I don't like giving bad reviews but my husband hates ordering for me so I typed it out for him. It was clear instruction and he showed it to them to order the kids meal. My toast was not bobbed and was cold, I ordered a honey mustard in addition to canes sauce, am I missing something, how much more clear instruction do your teams need? I think my instruction in writing was clear, I did not get canes sauce, no utensils, no napkins, pretty disappointing. My husband showed the phone to him to order it and they did not do it right. I am not sure if the hype for this place. We ordered the strip sandwich and 4 piece with two iced teas. Right off the bat iced tea maybe had a table spoon of ice. More like "Luke warm" tea. The "Texas toast" was more of a Texas sponge. It sighed up the steam and tasted like nothing. My fries were not even done as you may see in the picture. Soggy and some still cold in the middle. For a whopping .39 cents we ordered extra sauce which we never got. So in the end won't be coming back to raise and canes this was a complete failure. read more

Cane's is what it is and isn't what it is not. When you walk in the door, expect a slim menu with one basic protein: chicken. You're going to get it in tender form, and that is it. So once you accept that this is a "chicken tender" stand, you can appreciate that they do them well. Don't expect something that they don't have. (end rant). The chicken is always cooked well, has flavorful batter, and comes out hot and fresh. Sides are either fries or coleslaw and you get a piece of buttery toast. Oh, and "Cane's Sauce" which is suspiciously the same as what people in Utah call "fry sauce." Now, I can accept the limited items on the menu but the one (and only one) downfall that I have found is the weird combinations you buy said chicken tenders in. You can get 3 tenders and fries or 4 tenders and fries/coleslaw. Not to be picky, but I want 4 tenders with fries and you can't order that. It also confuses them if you tell them to keep the coleslaw. All in all, it's a chicken tender food truck with walls. Good tenders, and just tenders. read more

This newest location is just as good as my first visit and the food came out hot and delicious. I asked for some extra sauces which for me is necessary because it is so damn good. The interior is similar to other locations... bright, cheery and with disco balls on the ceiling. They have two nice patios for when the weather heats up and you can cool off with the beverage of your choice complete their signature crushed ice which makes any drink better! Raising Cane's joins a crowd of local options in quick service chicken restaurants--so what makes this any more special? The white meat chicken fingers of our Box Combos ordered during the Pre-Grand Opening were very tender and juicy with a pleasant, subtle garlic and noticeable black pepper flavor; and crisp, slightly crunchy, slightly soft, but not too heavy crust. It's probably coming from a seasoned buttermilk marinade, but all the same it pleased me that the kitchen crew (and their timers) were minding the meat temperatures well and that the coating isn't too heavy. The cole slaw is a sweet, small-mince slaw like you'd find at KFC--not bad, not too special. While I generally dislike crinkle cut fries, these are a narrower cut so they were crisper than usual--good. The house 'Cane Sauce' is a black pepper-forward Alabama-style sauce--not the best 'Bama-style southern chicken sauce I've had by far, but a welcome pivot from the usual 'fry sauce' found in these parts. And nice that it just wasn't another conventional KC-style thick-sweet brown BBQ or honey mustard as their main house sauce. Again, the chicken was very tasty and fairly-sized (though not huge) portion of four fingers plus drink and sides. The sesame-seeded 'Texas Toast' is a welcome buttered, toasted change-up from the usual rolls served elsewhere--even Texas Toast loaves you'll find sold in grocery stores. It's more like a thick slice from a loaf of New England top-loading buns, but not sliced as a bun, served pillowy soft and toasted. The house-made lemonade tastes like fresh lemons like they claim it is so made, and a much, much better choice than the usual Coca-Cola fountain-style Country Time. The vibe of Cane's is adequate--service friendly and welcoming though menu options in sides could be more varied and appealing. Sauce portion could be a little better for the cost. But at least it's not another Chick-Fil-A even if the menu is a more stripped down style focus much like them. I think Cane's is a touch better than 3 stars for their $10 combo meal but YMMV. I'll try them again--with a kudos for their school-community reach out prior to the formal Grand Opening. read more

The quality of the food here is great and I got plenty of food for $10. There were able to substitute some toast instead of the fries for me. The toast wasn't very "toasted" but it still had a good flavor. The picture on the menu shows that it has a lot of sauce and lettuce, but I was bummed I didn't get any lettuce and not much sauce. We LOVE Cane's! I did live for years in the area where Cane's first started-- so when we finally got a close one (closer than South Jordan hooray) to us, it was like a little taste of home. It's chicken tenders, special sauce, fries, and toast. For us- the toasty toast is the star of the show! So many have done what Cane's is doing. It's not new, it's not original. Chicken tender restaurants are all over and they all have a similar concept-- chicken tenders, similar special sauce, fries, and toast. Zaxby's does it nationally, Guthries does it in it's regions (and I think they may have done it FIRST tbh), Foosackly's does it in the deep southeastern states, PDQ has an expanded menu- but the chicken concept is the same, Slim Chicken's is out here doing the same thing. It's a common concept. People go to Cane's for whatever reason they go to Cane's. We go because the chicken is good, the feels are better, and good sweet tea is hard to find in Utah! We were there one day last week, and there is one thing that this place does that few others do. They have someone come out and check on people. The person checked on us more than once, and also helped clear our table while we were finishing up. I love Raising Cane's and this location is a good one. Chicken is amazing! But come on, the sauce! I love it but they gave us one sauce for four chicken strips. It comes in a small, small container and when we asked for more you would think we asked for our meal for free. They were not nice about it and said it would cost extra. It would be good practice to be kind about it and, not asking for much, maybe we could have one of your tiny sauces for every two chicken strips. Otherwise I would have given four stars. We go to the Raising Canes in RIVERDALE UTAH We had the most amazing experience here today for their BOGO fathers day - Kaitlyn came out to assist with our Double order (2 orders, 1 car = 4 box meals & 4 drinks) and after we got our food, she ended up running outside as we were getting ready to leave to ensure we had gotten out complete order. We did have our complete purchase, and she and a 3rd meal that had our name on it in erroneously. This level of kindness, care and thoroughness is so incredibly rare.
