Never come here. For the first time in my life I will say avoid this place at all cost! You will be treated poorly and waste your money and time. I was told this place has the best wings and I took my family who just moved here to try it and will never return. We entered and the place had only one table. It took 15 minutes to get our party of 9 waters and a beer. When my mom ordered a beer it took 25 minutes to get her beer. We placed our order and it took 57 minutes for the first item to make it to the table. What came first was the kids pizza and fries which the fries came frozen and not even cooked. The pizza the kids said was disgusting and all 3 refused to eat it. They took a bite and spit it out. Then about 10 minutes later we got our wings and sandwiches. We ordered steak tacos and they gave us chicken. We ordered a chicken tender sandwich no ranch and it was drowning in ranch. We ordered a pork sandwich and the pork was cold and nasty. Ordered a burger and tasted like the grill hasn't been cleaned in months , the burger gave my brother a severe stomach ache. He said it was worse then a Wendy's burger. When we told the server she apologized and said they have a new chef she doesn't know what's going on. She asked if want it remade and we said no. It took an hour and everything was wrong. We shared 17 wings amongst 9 people two being pregnant that are due within 6 weeks. It was the worse experience. The server didn't charge me for the food made wrong or the pizza but made us pay for everything else even though it wasn't eaten. We had the bill split in two. One for my family and one for my brother. Then when I asked why the bill was higher then expected she said theirs an automatic gratuity added and she can't do anything about it because we are a large party. So she got an automatic 20% tip and didnt inform me without asking. Working in restaurant industries in my early days I was taught it's the law to notify the table. When we left I asked my brother why he paid $10 in cash and not all on card. He said he gave that as a tip. I said on top of the gratuity. He said he didn't know their was one. He went back in and said I tipped you on a gratuity why didn't you tell me. She said I told the other guy didn't you hear. He said I paid first how would have I heard when you were across the table. I worked a long day and I just wanted to go to a place within walking distance that had good comfort food. I ordered an oink and cluck combo that came with 2 hog wings and 5 lemon pepper dry rub chicken wings. This combo comes with one side so I chose a side salad with ranch. The hog wings are interesting in that they are pieces of bone-in pork that is meant to be like chicken wings but made of pork. It was interesting and also tasty. I chose the cajun spice dry rub for the hog wings and it was delicious and not too salty. The lemon pepper dry rub for the chicken wings were very tasty and not too overpowering. First thing my coworker and myself noticed was how much the cleanliness of the restaurant had degraded from previous experiences. I had an absolute blast here. This was the second karaoke Tuesday, so the word hasn't spread yet, but even for the very few people here.. the staff made it a very very memorable, entertaining night. It's crazy it took 45 mins to get our food, as we watched our food die in the window the chips were soggy and under cooked, the boneless wings were so over cooked it was like chewing a rubber ball, I had two just too make sure that it wasn't just a bad wing but I was wrong they all sucked. I wish I could have reviewed the food, but we never got the chance. My husband, baby and I walked in and stood waiting to be sat. It took a minute to realize we needed to seat ourselves. Since we had a baby, the high tops wouldn't work. So we did sit at a larger table. We love WingNutz in Ogden and come here at least once a week. The staff is always friendly and fast. Try the chicken strips with either the curry or honey BBQ. Mixed buffalo chips are great too. Everything is baked not fried in grease so it is a much healthier option for those of us who are wing fanatics. Wraps are okay but seem to have less meat and mostly lettuce/veggies. With homemade sauces rather than some bottled/canned junk, a great draft & canned beer selection, a full bar, and phenomenal staff, it truly is our "go to". We have seen many of the names and faces of the cooks, servers & managers change over those years. We have loved all of them! We're super excited to see the positive changes that the new GM, James is making. James used to start our order in the kitchen as soon as we walked in the door. Pretty awesome for the cook to see you walk-in and know what your order is and get it going! Although he was gone for awhile, he still remembered us when we walked in the door again--IMPRESSIVE! We came for lunch on a Monday- our server was Kat, and the service was fantastic. I tried the buffalo chips, the grinch, spicy sweetie lime, hallow curry, and the C-4 bone in wings, as well as the chicken tender sandwich with the zestycue sauce! We were helped right away. The wait for food to come out is a little bit because baking takes longer than frying, but the wait is so worth it. Everything we tried was phenomenal. My personal favorite was the Grinch sauce from the secret menu. Ask to see the secret menu/list- it's phenomenal, and multiple friends have spreadsheets of ratings for each sauce. As far as selection and flavors of wings, this place is the "spot" in Ogden. We've been on several ocassions and have tried several of their sauces and have been happy with our order each and every time. The fact that the wings are baked instead of fried also eases my mind a little bit about them not being quite so bad for you. (I know, worrying about the health of chicken wings is a lost cause.) The honey jalepeno sauce is a personal favorite and the "hot" setting is just enough to warm you up and still leave taste buds intact. I am also a big fan of their Quesadillas. Cheese, meat, and tortilla should be a simple combination but this place has put some twists in to it with flavored wraps and sauces that leave you satisfied. The salads on the menu are very flavorful with all kinds of little extras like cranberries, walnuts, and veggies that should be legally required in all salads. If you're going to order something as boring as a salad, it might as well have some flair to it. One thing I really like about this place is the size of their drink glasses. When you order an iced tea or soda, there's actually a good amount in the glass. They are oversized which keeps the thirst away between wait staff visits and keeps you quenched. The only deduction I would give is for a poor ventilation system that was part of the building's design. The air movement in the restaurant isn't adequate and it can get a bit "smoggy" in the winter time when the doors cannot be propped open. Opening the doors and the nice, ambient patio provides relief in the warmer months and should NOT be a detractor from a visit to this place. read more

I am on a search for the best wing in the nation & I must say that Wing Nuts falls well short of a place that I will visit again (especially with the City Club a few blocks away & has one of the best wings I have ever had). The wings are not fried, which I like the idea of a healthier wing... but the wing are horrible & overpriced. The sauces are great and help the taste... But again, they fall well short of a decent chicken wing. We tried a few wraps and a sampler platter which gives you a little of everything & all I can say is Yuck! I do like the establishment.
