Another reasonably sized lunch - Mandarin Chicken lunch special . Time to dig in!
    Patricia E.

I enjoyed all the flavors on my plate, but most of all, I enjoyed that I could finish everything on my plate: General Tso's, ham fried rice, egg roll (love the thin wrapper) and hot & sour soup. Soda included in the $8.50 lunch special price. Was in a hurry so asked for check with food and was obliged. Not crowded, plenty of parking, good service. Definitely returning.

No egg roll. No so jumbo shrimp upgrade

I have to give this place a bad review this needs to be said. Ordered a dinner combination tonight to pick up, sweet and sour pork and egg drop soup and asked my shrimp to be upgraded to the jumbo at a price of $ 1.60 each. Get there and they have a sign on the door that says no public restroom available. WTF I have understand take out only no sit down eating have no restroom, but a sit down restaurant NO. I get home I have no egg roll no hot mustard and no soy sauce and no fortune cookies. I also have no napkins or silverware to eat my food. The 1st thing I notice is the portion size. It's small for the price and my jumbo shrimp are NOT so jumbo. The food is cold and the ham fried rice is just ok. Dont have much flavor in the pork way soggy and not crispy at all and the pineapple has no flavor at all along with all the veggies. Let's get to the worst ever, the egg drop soup or so that is what they are calling it. Its chicken noodle with egg soup. The damn chicken is so over powering that it taste just like chicken soup OMG YUCK not what I order and it not traditionally made that way either. I wanted to go to Imperial dragon but they are in the middle of a move so I had to try this place out. Big mistake should have went for something else. NOT COMING BACK EVER AGAIN. NO I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

My boyfriend and I both love Thai, but had yet to taste any places worthy of a review. On our drive up from the airport to Ogden we got hungry, decided to try this one, and we had such a great experience ! Walked in to a spotless restaurant and it was completely empty but it was really relaxed and comfortable. Food was delicious. Pretty authentic and very flavorful. They have a super spicy Chile that really gives the food an extra kick. Will definitely be back for the Pad See Ew!

What a little gem. Food was amazing and the service was top notch. This was our first visit and won't be our last

Sweet & sour chicken lunch combo

My cousin & I just had lunch here & I must stay that my skepticism was put to rest immediately as we walked in. The cleanliness of the restaurant put my mind at ease. The waitress was very courteous. We placed our lunch orders and we're very pleased with our dishes and the portions were just right. Will definitely be returning. The sweet & sour chicken and fried rice were exactly as I like it & my cousin said her massaman curry was excellent.

Service was great! Really prompt and friendly, place was super super clean! If you're trying to get some good Thai come here, not the best amount of shrimp for how much it was but everything else looked well proportioned! Overall good taste. Went here right before they closed had the Masanin with shrimp and fried rice. Was nice!

Pad Thai with no nuts, peppers, or limes. This is not they way we ordered it.

First, if you have never tried Thai food, then this will taste good. Maybe great. However, if you have had real Thai food, this won't taste very good. The sticky rice was soggy (over-cooked). Even my 9 year old daughter could taste the difference. The pad Thai was only fried noodles. We asked for the bean sprouts on the side, instead they choose not to give us any. But in addition they left off the nuts, peppers, and limes. The egg was not mixed in with the noodles, but placed on the bottom, as if added separately. I'll be honest, we only came here because Five Star (another restaurant) was closed.

Beef Pad Thai, General Tso , sweet and sour chicken, crab wontons. Ba mee and crunchy chicken chow mein. Not worth it's stars. It was a ghost town in there and the food tasted very bland. I needed to put salt in my egg drop soup which isn't a good thing. Clean spot, cute family environment. Our server was great just wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

It's all around very good but I'm partial to the beef salad and beef jerky with sticky rice.

The staff was attentive and the food was pretty good. The soup wasn't the best but the egg rolls were.

I just wanted to update my previous review to say that I went back to Thai Khao Kaeng Express and…read morePizzeria again, and again, and AGAIN! TBH, it was due to some of the amazing photos you all took on here, so THANK YOU for that!! Absolutely nowhere I have been to does Thai food like this place, and the for the extremists such as myself; Thai Spicy! This place has got to be the best in Utah for a lot of different reasons. Their attention to detail, spiciness, and fresh food is what keeps me coming back again and again! Very addictive. If you are on the curious side but don't want to spend a fortune, I highly recommend their lunch special: Any Two Entrees Lunch which comes with a medium (20 oz) beverage of your choice, an egg roll or a cheese wonton, and your choice of different Curry's and Stir Fry's. I always mix & match and pick one curry and one stir fry to try out the flavors. Curry and Stir Fry comes with your choice of protein: chicken, pork, or beef (for a small additional fee). So far I've tried the Red Curry, Green Curry, Pineapple Curry, and Panang Curry. In regards to the Stir Fry's, I've tried the Black Pepper (OMG...ask for Thai Spicy if you can handle it...Sooo delicious)! Thai Basil Stir Fry and Cashew Nut Stir Fry are equally as good. The Sweet & Sour Stir Fry definitely has a different sauce taste compared to other establishments. Not necessarily my fave, but there really isn't one dish that you can go wrong with. I've also tried their Beef Salad which was abundant in both fresh vegetables and beef. You also can request your spice level on the dressing...so of course I went with the spiciest that they could make and it was fabulous! It also includes a side of white rice. I'm beyond impressed with this restaurant and wish that I lived closer to it. I'd be there everyday (they are closed on Sunday). I can't recommend them enough and I sincerely thank the owners for always doing the best they can to meet my extremely high spice level. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!

Who could resist trying a place that has Thai food AND pizza?…read more I love Thai food and I like pizza, so the thought of ordering a Thai pizza was really intriguing. After looking at their rating, we had to try it. We ordered the Thai Pizza , Tom Yum Kai, and Pad Thai. The server brought the condiments which included Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, soy sauce, Sriracha, Hoisin Sauce, and chili oil. What a combo! What a nice surprise! Who would've thought that curry and pizza would go together? Pad Thai was really good. Lots of flavor and very fresh ingredients. Tom Yum Kai has just the right amount of spice and was incredibly flavorful. You can taste the lemongrass and a hint of fish sauce. We also ordered the chicken satay. Hints of curry and the peanut sauce was one of the better ones we've had. Give this place a chance. You'll be pleasantly surprised!
