This place is fantastic, tuck in some forgotten corner of a strip mall. This place is located is a weird area next to the freeway. It's very easy to miss this lovely gem. The food is great. It's actually quite flavorful and not some water down and unseasonably spot. They don't stop. They go all in with their best shot, giving you only the best of the best in the layton region and the Davis County. I recommend the ramen noodles. I also like their seafood fried rice. This is my second time back and it did not disappoint. I wish I could've given you a picture to refer back to, but that's how good it was as soon as it came out, we were head deep into our Ramen bowls. Think of this place as your local corner five star hidden gem. That's what this place is we had the curry Ramen and spicy curry Ramen bowls, which were so good. We also got a gyoza app which was cooked perfectly. The food tasted great! I love the variety and long list of add-on options. The server was new and we had a language barrier which caused a lag of time between our appetizers and ultimately them bringing one of our three apps after our main courses arrived, even though we didn't order the mains until after the first two apps arrived so as to avoid this from happening. We asked for extra napkins and received 2. Soup and steamed dumplings can be messy. Another server came over afterwards and said that she's new. We decided to try Haru Ramen for dinner since I was craving ramen on a cold wintery day. Food and Drink: 1. Tonkotsu Ramen: it was okay. We would give it a 6/10. The broth wasn't as creamy as it should have been. The portion was perfect though! 2. Seafood Ramen: this was a miss for us. We would rate this a 4/10. Some of the seafood was chewy and the broth felt like it was just water with no flavor...so just hot water. 3. We also got some hot tea which was perfect for the cold weather. This was a 10/10. Atmosphere: big space with really quiet music. It was a bit too quiet where tables around us didn't want to talk loud. I have been to Haru Ramen a few times now and will continue to go back. It is a quiet and intimate location, and the service is fast. I have gotten vegetable ramen each time I have gone, and it has been consistently good. The vegetables are super fresh (it comes with broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, and cabbage), and the noodles are perfectly cooked. The broth is not as flavorful as some other ramen shops I have been to in the past, but it is a nice base. There is also a nice chili oil if you want to add a little extra zest. My husband really enjoyed his chicken udon. We will definitely go there again. My only complaint is that (1) they gave me a text saying the food would be done between 20 and 40 minutes, I wish they just gave one time and (2) I stood at the hostess desk for 10 minutes before someone finally came out from the back to help me. It turned out that our food was sitting behind it the whole time so by the time I got home it was cold and needed to be reheated. Maybe a better system for take out could be created. A bowl of ramen is the last thing I thought I would remember when visiting Ogden Utah, however, it became the most memorable part of my trip when visiting. I ordered delivery. Curry ramen for myself and chicken fried rice for my one year old. The food was well prepped for delivery and everything was delicious. I expected the curry to have more spice, but it was very mild. The ramen noodles were thick and delicious. The eggs held up well for not being served on site. The fried rice was very average and I did not find a single piece of chicken in it. My son ate it and I enjoyed some as well. It didn't go to waste and I would still order it again. However, as their name states... this place shines with their ramen. I look forward to trying other broths. Basic and bland, not the spot. Still trying to find a good ramen spot in the Ogden area, this place is overpriced and not worth it.

Stopped in way later then I should have. I don't know if it's the old service industry in me but I hate to go in to a place when they close in less than an hour, I know everyone is just trying to go home. I asked if it was too late for me to sit and they sat me with a very cheerful attitude, and brought me my water immediately. I had already scoped the menu and pictures on here so I knew what I wanted. Seaweed salad was INCREDIBLE and was brought out quickly. I inhaled it while leaving puddles of drool (seriously- so so good) on the table. They brought my spicy veggie ramen out as I had one bite of salad left, perfect timing. The menu said "seasonal veggies" and it had a good mix of all the things you would assume you would find in a veggie ramen. There is a list on the side of the menu for add ons and I added fried onions to mine. Helpful suggestion to my fellow vegans- ask for no egg. It doesn't say it on the menu! I just picked mine out and put them on my licked clean salad plate, no big deal. As far as spice is concerned, I have a super high tolerance so the heat in the dish was perfectly tolerable. I added chili oil and the pepper flake mix on the table after taking a couple bites to enjoy the original flavor of the broth. Let me tell y'all- the pepper flakes at this place are no joke. It's not the kind you get in packets at a pizza place- they're the real deal. They kicked my a$$ to be honest, had me tearing up and coughing- had everyone in their thinking I had COVID. But it was soooo so so so good. I literally wanted to lick my bowl clean but my face was already wet from the tears of me choking on spice. I only have one more week left in this city and I'll for sure be back for this same exact combo.
