Food was fresh and perfectly made. Flavored greatly. Nothing soggy or watery here. Chicken lo mein, schezwan pork, sweet and sour chicken, all combos paired with choice of sour sweet soup or egg drop soup, ham fried rice and a veggie egg roll. Haven't had good Chinese food for a long time. This place hit the spot. You just have to give it a try. My pork was crispy with a nice coating of schezwan sauce with the hints of fresh green onions paired greatly. Lo mein noodles was bomb. We will be going back. Ham fried rice was not dry like other places nice cut cubed ham visible throughout. Egg drop soup is loaded, not just out typical cornstarch with egg white. This has that and more with pieces of corn and a lil ground meat. Flavorful for this cold front occurring. Delicious!! Service the guy was coo and friendly. Ambiance it was closing so it was quiet. Every now and then I get an intense craving for Chinese food and last night, I had been letting the craving build for days. This is my second time to this restaurant, both times I have ordered for take out. Last night's order was two dinner combinations - beef & broccoli and szechuan chicken. While I love their hot and sour soup, I opted for an extra egg roll instead. It was ready in 10 minutes and I was in and out with hot and fresh food. Everyone there is so nice and welcoming, and even willing to help recommend their favorite dishes! When I say the beef and broccoli was phenomenal - I mean, hands down, absolutely delicious and flavorful. I'm sorry but this place is not clean. Neither are the employees. Your sushi makers are sitting on buckets eating whatever it was over a trash can, near where they prepare your food. It's messy. The food here is decent, but it's the prices that pull you in. I got a combo dinner complete with sides of fried rice, egg roll, egg drop soup, and orange chicken. The price and portion are worth it, two can dine with one combo dinner. I got the shrimp lo mein but it didn't satisfy my cravings as I hoped it would. The egg drop soup on the other hand was memorable and delicious! The egg roll was standard and yummy. The orange chicken was okay. But the main dish and the fried rice could use some work. Every time I'm in Ogden and if I remember, I take advantage of the opportunity to pick up Golden Jade as a surprise, it's not going to blow your mind, necessarily, but it's always good, there's so many places like Golden Jade, none have been as good, let alone consistently good. Tried this place while heading back to SLC. I visited Weber State University for some business and was hungry. Place was clean and staff friendly, we ate with paper plates but was convenient. Hands down the best Chinese food in Ogden. No other place has this much flavor at this price point. You can taste the quality in all the dishes. Been coming to this place for 15 years and it always satisfies my Chinese craving. We just happened to stop here because we were craving Chinese food and wanted something close to home. This place by far is absolutely the best place in Weber county. The food was made fresh to order which was amazing. I had the broccoli shrimp and it was so so so so delicious. The broccoli was fresh and not soggy and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The egg drop soup was the best egg drop soup I have ever eaten. It has lots of egg, corn, and small bits of chicken. It was delicious. The portions are big. We ended up having leftovers. Which was great to take home. On top of the amazing food there was absolutely amazing customer service. They are very customer oriented and attentive. First of, the service is spot on, we felt super welcomed and the owner is very attending. Food is hugely portioned and the price is even cheaper than I expected. This restaurant is probably my favorite go to Chinese place. Food is always made quick and tastes amazing. I've never had a bad meal here. This place is way better than the national fast food chain Chinese that shall remain nameless. I can call them from my job as I'm leaving to go there, which is about a mile away, and by the time I arrive to pick up my order it is ready to go. I've dined in before and it's a different experience with everything being served on disposable plates with plastic utensils. However I've had nothing but great service every time I dine in. We thought we'd try this place because the reviews seemed positive. The first clue was the mountain of styrofoam when we walked in the door. Should have turned around then, but wanted to give them a try. I was excited because there were no white people working there, so I was still hopeful. Maybe they thought white people don't know what they should expect? Anyway, ordered tea, an egg roll, chicken lo mein, and Szechuan pork. The food came out before the tea. Not good. The egg roll was ok, decent but missing flavor and was pretty small. The chicken itself was tender, the noodles were oily and tasted mostly like soy sauce and it was only lukewarm. The Szechuan pork was a little sweet, a little spicy, a little tangy, good flavor but the breading was thick and had a cafeteria--type texture. Insult to injury, one of the employees was whistling. Maybe some people enjoy this, others find it painful. Overall, this place is probably good for drunk college kids, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. read more

Wait, am I missing something? This food is good and it's a great value, but it's definitely not the best Chinese I've had in Ogden. I've had many friends recommend this place so I was excited to finally give it a shot. When my husband ordered the food he was greeted by an incredibly friendly lady. The service was incredible. We got more than enough food for two people for less than $10. We ordered the Mongolian chicken dinner combination which also comes with ham fried rice, wonton, egg roll, sweet and sour chicken, and egg drop soup. Oh, and it was done in 5 minutes (maybe this is part of the problem?) Great service. Great value. Decent food. Here's my problems with our food: 1) the ham fried rice was pretty much just rice. There was hardly any ham or egg in it and there wasn't any veggies. 2) my Mongolian chicken had a lot of beef accidentally mixed in to it. 3) the Mongolian chicken was half carrots and onions - which weren't cooked well so we ate the chicken and tossed the rest. 4) the sweet and sour chicken was soggy. Because of the incredible price, I'll try it again. My typical Chinese take out place is about 30% more. However, this place wasn't as good (this time anyway). This place is eerily fast. Like, call in your order and it is ready to go in less than 10 minutes fast. I thought that would take away from the quality but found that the Hot n Spicy truly was hot n spicy. The Tso's chicken was fantastic and the wife loved the Kung Pao chicken. The crab wontons were a win but the egg rolls were a bit bland. The dining room is small and eating in might be a challenge on a busy night. IT appeared most of the food was coming from steam tables but the pace of the business kept everything we ordered pretty fresh. Pricing is extremely reasonable and the staff friendly.
