The Corner Noodle has been a staple for our girls' craft night and the take-out is always on point. They do a great job providing delicious meals at a fair price. The dining area is quaint with a small business vibe. I love the fish tanks up at the counter and the friendly staff. The pad see ew was more like an all inclusive stir fry and my drunken noodles were okay. I got my drunken noodles at a 4 and I was happy with the spice level. First of all, let's talk service. This place is your neighborhood restaurant where the owners know everyone's name. We came in and started chatting with the folks inside about living in Utah and cool places to check out. They were extremely friendly and spent time making sure our experience was perfect. My son, who is 4, loved the food and they made accommodations to keep the spice level down on his meal. Now for the food. Who knew great Thai food could be found inside Utah? I for sure did not but was happy to learn how the owner migrated from Thailand to the US in the 70's and traveled around the country through his military service. Eventually they ended up in Utah and decided to open a mom and pop Thai restaurant. It doesnt get realer than that. I ordered the panang curry and it was delicious. The spice level was just right, leaving me grabbing for multiple glasses of water. For an appetizer we had crab rangoons with a sweet chili sauce. Everything was cooked absolutely perfectly and affordable at that. I can't tell you the next time I'll be in Utah, but I know where I'll be heading to when I'm in town. read more

This was definitely a great find. A bit of a drive from where my colleague and I were working in Layton, but worth the trip. This venue is somewhat small and only seats around 30-40 people, although I thought it said 52. Located in a small strip mall. It looks to be family run. You seat yourself and the owner comes over to take your order. I had the Pad Thai with shrimp which was fantastic. Great flavor on the rice noodles and plenty of shrimp. This is a pretty casual, little Thai restaurant on a strip mall in Syracuse. We stopped in and got their sampler appetizer which comes with two items of each appetizer (two egg rolls, two dumplings, two chicken satays, etc). It was a delicious and inexpensive way to try everything. The crab and cheese wontons were our favorite. We also ordered pad see ew and pad kee mao (drunken noodles). Both were really good. We loved the sauce of the pad see ew but also enjoyed the spice that the drunken noodles had. Prices are incredible. All of that food was only a little over $20! Service was fast and good. DO NOT order the noodle soups! The most bland and flavorless noodle soup I have ever eaten in my life. Meats tasted like it was boiled in plain water. Pork wontons had no flavor. The broth tasted literally like water, I added so much soy sauce and it was still hard to eat. Completely disappointed because the reviews were so great but it must have been for their other dishes. Mama Noodles or any other cup of noodles from the Asian Market would have tasted better. The chicken satay were tender but also didn't have much flavor. Our favorite was the papaya salad. The staff were amazing, very friendly, outgoing, they made sure i knew the menu, and explained it well to me. So the prices are amazing, but the food comes out enough for more than one person. the food was very delicious, fresh and I really appreciate it honestly. Our service was very fast and great. They literally took care of us. We got two large pho chicken and shrimp, and pork dumplings, and bbq fried rice and pork. The first time I tried to go here, the place was packed. The second time, it was not open, so third time was a charm. I was the only customer however. The staff was very friendly. The menu is limited to one page and most things come with some type of vegetables, which my husband won't eat. I ordered to take out. We tried the pork dumplings which seemed a little dense but tasted good. We also tried the Chicken Pad Thai which was very good. The beef noodles came in two separate containers. One with the beef and broth, and the other with the noodles. Unfortunately the noodles were surrounded with beans sprouts which wasn't good for my husband. The menu didn't say bean sprouts were included. I would go back again for the Pad Thai but I'm not sure my husband will return. read more
