Espresso: very good for esp for Utah. Service: the young gal working was so sweet. Location: The actually coffeeshop was incredibly HARD to find. Don't be fooled by Maps... the shop is located inside the property not street facing. But the inside of the shop was quaint, cozy, and beautifully designed. If I'm in the area again, I'd go back!

Honestly so psyched about this place. I've longed for a cute dessert place in the area for years... the time has come and we finally have one! First off- the inside is darling. Overall, I really appreciate what they have done to this hotel. Before I was a little nervous to step foot anywhere near The Homestead because it was so old and musty. Now, everything feels totally elevated and inviting. When it comes to the food- I only got around to trying the ice cream. I got the almond ice cream with blood orange olive oil and Himalayan salt- the flavors were so unique and already has me thinking about my next visit. This place is fun because it offers something for everyone- ice cream, cakes, pastries, cookies, coffee. Really excited to return!

Really nice cute little place. In winter, hidden behind mounds of snow. Modern decor throughout. I feel like it could have been better. Perhaps the batista was new but the coffee was weak more cream then coffee and the peppermint mocha was sans peppermint but made to proper kids temp, so that's a huge plus. Took some time as only one batista. Worth one more try

Loved the staff and their suggestions. The ice-cream was rich and divine. Will be back!

A beautiful little cafe tucked back in the parking lot of the homestead. I had a very tasty chai latte & cinnamon latte. My family enjoyed varies ice creams like honey and almond. Pro tip .. take the first turn into the homestead hotel parking lot.. not the second. Drive the whole way to the back. If all else fails ask the hotel desk where to find it. It's pretty tucked away.

    Stunning interior!

Best coffee in town hands down. The baristas are always so sweet even when lines are out the door.

Not a lot of food/drink choices. Staff was not as knowledgeable about products but service was efficient. It did have a quaint ambiance.

The ice cream is insane. They have it churning right in front of you, and it's by far the creamiest ice cream I've ever tasted. Incredible.

YIKES!! Did I just ice cream?!?! With that being said, I am human and I do enjoy the unhealthier choices from time to time. Well, I discovered Rebel Ice Cream!! It has clean ingredients and tastes DELICIOUS as well! There's pistachio, peanut butter caramel chip, orange cream, snickerdoodle, chocolate peanut butter, banana peanut butter, triple chocolate, salted caramel, cherry chip, cookies and cream, butter pecan, mint chip, cookie dough, peanut butter cup, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, coffee chip, and chocolate caramel nut. Not all of these flavors are in the grocery store. Each store seems to stock their best sellers. Sometimes, I have to go to two different stores to stock up on my favorites!! Overall, I like to stock up on pistachio, mint chip, coffee chip, cherry chip, chocolate peanut butter, and butter pecan. It's a little pricey for the pint. When it's on sale, I kind of over buy!

Rebel Creamery figured out how to do it, offering pints of ice cream with less than 8 grams of carbs per serving. Some are as low as FOUR grams. That's why it is my dessert of choice! Cream, egg yolks, erythritol (sugar alcohol, which the human body can't digest), monk fruit, milk proteins, natural flavors. And of course, the inclusions that make for the different flavors. Peppermint Chip, Peanut Butter Caramel, Orange, Salted Caramel, Coconut Almond Swirl, Black Raspberry, Cookie Dough, Coffee Chip, and my personal favorite, Butter Pecan which is rated at 4 grams of net carbs per serving. I've found Rebel in my Publix ice cream freezer and sometimes at a Kroger (Harris-Teeter) but it's also distributed through Walmart and H-E-B and Food Lion. I can usually make a pint last a week if I'm really good. https://rebelcreamery.com/pages/where has a map of stores that sell it. They'll also ship it to you but that's the spendy way. If you're on keto? Get some. [Review 16519 overall - 61 in Utah - 28 of 2022.]

We rented an Alpenglobe, which costs an additional $35 for the weekdays and $50 for the weekend. It's one of those temperature controlled outdoor bubble structures that has a cute chandelier inside. We had fun, and the rain in the background made it even more fun. For appetizers, we shared the Bruschetta, which was well crafted and had good flavor. I had the Quattro Formaggi pizza with pepperoni added, which tasted amazing. My husband loved his Lasagna, which matched the description of "Meaty and American." My daughter scarfed down her spaghetti and garlic bread. We paired our meal with a bottle of Pino Grigio. My husband loved his Tirimisu as well, and my daughter got the largest "small" portion of ice cream that I've ever seen. Our meal came out to around $150 before tip, which wasn't bad for all the food we ordered. We left with a few boxes of leftovers. We'll be back.

One unique feature of this restaurant is the option (when available) to dine inside a yurt (some call it a "snow globe") for an additional $35. I'm honestly glad I chose not to do that. The food was average at best, and I would have been disappointed if I had paid extra for the yurt experience on top of it. As for the food, the Caesar salad was terrible! It barely qualified as a Caesar--yes, it had romaine lettuce, but the plate and salad were warm, it included tomatoes and onions (which don't belong in a traditional Caesar), and the dressing tasted like it came straight from a bottle. The mac and cheese, meatballs, and pizza were all just average as well.
