I ordered the Paisano 2.0, and it was genuinely the driest sandwich I've ever eaten. I spent nearly three minutes chewing the first bite before throwing the whole thing away because it was inedible. The sandwich alone cost $16, then another $15 for a small coffee and a cookie. After the tip, I paid around $35 for a meal I couldn't even eat. Absolutely not worth it. Don't go here. read more

First off, food is not good for the price. I do not mind spending money on quality food. But 15$ for the manwich that comes with awful sausage and warmed up meat tossed in a microwave is not quality. And I asked for some hot sauce and they give you this massive bottle you can barely dump out. Service sucks, not quality food save your time and money and go somewhere else. read more

The wife and I are in Park City for a week to check out the fall colors (hopefully) and we were hungry around lunch and Clockwork was in the same parking lot as our hotel. The wife and I were both in the mood for sandwiches and I sneaked a peak at some Yelp reviews to see how this place was and what people liked. With that knowledge, I was ready to order when we got there. However, the owner threw a curve ball, the sandwich of the day was The Cuban and it sounded delicious. But I walked in there confident of my choice of The Italian Stallion. Dang it, I was now unsure what I wanted. The wife came to the rescue and said that we should order both and we could swap halves. BRILLIANT! We ordered the Italian Stallion (spicy, they add jalapeños) and the Cuban along with a small container of mac salad and one of potato salad. We found a table outside in the sun, as it was in the low sixties and was perfect outside. We did not have to wait long for our food to come out to us. Both sandwiches were served hot and they looked fantastic and smelled even better. As you can see from the picture I dove right into the Italian Stallion before I remembered to take a picture. The wife waited for me to take a picture of the Cuban before she dug in. The taste did not disappoint, we each agreed they were very good. I highly recommend the Italian Stallion if you like Italian subs. One of the best I have ever had. By the time we ate our first halves and ate the little containers of Mac/potato salads, we were both full, so we did not get to taste the other sandwich. That was OK, they became our picnic when exploring SLC the next day. They were great even day old and cold. Yum! The person I assume was the owner was a bit gruff but not really in a bad way. When a customer asked to repeat what was in the Cuban, he replied to her "we just had that conversation". I laughed out loud and truly believe he was joking with her, but he did not crack a smile. He did go through the ingredients again. My thought is he's from Philly or Jersey. Hope I don't insult him with those guesses. As we were leaving, he let us know that the next day's sandwich was tri-tip and I am sure they could rock that. The next day, as we headed to SLC with our picnic sandwiches, we drove past the cafe and they had a large grill or smoker with smoke billowing out. The smell of the cooking tri-tip made me wish we were going to be back in Park City by lunch, but sadly we were not. Go. Eat Well. Have Fun! read more

I can't stand places that won't accept reusable coffee mugs; I explained how many ounces my cup was, they still made it in a paper cup and poured it into my mug. My mug is a Yeti, and literally everyone knows how many ounces it is. This is not a mystery. There is no reason to do this, especially since Starbucks and Five Seeds can handle this. It's wasteful and it defeats the point of bringing my own beloved mug. No more coffee (or anything else) for me from Clockwork until they change this policy. read more

Delicious! As a very particular sandwich lover, the Italian Stallion "make it spicy" no peppercinis was hands down one of the best, most savory sandwiches I've tasted. This had good reviews so we thought we'd try it for takeout. We got the chicken salad sandwich, chef salad and a couple Italian sandwiches. The Italian sandwich was okay but the chef salad and chicken salad sandwich were actually pretty terrible. The salad meat smelled old and the lettuce was wilted. I'm being super generous with my 3 star review of Clockwork Cafe. I'm only giving it a higher rating than it deserves because the people who run the place are just SO friendly! I want to support small, family-owned businesses, but let's lay out some truth: the sandwiches here are no better than what I could make myself at home. I ordered a hot smoked turkey club on wheat (they were out of sourdough), and hubby got an Italian sub. Both were so disappointing. The presentation was good, but both sandwiches were lacking in every area possible. First, the bread was dry and tasted like regular old store bought sandwich bread. It would be nice if they had freshly baked or artisan breads as a base. The toppings were super skimpy. My sandwich came with tomatoes and lettuce, and my sandwich had one tomato that had been sliced into what looked like fourths to make it go farther. Yeah, ONE tomato slice spread out over one sandwich. The mustard was standard issue, and the turkey was of a very poor quality (think Buddig over Boar's Head). Hubby said his sub had "zero flavor" and also left highly disappointed. I liked that their soda fountain has Coke Zero, and they have two very rickety outdoor tables, but I don't think I will be back. read more

Love this place! Can't say enough good things about it. They truly do go above and beyond for their customers and community. Ben knows so many of his customers by name, knows their order and even respects and caters to their food allergies. He separates portions of soup each time before he adds corn, so that everyone can get what they need! The employees are always attentive and friendly. You looking for a bite to eat? Good news... stop looking! We swung through the Clockwork Cafe on a whim and I am so glad we did. It was Tuesday... as in Tri Tip Tuesday. They cook over 60+ pounds of tri tip for all the regulars. You decide the level of spice (ie, whether to include jalapeños). So so good that I'm now writing this review to figure out whether I got room for a second one. My 6 yr old joined me but she already had some snacks from a day at the slopes. No problemo though, Ben hooked her up with a small cup of their homemade soup. She is glowing. We will be back! read more

The Reuben and chicken salad are both excellent; I even like to eat the chicken salad on its own because it's tasty and light on mayo. They have daily specials that sound great, but I consistently order the Reuben and always forget to ask beforehand. They make a lot of their ingredients in house, like their dill pickles, and you can tell the staff pay attention to detail and really care about the product they're producing. One of my favorite sandwich spots in Park City, which is coming from the sandwich queen!!! read more

I ordered a latte and was unable to drink it due to the amount of coffee grounds in my drink. I also ordered a breakfast croissant and it was entirely made in the microwave. I wouldn't eat microwave eggs at home so why would I pay for them in a cafe. To say the least I was completely dissatisfied and will not return. read more
