Protein Bowl
Daniel A.

Im enjoying the protein bowl options at Zupas. Especially since they advertise just how much protein you're getting in each bowl. The ingredients are all very fresh tasting. They didn't ask what I wanted as my base this time around so I didn't get exactly what I want. The line is a little slow but not terrible. Decent lunch option.

Turkey bacon avocado panini with enchilada chili soup

My fiancé had never tried Zupas. I wasn't going to let him go any longer without trying their magnificent food. We placed an online order and it was ready to be picked up within 15 minutes. Picking up our food was easy. We just walked passed the line and found our bag of food on the shelf. We were in and out in less than a minute. The food was absolutely delicious! He and I both got the same thing, the Turkey bacon avocado (tba) and the enchilada chili soup. I had forgotten that each meal comes with a chocolate covered strawberry, so that was a nice surprise! He loved the food (as did I) and would love to have it again!

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe - Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich

Food Quality: 4/5 Service: 5/5…read moreCleanliness: 5/5 Value: 4/5 We stopped in for breakfast at Kneaders. My husband ordered the sausage butter croissant and was surprised it didn't come with egg - just sausage, cheese and the croissant. I even double-checked the menu to be sure and they do have both - an option with egg and one without. He gave it a 3/5 and said it would've been much better with egg. I went with the egg and cheese on a butter croissant. It was definitely on the greasy side but that's to be expected with a croissant. We shared a sweet roll, which was pretty good but the real win for me was the free samples. They were handing out bites of their baked goods - pumpkin chocolate chip, a white chocolate cookie of some sort and a mystery muffin - and I snagged a few for us. Overall, pretty good for a quick breakfast!

Does this look like a $12 club sandwich to anyone??? Quality is definitely slipping. It's supposed…read moreto at least have meat on it. Last time, I ordered a crack chicken sandwich. Not only wasn't it crack chicken with that wonderful creamy sauce, it was Turkey - with no sauce on it. Not even mayo. And it was on plain bread. I showed it to the girl at the counter, who took it in the back to show someone and came back and said, " Yes, that's crack chicken." When I pointed out it was, in fact, TURKEY, she turned to help another customer and ignored me. So, not only is quality slipping, but so is the service. And apparently, there's a chef who doesn't know his own menu and can't tell chicken from turkey.

Maybe the saddest sandwich I've ever eaten. I got the chicken club, and it said it came with…read more"breaded chicken" which I assumed would be some sort of crispy delight. What was given to me instead was an incredibly soggy piece of chicken akin to a microwaved dinosaur chicken nugget. It tasted about the same too. As far as the cookie went, it was delicious. I was saved from a very sad lunch but this very large, soft, pink cookie. Overall clean and bright building, with staff constantly cleaning, which is good to see. They spelled my name more incorrect than I've ever seen on a food order in my life, which made me laugh, but was not enough to save me from a really bad sandwich.

There was only one person besides me, and this gentleman had a laptop up and was meeting with the manager. As I sat and ordered and ate my soup, I'll talk to myself. Why is this business not attracting more customers this is noon time during the week. Then I realized why I ordered broccoli cheese, soup, and a bread bowl. Both (soup and bread bowl) were very unremarkable The soup is very watery. With chunks of broccoli laid on top??? And no visible cheese? and no real taste of cheese? The bread was very unremarkable also just not much taste. Again the question would I ever go back. Chances are pretty slim I do hope this Business survives and I do hope they learn from their mistakes. I was there for probably 45 minutes and again I was the only customer. I walked in the store at 11 AM. I did see two gentlemen, walked to the door as I was leaving the parking lot

Suburban Utah isn't synonymous with Korean food. However, bearing an appetite fueled by a long ski…read moreday and with the optimism of a man seeking the protein boost of unlimited bulgogi, I decided to gamble on Ombu for dinner one night last week. The restaurant was about a third full when I arrived, with one large party in the center. Their children were tearing around the restaurant, and had invented a game that involved throwing things into an unused grill. It looked quite fun, to be fair, and involved a lot of screaming and running, but it was rather distracting to a tired ski bum in need of a more relaxing meal. The food ordering system is via a tablet, where you pick what you want and - if n my experience - there's a 75% chance that the right item gets delivered to you. Sometimes your Kalbi will be pork belly, and to be honest you'll be glad it was because the kalbi itself is super tough. Similarly the beef tongue, which gave my jaw a workout it won't forget in a hurry. My tofu and kimchi soup contained a bonus unpeeled shrimp, which I found languishing at the bottom. Fortunately it was fully cooked. Rice paper isn't a thing here, but the rice dishes from the menu turn up cold anyway so it's almost the same. I hate to say this too, but one of the biggest issues I encountered was my server's lack of English, which actually made questioning the above shrimp incident - or indeed querying menu items - impossible. I tried, but he thought I wanted to order another bowl of the soup. Genuinely not hating in that regard, learning languages is tough plus I accept that English is not the native language of Korea and it's not like I speak any Korean, but it was rather frustrating at the time. So... why, you might ask, is this not a one-star review? Well... the brisket could've been way worse, the bulgogi was at least average, the pork belly was actually pretty good, and (until I found the errant shrimp) the tofu and kimchi soup was very enjoyable. Despite the communication issues, my server was diligent and friendly too, and I doubt the noisy children eat there every night. My own expectations are unfairly skewed too; K-town restaurants in LA take a lot to match. Will I go back? Honest answer: Probably not, but that may be as much my issue as theirs.

This place is amazing!…read more Came here two times and was impressed both times. The first time came and it was slow the second time it was packed but the service was the same quality. Staff is very friendly and food/ drink came out quick. Staff works well as a team. The restaurant seemed pretty cleaned even though there is a lot going on from everyone cooking their food and all the things being delivered to us. The food taste amazing!!! I love that it is all you can eat appetizers and entrees with the option to have a cooked Korean meal instead. Such a fun experience to cook yourself and order whatever you want off the tablet. The ambience is comfortable. It has a very simple design but I like how it makes each table feel comfortable while maximizing their space. For two after tip we paid $67 to dine here. Worth every dollar! Will definitely come back again!!
