park City so it was convenient for us with plenty of parking. Initially we thought we entered a coffee shop that only served coffee, tea and pastries as the interior is quite small with maybe seven or eight tables. It's bright and clean and the menu displayed above the counter indicated otherwise. The patio in the back is large, but it was about to rain, so we took a table inside. The menu offers plenty of options and the service was great! Our meals were delivered in 10 minutes! Now this is how restaurants should make scrambled eggs! Light, fluffy and hot! The bagel and fruit were good too. I tasted the raspberry preserves from my husbands plate, they tasted homemade and they were delicious! My husband order The All American with eggs, bacon, sausage, toast and potatoes. Large portions and great food! My only suggestion would be to lower the volume of the music and perhaps the style as it seems to be geared to the staff, not the patrons. What an unexpected little gem! read more

The space inside is pretty small (they have an outdoor area but it was too cold for us to sit outside during this season), so not really suited for big groups. Decent menu but not very customizable to accomplish any dietary restrictions (especially dairy free). Food is okay but not for the prices they are charging (I think an avocado toast was $18, you can easily get the same thing for almost half the price at any bakery). We liked the bacons (very crispy and slightly burned which is the way we like it) but not a fan of the sausage (it's not a link or patty, almost more like a meatball). We had the French dip and Hallibut tacos, which the waitress even said are the most popular items on their menu! The prices are high, but the amount of food you get makes up for the price! What a find in Park City! It's nice that this restaurant is outside of busy Main St. Plenty of parking in their private lot. Loved the food! This has gotta be one of the best dining establishments in Park City. Truly one of the best food experiences I've had here! Andrea, our server (and maybe manager), was lovely and very welcoming upon arrival. She served us with a bright smile on her face and she seemed very happy to be part of this restaurant. I initially thought it was only a grab-and-go type of establishment, but they surprisingly had ample amount of seating available if you wanted to dine in. The environment felt cozy but not tight at all, with fun decorations inside. We came during the holiday season--I LOVED the holiday decoration and music, it created such a nice atmosphere. They have great grab-and-go options if you wanted to as well! The food was nothing short of excellent. Their sandwiches were some of the best I've ever eaten in my life, taking on such a unique presentation--especially the Potato Egg Sando (sandwich). Their sandwiches' included great flavor, level of warmth, and texture. I highly recommend coming here for a meal! Went for the potato egg sando. Walked in ahead of two others. The lady at the counter thought the 3 of us were together. She handed me three menus and said find a seat. I said I only need one menu, I'm by myself. She acted all put out. Told me to seat myself then took care of the people behind me. Got them water first. Took their order first. Their food came out first. Finally got my potato breakfast sandwich. To be honest it wasn't all that. But not super bad either. Kinda bland though. I had to Salt to it a couple times to add flavor. Then the second I found a big long black hair in it, I was done! Just done. Would not recommend based on bad customer service, bland food and the hair. read more

I don't usually leave reviews, but Jeda truly deserves it. The restaurant was extremely busy, with both indoor and patio seating, and Jeda was not only serving tables but also seating people at the same time -- super friendly, fast, and on top of everything. It's not easy to juggle both roles, but she did it with a smile and made sure everyone felt taken care of. You can tell the team here really takes pride in what they do. I usually don't buy brisket unless I see a smoker, but I needn't have worried. There was great smoke flavor and nice fattiness to the meat. We all marveled at the hash browns, which were in a lovely ring shape. I had the açaí smoothie bowl and a side of fries ( best of both worlds). The bowl was filling with fresh fruit. I wished the granola was crunchier for the added texture, but it was still tasty. The fries were freshly cut and came with it a delicious dipping sauce.
