Hostess and "general Manager. Not accommodating and confirtationsal! Food was a 2 out of 10. I'm Pretty sure their aggressive nature didn't not help the food rating! So here we go...So a big group of us went to the shooting star first and after talking all together we decided we would go to Carlos and Harleys instead for a late lunch. We all traveled from different places and wanted to try somewhere most people hadn't been. As soon as we walked through the door the hostess, Renee treated us awful!! We had 2 other people that had to make a quick stop and because they were not there they wouldn't seat us. Everyone was starving so we just told them to seat the 10 of us for that moment. Again Renee acted like we were putting her out because we said just go ahead and seat us. Not even 10 minutes later the other couple showed up and we asked to add an extra table. Renee stormed out, as we all watched to go talk to her manager. The bartender was so sweet and came to add the extra table. A few minutes later we were approached by the manger Janelle and she aggressively asked who wanted to speak to the manager. Which we never requested. She then argued with us about how many people we said we had in our group. RENEE knew we were waiting for 2 more! But Janelle wanted to argue with us instead of apologizing for the way her employee treated us! Most of us only ended up ordering appetizers to get us through because we were all hungry. We were very tempted to just leave and if we wouldn't have had so many people we would have! Service was good and so was the drinks. The bartender was just awesome, I didnt get his name. I never write reviews but I felt like this was a story that needed to be told! We will not be going back there again! read more

First time at this establishment and found it to be great. Have said many times that I needed to try this place and we finally did. The place is very large with two main dining rooms and two bars. We were seated immediately and provided with water. We both ordered their margaritas and they were very good. I ordered the enchiladas and my wife had the shrimp tacos. Each order came with three items, three tacos, rice, and beans. Same for my enchiladas. So portions are very large as we could not finish and required a doggie bag. Service was great and portion size v. price is great. Glad we stopped and we will be going back often. read more

Terrible Service. we were the only ones in the bar area and only 1 table in the restaurant area. No one came to check on us. We had to go find someone to check out. First time in Eden, so found out food options are limited. However, was very glad to find this place via friends' recs even if it was pricey. The chips, guac, & quesadilla were pretty yummy. Thought the Carne Asada tacos were decent (kind of chewy meat). The skinny margarita hit the spot and was not overly sweet! Would come back and try the enchiladas or burrito. read more

Located in the former general store in The small town of Eden, UT, the restaurant has a variety of places to eat: inside, outside, main dining room and bar. I ordered the chicken tinga tacos which were wonderful. The shredded chicken and pickled onions had just the right amount of spice and were enough without additional beans and rice. We split meals so I also had their shredded beef chimichanga, which was also yummy. It's important to note that the tortillas are cooked on site so both of our meals had that marvelous flavor of fresh tortillas. The service was great and our server attentive. We just visited for dinner. First, the service was good. The food was not good at all. The salsa we paid extra for was marginal at best. The fajitas were dry and not flavorful. The beans and rice were also dry. The guacamole seemed store bought. My $18 margarita was good. The price and the food quality did not match. Also, there used to be a really cute shop next door. It is gone. We would drive up for dinner and visit the shop but now that it is gone there is no reason to pay so much for bad food. read more

Great to have this restaurant in town! The food was delicious - we had the chimichangas and the salmon tacos. The flavors were really good, and the salmon was a healthy choice. The chips and salsa were so addictive! They were definitely slammed because of the unexpected winter weather rush. It took a little while to get a table, but it was worth it.It must be a challenge working with a small staff, but they still managed to create a great meal and served it fairly quickly. Definitely a must-try when you're in Huntsville. The building itself is also really historical. read more

Food is so good! This one guy always remembers me and my family because of this one drink my mom made called the teripeta idk how it's spelt but they always are so kind and Zack always is so funny and olive is so sweet and kind! The place was clean miss the grandpa mannequin by the bathroom though but it's okay they do need to bring some things back on the menu but everything was a fun experience! Weirdest experience! The hostess and manager do not know how to treat customers. Well I was always taught the customer is always right. Janelle wanted to argue how many people we had in our group when the hostess , renee knows we said 12 to begin with. There was nobody waiting in line, there was barely anyone at the restaurant and we were told we couldn't be seated until our entire group was there?! The last 2 people were 10 mins away and we just wanted to get seated! Shame on the owners for requiring the entire party to be there before getting seated! I could maybe understand if the place was packed! It makes your employees treat customers like shit! Ruined our entire groups experience and 8 of the 12 had never been there! They won't return thats for sure. Renee should not be the first person to greet you at a restaurant thats for sure!! What a great meal! The people were super friendly (our waiter Zach was awesome), and everything we ordered we liked. The nachos were just the right amount of heat, and the enchiladas, quesadillas and the shrimp fajitas were large portions and delicious. Totally recommend!!! read more

Loved this place! I assumed there was no good food or service in Eden but then I found this place. The food was so good and the service was good for Eden. Was not happy at all with the food. Would highly recommend going some place else. Too salty, over-priced, and not good. Son's chicken tenders were ice cold inside, daughter's cheese nachos were burned, and our shredded beef chimichanga was pretty much all beans inside. Our server was very solid but much of the staff were not very friendly. We waited for 5 minutes upon arrival with several folks walking by and not even acknowledging we were there waiting to be seated. What a cute place! Ordered burger and fries and they were very good. Liked the fry sauce for the fries. Others ordered the enchiladas which were extremely salty, and my wife loves salt and so does my sister, but they said they were almost inedibly salty, which is saying something for them! But the chicken and beef inside the enchiladas was tasty. Rice was dry but refried beans good. No chips or salsa provided. Expensive. Service nice. read more

Was excited to go here heard it was good from the host at my Airbnb. Loved the atmosphere, themusic and vibe. Right away the came and sat me and i got my Margherita right away. Ordered and within 5 minutes my food was there. That always makes me leary when a sit down restaurant has my food way too soon. And unfortunately I was right the beans looked like runny soup and the rice was hard. The enchiladas where luke warm at best. I did however like the Margherita but not one person came to my table until I asked one of them to get my check. Then the girl made an excuse of why i hadn't seen anyone for at least 40 min. It was my 60 b day so it truelly doesnt upset me or surprise me. I did however notice the people who came after me Their food took longer and all of the plates looked really good. Found this place when we were out for a drive .. wish we wouldn't kept driving! Atmosphere of the place was very nice n they have patio dining. I keep thinking this will get better but it doesn't. Today's veggie tacos included only one ingredient from the menu description. The kid chicken tenders were so overcooked but the service was so slow that we didn't dare risk sending back and deal with a hangry kid. The nachos were dry and unimpressive. What a hidden gem!! I've lived in Ogden most of my life and I've never been here before, and I can't wait to come back. The bar area is huge, a great spot to watch any games or have a big group of people. I highly suggest the chili Poblano soup with crab meat, it's thicker and loaded with flavor! We also got the Cabo shrimp salad with the tequila lime dressing and 3 street tacos (shrimp, fish, asada). I tried to convince my wife to order more tacos to take home because they were so good. Don't hesitate to try this spot especially after a day of skiing at powder mountain or Snowbasin! read more

The food here used to be excellent, high quality and visually appealing, but now the food is different and a lot of it looks like unidentifiable slop with taste to match. Service is great and friendly but please bring back the old menu and ingredients, and dismiss whomever was responsible for the changes. read more

Our waitress was very accommodating, pleasant, and well-versed on the menu. The staff overall was great and welcoming. The downside, however, was the food. My wife's meal came out cold, we sent it back, and unfortunately it still returned cold. That was disappointing, especially since the restaurant has such high ratings. Friendly service, and good Mexican food. Chimichanga was substantial, and house margaritas a good deal. They have a hotter salsa you can ask for, really good. Unfortunately, seated right under their loud speaker meant listening to explicit lyrics all dinner long with our kids. Not my scene, but if you dig F-bombs with your chips, maybe? Got into Eden and we were hungry and needed a cocktail after our long drive. This adorable restaurant popped up and we are so happy we did. Friendly staff and the salsa is delicious. If you aren't familiar with Utah laws, there is a separate bar from the restaurant, but you are served cocktails in the restaurant (thank goodness). We had an amazing server names Sequoia. If your in the neighborhood and need a good drink and food, I would stop here first! Oh and this last piece is my favorite the artwork is cute! read more

I'm going to review them bc they have improved a lot! Yes the prices are expensive... but it's a local sit down place and the redecorating has really elevated this place! I brought a huge group in and asked them to reserve an area for us and they accommodated with no problem! Jake is awesome! And so helpful! The green iguana drink is delicious, can you serve by the pitcher?? Haha Love the soup (it does taste a little like the sea so be prepared for that! But I actually like seafood so it wasn't a problem, my husband doesn't and wasn't expecting those flavors...) The carnitas are good but I do wish they had a sauce or something that they came with. Maybe an avocado, cilantro, lime sauce... I have a great recipe of ya need one! We had been here once before. It was ok but we remember the rice being crunchy. Well this time it was for a family members birthday party. We were a party of 13 with 5 of them being children and we sat out on the patio. Our waitress was great, super friendly. But my husband is very specific when he orders... he wanted a plain chicken taco with meat and cheese only, and a bean and cheese burrito with cheese on top... well the taco came out with pico in it, so she said just keep that one and I'll have them make a fresh on. We had also ordered 3 Mac n cheese kids meals but they came back and said they only had enough for 1 Mac n cheese and we needed to pick 2 other kids dishes which became an issue with the kids. Well his burrito finally came out and was covered in sour cream which he will not touch. The waitress took it back and brought him out "another" burrito. Which he's positive was just thrown under the boiler with cheese on top to cover the sour cream. He wouldn't touch it. Come to find out the burrito that was supposed to be just a bean and cheese burrito had rice in it too.... Our bill with the $30+ added gratuity was almost $200.... And that is the last time we will be there. No Mexican food is worth that when they can't even make a simple bean and cheese burrito. read more

We were looking for a place to watch the Super Bowl, and folks were saying that this place had TVs. They sure do, and from every angle! It's a very "hole in the wall" type of place; eclectic and fun to look around. It used to be a general store in the 1800s, so lots of history here. The food was much better than I expected, all of their meats were super delicious, the fajita beef was flavorful tender and full of peppers and onions, and the other steak taco was also good. The only thing that wasn't loved fully with my friends chicken fajita, she said the chicken wasn't the best she's had, but she still ate it all. I got a box thrown at me to put my kids leftovers in..? And They'll just charge your card without you seeing the bill as well. Just not for going there anymore due to that.
