Where do we even begin! I guess I should start by saying we were in town for the week for a bachelorette trip and this was one of three restaurants we were considering for dinner. This restaurant is nestled right off the mountain in the resort area. There is a parking garage right underneath the struture that offered complimentary parking for the first 90 minutes. From there it was a quick elevator ride up to the restaurant level where there was live music and a few stores to shop at. Once we got to the restaurant, we were seated on the patio where we were able to enjoy the live music and the beautiful weather outside. Shortly after we were greeted by Juan and Sebastian who ended up making our night extra remarkable. For drinks, majority of the table got a spiked horchata. It was the perfect mix of horchata with a side of tequila. :) We started the evening with guacamole and salsa brought to the table. The Guacamole was the perfect blend of avocado and various flavors. The chips were nice and crunch were not overly salted. For my entree I got the pesca tacos, the first was my most preferable where it is one solid piece as opposed to a bunch of small pieces with a bit of slaw and salsa on top. A few of us decided to do some tradsies and I was also able to try the carne asada as well. Sebastian was super well attentive and made sure we had everything we needed along the way. Juan also checked on us several times to make sure we got everything we needed. All in all, we had an incredible time and I can't wait to come back and visit when I'm in town again.

Great food, great service. Loved this restaurant. Food was very flavorful and prepared well. Had the steak fajitas which were cooked perfectly. Waiter Michael was very nice and had great energy.

Our 3rd day in Park City... It was snowing a lot and we didn't feel like taking the shuttle to main street for dinner, so we decided to stay in Canyons Village and check out Dos Olas Cantina. They let us in 5-minutes before they opened their restaurant because we were shivering in the snow, which was nice of them. Atmosphere was clean and cozy. Food: * Complimentary chips and salsa: chips had a great texture and flavor. One sauce had some spice and the other one was salty. Both were great together. * Carne Asada Tacos: a bit bland for me and the steak was overcooked and dry * Shrimp Fajitas: Shrimp by itself was super salty, but after wrapping it in the tortillas with the rice and beans-- perfection. I just wish they provided some more condiments/sauces with the food. Drinks: Watermelon Basil Margarita- PERFECTION! I don't even like Tequila, but this margarita was refreshing. Not too sweet. No limey artificial after taste either. Loved it! Gender Neutral Bathroom Friendly staff Great atmosphere Located across The Pendry hotel

Mahi-mahi tacos, crispy tempura batter and black beans and rice on the side

Nice dinner out to start off the weekend. Chips and salsa were the highlight for sure!! Margaritas were good, but kinda sour. My husband got the mahi-mahi tacos. He said the tempura batter was light and crisp!! I got the Tinga chipotle tacos. Really nice flavor! Black beans and rice were good too. I love spicy food so I asked for hot sauce on the side. So glad it was on the side!! Probably the hottest I've ever had! I even burnt my tongue, so be cautious! For dessert we shared sorbet: mango, hibiscus and tamarind. Not too bad for a Mexican restaurant in a hotel in Park City.

The ceviche was good, but don't order the taco salad. It is only lettuce and protein.

The food was so mediocre. I was very disappointed. And of course pricey which would have been fine if it had been good.

Including cleaning the grill to avoid cross contamination as well as giving us a safe substitution of chips for our appetizers. The food itself was incredibly flavorful and authentic. Carne asada was so tender and juicy and the ceviche was surprisingly tasty. The restaurant itself was well decorated and an open kitchen concept as well which is so fun. And the presentation of their drinks and food cannot be beat. Each item is beautifully offered. I mean, this was the most beautiful guacamole I have ever seen and it tasted great with the sweet, tangy, and spicy sauce served alongside. The service was quite good as the staff worked together to make sure to take care of us. We loved our meals (and even the leftovers were great). My burger was flavorful and juicy enough that a napkin was required. If is was to ask for one thing, it would have been stronger flavor profiles for their speciality drinks. They were good, just a little on the weak side. We will be back.

I hoped the food would match, but it missed the mark. The menu items we tried were definitely more miss than hit. First, theirs is not a true quesabirria taco, not even close. Heavy on clumpy, wet birria, we could barely see nor taste the micro amount of cheese. Flavor of the beef was fine, if on the strong side, with an included small cup of tasty consommé..But again, not quesabirria. Their "el trompo" al pastor seemed promising, I mean this is a chef driven restaurant after all, but it was another fail. Al pastor was not good at all, much too tough, with very little flavor, and in need of more sauciness. Last I tried was their carnitas, which finally had the right tender texture, but again not enough flavor. Tacos here are stuffed full of meat, and have pretty good, freshly crisped tortillas. Most of them are priced at $3.25. On Taco Tuesday they used to be $1.50 each, but was recently raised to $2.50..Which is the average cost of any authentic taco elsewhere these days, so not a good deal. Though I will add, the four salsas in their salsa bar are very well made and do help some. But for a modern taco place like this I just expect more all around. Their "chef" needs to try a couple of competitors like Tacos Lopez or El Morelense and taste what theirs should be nearer to. Or even better, an actual quesabirria taco - griddled and filled with much more gooey cheese (and less meat), like mini quesadillas (they do them right at Del Barrio Cafe). Unless these recipes get an overhaul, I won't likely be back.
