We weren't sure what to expect going into this cafe. It was disappointing. We watched the meat for our sandwich get microwaved so we were a little caught off guard. We ended up eating outside at the seating area. We thought this would be a quick place to grab a sandwich in between running errands and wanted to give it a try. Usually have had a good experience here but this time I watched the meat for my sandwich get placed into microwave for about 30 seconds before the sandwich was made(usually the whole sandwich is toasted) and it came out with cold bread and barely warm contents. Probably one of the worse cafes I've been to. Combining the slow service, with their mediocre food, the experience eating here was something I wish I had avoided. I think the fact they are one of the only food places in the Tanger outlet shopping center allowed them to let their quality suffer. Unfortunately for my husband and me, there just weren't other options. My advice to all the future outlet mall shoppers, is to eat lunch before coming, and save your money before dining here. I have literally never had a sandwich this good at a restaurant before. I ordered the French dip with chips and a drink. Although the sandwich looked a little on the small side, it was surprisingly filling. The French dip had lots of meat cheese and even some onions mustard and some other things I don't exactly remember. It was warm, meaty, and perfect with the Au-jus. Whatever Ben does just go with it. You won't be disappointed. Ben was super nice and had exceptional customer service. He made everyone feel like they were good friends. 3 cookies, a Iced chai tea and a coke and the only thing that you didn't screw up was the coke.... The peanut butter cookie was dry and crumbly, the Chocolate Chip was rock hard, but at least the sugar cookie was moist and felt like it was made that day! but the chai tea... Wow that was a whole new level of " how do you screw up a powdered chai drink" don't you just add water and mix???? Solid soups and sandwiches and super friendly people. Not too many places in PC you can get good food at a decent price

Pretty decent sandwiches and wraps. The Mediterranean (cheekily written as The Med-iterranean) sandwich is good. The turkey breast goes well with hummus and melted cheese in between toasted whole wheat bread. Balsamic vinegar adds sour kick to it. This tastes like home-made. Another good one is The Pacific Rim Wrap. It's like a regular grilled chicken with onion and tomato wrap but the added craisins makes this wrap a lot more interesting. I just wish the wrap itself is less hard. Sometimes they have carrot cake slices here, which is pretty good, except the frosty topping is just sugar and nothing else. The cookies are hit or miss. It depends on which are freshly made. Spot cookie of the day tag. The chocolate fudge cookie is moist and delicious but the peanut butter cookie is dry, hard and crumbly. They have coffee and hot chocolate here too. Pretty ok. If you take back the coffee cup for the brew refill, you get discount on the coffee. Too bad they don't serve Macchiato or Mocha here. I won't purposely make effort to come here from somewhere else but it serves the purpose of filling you in if you're at the Outlet and needs to grab a bite. read more

IF the owner of this place got any nicer id ask him to adopt me!!! Its great here. Every time i eat here the owner treats me as though im his best friend from childhood he hasn't seen in years. You really feel as though he couldnt appreciate your business any more. He has a nice selection of sandwiches and will bend over backwards to make you whatever you want, regardless if its on the menu of not. The sandwiches here are tasty but the service is where the place really shines. Super small shop and gets congested @ times but what would you expect when everyone else probably patronizes this place for the same reasons i do. Good Sandwiches - annual Chili cook off this fall rocked! Great for a quick lunch - and the owner Ben is very friendly. Breakfast sandwiches are great - ask for the special w/ strawberry jam and peppers. Breakfast burrito rocks as well. Friday specials are great too. Average goods with out of proportion cost. Cookies taste like Tollhouse, and cost $1.50 for a small one. The poor review is due to the poor service. Workers walked past us while we waited at the counter without a greeting or even glance at us, and there was only 3 people in the whole shop, all sitting at tables. Then the guy that finally served us, took the order on the register and grabbed my credit card with gloves that were completely covered in grease after he had been working with meat and cheese, then he went back to working in food without changing his gloves. VERY Impressed! Ordered the special - roast beef sandwich with au-jus. The roast was thick-cut with the real au-jus, not a canned stock. The roast beef was generously stacked on a fresh hoagie with 2 thick slices of provolone. I opted for the toasted version. It was delicious and filling. Cozy place - superb service; friendly, attentive staff. Pricing was very reasonable for the serving size. Will definitely return! read more

The customer service is horrible. The food is horrible and the prices are to much. I went 1 time and that's it for me. Then I asked people around what they thought and they say the same. They can't get the orders right and my son found a mosquito in his sandwich. Good thing he opened and found it. Then they wouldn't give back his money. Horrible place!!! Oh, and the horrible service I got was from Ben the owner. He knows nothing about running a business or about customer service. I'm sure he won't last very long here. read more
