Came yesterday with a friend for lunch, and unfortunately, it was not an ideal experience. To be fair, the food was excellent. The shoyu and tonkotsu ramen are top-notch, and the marinated eggs are delightful. I also look forward to trying the sushi burritos, which looked amazing. The shop itself is cute, cozy, and clean, with accessible parking and entry. However, the service made us feel deeply unwelcome. The friend I took to lunch has an intellectual disability, and her ultimate passions are anime and ramen. Once a month, I take her out for a special meal, and Ramen House was her choice again this month. Our previous visit was fantastic, so I was excited to go back. From the moment we arrived, the server who greeted us seemed annoyed by our presence and seated us in the farthest corner. When taking drink orders, she grew impatient with my friend, repeating the question multiple times rather than giving her space to respond, and when she did respond, the server pointed to the menu, repeating something different than what she asked for, and then ignored the girls response when she repeated her preferred order. When I tried to step in and clarify, the server ignored me and turned back to my friend. The pressure left my friend flustered and confused, and she ultimately just agreed to whatever the server suggested instead of getting what she actually wanted. My friend was talking animatedly throughout lunch. Because she rarely opens up or talks in public, seeing her so expressive was a huge win for me--it meant she felt safe and happy. Yet, the staff seemed visibly bothered. While I understand restaurant environments require balance, her talking wasn't any louder than a table of business professionals having a lively lunch. It simply felt unwelcoming and entirely lacking in basic inclusivity. Throughout the meal, basic service interactions were curt. The server avoided eye contact, displayed impatient body language when I asked for a to-go container, and dropped off the bill unceremoniously with no thank you or polite closing. There was also a long delay before she retrieved the payment--leaving me wondering if I should have walked it to the register myself. It was a stark contrast to the warm experience we had on our first visit. I am sharing this because this is my friend's absolute favorite spot, and since she only gets this outing once a month, I know she will want to return. She deserves to enjoy her favorite meal without us feeling like a burden to the staff. It was truly a heartbreaking experience to witness, and I sincerely hope the management uses this feedback to foster a more patient, welcoming environment for all guests. read more

My wife and I both ordered the bowl of ramen. She got the chicken and I got the pork. We thought the fried sweet potatoes sounded good, turns out they are just sweet potato fries, but the best ones out there. We both loved them. Hot and crunchy on the outside and nice and smooth on the inside - the perfect fry. My wife wanted to try the sweet potato noodles but we both didn't like them, they were a bit slimy. Ramen Garden was so damn excellent the first time, that I went back! Ahhhh...this restaurant really knows how to please it's customers! Not necessarily a huge noodle fan, so I went with the Fried Pot Stickers (8 PCs), cheese wontons (6 PCs), and the teriyaki chicken buns with the sauces on the side. The Pot Stickers comes with a delicious ponzu sauce. Cheese Wontons with delicious sweet and sour. The teriyaki chicken buns come with a very sweet teriyaki sauce, spicy mayo, and, OMG, I also received the beyond perfection chili oil. Hands down, the BEST restaurant in regards to following instructions/special requests and then some. Teriyaki chicken buns are a MUST TRY! Huge iceberg lettuce leaves and cucumber also included along with perfectly grilled chicken. I personally love that it isn't breaded or fried! I was looking for a place for dinner yesterday and this was one of the few places still open. This town seems to shut down around 8pm or so. I entered and immediately noticed, it's a somewhat small place. I ordered the veggie ramen with an additional portion of chicken Chashu. It wasn't that great. The flavors just weren't as pronounced as I like them to be with my ramen. The servers/cashiers were quite young and not as professional or courteous as they should be. I can't say I'd recommend this place but definitely check it out and try some of the options for yourself. read more

The reason for the 2 stars is that the spicy beef ramen I ordered gave me some of the worst food poisoning I have ever had. I want to support small businesses, but not at the risk of my health! We ordered the Japanese gyoza, the seafood ramen, a thai tea boba, and the spicy beef ramen. The gyoza was great. The ramen had great flavor and was done as I like it. The owner gave us a complimentary cream cheese wontons. For what they gave you, the price was great. However, eat here at your own risk. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TAKEOUT!! Disappointed. We ordered today at clearfield location for pickup. Two spicy tonkotsu ramens. One half spicy. Right away when I got home and opened the lid I noticed a difference in the broth colors. One was clear broth, the other was traditional tonkotsu creamy broth. Tasted both just in case to confirm that one had flavor, the other tasted like water compared to each other. I'm assuming they missed something or put a different broth than tonkotsu in one. TO BE CLEAR - they carry both traditional tonkotsu broth and a spicy version. Ingredients list on website states the difference between the two is chili oil and chili paste. Half spicy shouldn't give a clear broth... No worries. I figured a quick call would make it right. I had my husband call to let them know the issue (he picked them up), and he asked if it can be remade. Or if we could have the correct broth on the side. They told us they can only make another IF we paid again. We made the error because one was half spicy. Am I missing something?? BAD SERVICE. and a waste of money and just overall experience. Everything else was good but wasn't the best of those dishes I've ever had. This is definitely a little hidden gem. Worth a try for sure. I would come back and try some ramen and will be getting the gyoza and karage chicken for sure. There isn't a ton of seating since it's a small place but it seems to all balance out okay. This place just opened and I tried their lamb skewers, sweet potato fries, Thai tea with boba and their beef ramen. All of it was really good, all their meat was tender the ramen has a more Chinese soup flavor but still has everything a good ramen should have. Food came out pretty quickly and the waitress checked in frequently to see how we were doing. They even gave us a free plate of takoyaki, which was just right! The inside is small but cozy feeling and the decor seems somewhat typical of a ramen restaurant. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! First they offer a special menu item for students from 12:20-12:50 for 10$ straight which is very nice! The women working there got my order super quick and my food came just as quickly! You get quite a bit of food 10$ you get this super big bowl of fried rice with sesame chicken and a soda it came out so quick! It was delicious! As I was eating I put some chili oil on my chicken and I had my water bottle out and the women walked over asking if it was water and she refilled it for me! SO SO NICE! The ambiance was amazing!
