I am disappointed in this location. People of the community have reported that several Brown employees were terminated due to "lack of work," only for the store to be restaffed shortly after with a significantly younger, white staff. That explanation does not align with what followed, and it raises concerns about fairness and discrimination. Since these staffing changes, standards have clearly declined. Cleanliness has suffered, service is slower and disorganized, and there are repeated complaints of pickup orders being delayed or completely "lost." The poor staffing decisions and noticeable drop in quality is hard to ignore. Businesses should be doing better. Especially ones that rely so heavily on diverse communities for their success. Management needs to take accountability and address these issues immediately. Until this error is addressed and corrected, I will not be supporting this location. read more

I truly enjoy zupas but when the staff treat me like I don't know what I like there's an issue. I went to this location with my friend and got a simple sandwich and soup I don't like Munster so I made this apparent to Kenna the management but still found Munster on my sandwich when I asked for cheddar. I went here before and it was fantastic but when this new manager KENNA came in I was done everyone looks like they hate there job and she was on there butts about not smiling when she looked like she hated her job. not to mention the other girls were so sweet and helpful but KENNA needs to go the place was so much better before her and now everything sucks. the place is cozy but tension was in the air with KENNA getting on everyone. I have had excellent food at this specific location every time I've gone. I've tried the salads, all the bowls, a couple of the soups, and two of the sandwiches. The sandwiches are just OK but the rest is amazing! I especially love the roll and the chocolate covered strawberry that comes with every meal. I don't know what's so good about it, but that roll is some of the best bread I've ever had. The salads and the bowls are always fresh with plenty of toppings. So my first time coming here was with my colleagues, all 5 of us went for lunch and even tho it was my first time it felt cool inside. The staff making the food was very knowledgeable; and very friendly, they took our orders fast and knew exactly how we wanted them made. The only problem I had is the lack of drinks to choose from, and that cashier seemed clueless of what she was doing i hope she learns faster. She definitely messed my order up with someone else order and then tried to charge me more than i should have been and all she told me was sorry I'm new: I'm not trying to be mean but being new has nothing to do with taking your time and taking a deep breathe. First time here. And really wanted to enjoy it. My daughter really wanted the dubai chocolate cup. And I figured it would be good TikTok content as well, since she does have a following. But after the service we received, we left without the Dubai chocolate. The "lead" Anelly really ruined our first time here and because of her, I doubt we'll be back. (She's a kid and it's our first time) We asked for no chicken, but the girl was moving so fast she plopped it on and then did a sloppy job of taking off most of the chicken, and leaving some on there. Once again, she does not eat meat! And didn't care for the croutons either. I asked if we could just do a create your own salad. And the girl said yea. But anelly took over and said that we would need to pay for each topping separately at this point since the salad was already a premade salad and had all the ingredients. Mind you the chicken is gone and the croutons are gone. So there is no toppings on there any more! I'm like what's been premade there's nothing on there?? And she becomes real passive aggressive about how we need to pay $1 or something for each extra topping from here on out. After I already informed the first girl to make it a create your own. Mind you it's our first time. I ask her to explain the pricing and why I can't turn this salad with no toppings into a create your own and she starts trippin talking bout I'm not gonna argue with u. Because it has all these topics. And there was literally no toppings. And when I pointed that out she finally looked down n saw that there were indeed no toppings on it. But she was hell bent on charging per topping it was weird. Idk if she was trying to be funny or trying to insinuate I couldn't afford some extra toppings lol but after dealing with her I was ready to walk out with nothing. And I really didn't want her touching my food. The girl next to her was pretty rude as well. I paid and left. Ended up spending $37 on two 12.99 meals with drinks. But after the taste anelly left in my mouth. I probably won't eat it. It's still sitting in the kitchen. lol. Service was a -3. No longer interested in the food. I absolutely LOVE this place! I come here at least once a week and usually get something different every time. The staff is always very polite. The food quality is great and consistent every location I go to. There is sometimes a wait to get in line but there is always the option to order ahead online and pick it up. I have never been so disappointed in Zupa's. Yesterday me and two of my friends went there and we ordered Cauliflower Soup. We asked to talk to a manager because our soup was COLD. The manager told us they didn't have a microwave, he took both of our soups to the kitchen. He returned with what looked like the same Cauliflower soup. The cheese was still not melted, still cold. Never saw a manager again. All three of us agreed we will not be returning. Very poor customer service. read more

I waited about a week after the soft opening of Cafe Zupas in Logan to make a quick drive through. I ordered my all time fav - mango berry salad and a Coke Zero. The girl at the drive through offered me a menu and was pleasant. At the take out window I was also greeted very pleasantly, and the place was pretty busy. My rating (that should have been 5 stars because usually this place has great food) went swiftly downhill. I didn't have to wait super long, about 7 minutes, but much longer that it should take to get a salad. When I finally got back to work and opened the salad and was disappointed. I ordered a full size salad with an addition of a scoop of quinoa. I received a small salad without the quinoa. Still delicious, but so small! I also received the traditional chocolate covered strawberry and a slice of French bread. Both of these were fantastic which helped boost the rating to a 3 star. I plan to return, but only because I believe that the salad mistake may be just an opening glitch. However, I firmly believe that food ordered in the drive-through should be checked and double checked before sending it out to the customer. My favorite soup is the Cawliflower cheddar soup the chicken tortilla one is good too. The very berry salad is good and the bbq chicken salad. The service is fine everyone is behind glass, I used to work here they are very strict about portions. I have the most amazing salad and soup yesterday. I ordered the southwest avocado and for soup I ordered southwest potato and green chili. Since we had our first snow of the year the place was BUSY but the line moved so fast and all the employees were beyond polite and friend. Bread was very fresh, just enough turkey and avocado was also appealing to the eye. But, you have to be careful with Zupas. They nickel and dime you. My friend had a couple of things sprinkled on her soup..that cost another $1.38. We were never told that it would be an extra charge. If you want a few chips with sandwich....extra$$. Best place to get a soup and salad. Very consistent. My goto is the Nuts About Berries salad and the Mushroom soup with onion crisps added. You can't go wrong with this place! The service is fast and friendly, the food is amazing, and the drinks are awesome. They have several herbal "home made" drinks they do that are so good! And they have a lot of other options as well as bottled drinks to choose frrom. The salads are always fresh and they make their dressings fresh each day. The sandwiches are always to die for, I love me a good grilled sandwich! And the soups? I have only had the tomato basil but I LOVE it, it's like home made and they will add pasta to it if you want. My sons have had other soups and they love them, I have had to bring some home for them before. And if they mess up? They make it right. I like that. I get it that you can't be perfect all the time. But if you will make it right then I'm good with that. I got the grilled cheese two months ago, and it was missing the tomato. I didn't see until I got home (take out order), but they said they'd make it right. I went in and told them I was suppsed to get a sandwich. I had my receipt, and expected a sandwich. They gave me the whole meal, salad roll and even the strawberry. I told them I just needed the sandwich but they gave me the whole thing on the house! I thought that was awesome. They were very apologetic and kind. They always are. Everyone that works there seems to always be busy and happy to be busy. I ordered the seasonal turkey, Brie, cranberry, tomato on a ciabatta bread sandwich, yummy cauliflower cheddar soup, and a piece of crème brûlée cheesecake. This meal was so delicious. The sandwich was larger than my fist and busting with flavor! The soup was so smooth. I didn't mention I added bacon and additional cheddar but that really topped it off! The cheesecake was pretty good not like reaaally good but pretty good. I love the chocolate covered strawberries that they serve with your meals! I ate them all in one bite. I prefer this because if you nibble then the chocolate breaks and you're left with crumbs of chocolate. This is my first time ordering from Cafe Zupas but it sure won't be the last. Love the food, always have, always have had great experiences here, but tonight my boyfriend got off work late so we decided to stop in, an hour before closing time. There was quite the line for being so late I will give them that, but one of the girls working putting together the strawberries and stuff had a very bad attitude, saying "it's not like we want to go home" to one of her coworkers, talking to other customers like she didn't care. We understand it's late and they want to go home, but just because the store closes at 9, doesn't mean you all go home at 9. That's apart of food service.
