Came here on a Saturday night, no wait, food came out quickly. Waiter checked on us often, I got the Thai sampler with papaya salad. Jerky taste great, a bit chewy cause some pieces were too thick. Papaya tasted good, sour, spicy and sweet. Sticky rice was a bit too dry. My husband got the Tangerine beef dinner combo, it came with fried rice, egg drip soup, an egg roll and fried shrimp. The beef was crispy and the sauce was good. Kids got the mandarin chicken with the sauce on the side. The chicken was lightly breaded. Be careful what you order here. Some stuff is a 10 and some is a 2. The best stuff here hands down is the Tangerine Beef, Tangerine chicken. Those dishes are unique to this place and should be at the top of your list for things you'd order. The lighter breading almost like a coating, it's crispy and different than that standard Chinese breading where it's puffy and there's like one tiny piece of chicken in the middle of a huge breaded mess. Most Chinese places are the same. The above mentioned dishes are the exception. Now that that's out of the way... All the Thai food is exceptional so you can't go wrong with their Thai menu items as they're a Thai restaurant first and a Chinese place second. Their fried rice is wonderful. Egg rolls are meh. And the standard dishes like sweet and sour chicken or lo mein etc are like the same as everywhere else. GET THE TANGERINE BEEF!!!! Their Panang Curry, Green Curry, Thom Kah soup etc. All 10's. Ordered some take out before work. I got green curry and tangerine chicken. The green curry was a lunch special so it came with hot and spicy soup fried rice and an egg roll... Ohh it was so yummy delicious! My tangerine chicken was an entree with white rice. As soon as I got to work I couldn't wait to eat because my car was filled with the scents of my Wasatch Wok. Let me first say I've never had tangerine beef but alot of reviews said to try it and I did. It was so sweet and flavorfully that'll definitely order it again next time!!! The only thing I wish I would've told them was to make my curry spicy because I like it but either way it was still really good. I am glad I got food here because these guys deliver quality. I have to give this place a bad review this needs to be said. Ordered a dinner combination tonight to pick up, sweet and sour pork and egg drop soup and asked my shrimp to be upgraded to the jumbo at a price of $ 1.60 each. Get there and they have a sign on the door that says no public restroom available. WTF I have understand take out only no sit down eating have no restroom, but a sit down restaurant NO. I get home I have no egg roll no hot mustard and no soy sauce and no fortune cookies. I also have no napkins or silverware to eat my food. The 1st thing I notice is the portion size. It's small for the price and my jumbo shrimp are NOT so jumbo. The food is cold and the ham fried rice is just ok. Dont have much flavor in the pork way soggy and not crispy at all and the pineapple has no flavor at all along with all the veggies. Let's get to the worst ever, the egg drop soup or so that is what they are calling it. Its chicken noodle with egg soup. The damn chicken is so over powering that it taste just like chicken soup OMG YUCK not what I order and it not traditionally made that way either. My boyfriend and I both love Thai, but had yet to taste any places worthy of a review. On our drive up from the airport to Ogden we got hungry, decided to try this one, and we had such a great experience ! Walked in to a spotless restaurant and it was completely empty but it was really relaxed and comfortable. Food was delicious. Pretty authentic and very flavorful. I ordered takeout through DoorDash. I got the ham foo young meal, and a la carte Mongolian Beef. The good: tons of veggies on the ham foo young. Ham fried rice was decent. Was pleasantly surprised to not see the Mongolian Beef covered in green peppers, as I despise them and usually pick through them for the Beef and any other vegetables. The bad: The ham foo young was one tiny little patty. Every other restaurant around here gives you at least two, of not three, and they're generous in size. At $10 for the plate, which included one shrimp, an egg roll, and fried rice, and supposedly soup, which I didn't get, I think it was a ripoff. The Mongolian Beef had no spice at all whatsoever. In fact all the flavors were blaaaaand. The Mongolian Beef and the ham foo young tasted exactly the same. And maybe the most egregious: there were absolutely zero condiments included. For what I ordered, there should have been some soy sauce, ketchup, hot mustard and a small cup of sweet & sour. I ended up making my own cocktail sauce for the shrimp, and used my own soy sauce from the cupboard. And what's the use in eating a dry egg roll? First, if you have never tried Thai food, then this will taste good. Maybe great. However, if you have had real Thai food, this won't taste very good. The sticky rice was soggy (over-cooked). Even my 9 year old daughter could taste the difference. The pad Thai was only fried noodles. We asked for the bean sprouts on the side, instead they choose not to give us any. But in addition they left off the nuts, peppers, and limes. The egg was not mixed in with the noodles, but placed on the bottom, as if added separately. This spot is super yummy. We needed a quick dinner and ordered over the phone--it only took 15 minutes and everything was even better than expected. Okay. I was worried at first when we walked in. It's noon and there are only two people eating. Make it worse, half the tables still needed to be cleared or cleaned. We had to sit ourselves and then we didn't see our, well, the only waitress for almost five minutes. Not a good start. But I have to say the food was pretty good. FINALLY a great Chinese and Thai place in Clearfield! We've lived in this area for 13 years and until now we've had to go out to Layton or Ogden to find really great Chinese. And we've NEVER found a good Thai place. But Wasatch Wok has both and both sides of the menu are to die for. Since they've opened, we've had the Mongolian Beef, Chicken Pad Thai, Beef and Broccoli, a garlic chicken dish that I can't remember the name of, and a couple others. The four of us have yet to be disappointed. It's such a nice location because it's quiet but so close to Hill. Great for Airmen looking for a good cheap meal. The customer service is wonderful too!
