A walk up Old Fashioned Local Burger Joint. Going here brings back fun memories of all the burger joints growing up. *Note--- no indoor seating so make sure to plan ahead Service is so friendly and the food comes out really fast especially considering how many people are in line ordered food. Plus the food is piping hot when it comes out. The fries were great, the regular fries have a bit of batter with them and I loved the fry sauce. The Big Ben Burger was good, the homemade bun is chewy which I loved. However, overall, there wasn't any WoW factor to the burger. Just a decent old fashioned burger. The seasonal pumpkin shake was the other win! A lighter flavor than eating a pumpkin pie but still with all the spice and creaminess, I loved it!

Great little mom-and-pop burger spot! The burger and fries were amazing! fresh, hot, and made to order. The wait wasn't too long, and you can really taste the quality. Only downside was the overwhelming number of flies outside, which took away from the experience a bit. Other than that, definitely worth a visit for the food!

Be nice to the employees sign, love it!!

Dang, if you are ever out in Roy, Utah this is a must stop. Right off the free way and the food is bomb. Their prices are awesome for the quality of food. Utah beef, yum!! The shakes are next level, I'm telling you. I also appreciate the focus on staff quality of work, see image!! Get it burger bar!! This place as been around since 1956, wow!!

Not sure what all the hype is about this place. To me it was just average. Burger was good but not great. Nice thing is that they include fries with each burger or sandwich. Fries are good but the burgers are very messy. What surprised me is that they charge if you want more than one fry sauce. This is a walk up, order, pay, and then wait to be called. They have very little seating and it is outside only. So it is pretty much buy and go or eat in your car. So, three stars as an average burger place.

So the Burger Bar is a Roy, Ut. local favorite. Not being from Roy, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. And was in town for my daughter's soccer game. Team stopped here after to celebrate their win. First there's no drive through or interior seating. There is usually a crowd outside. Some benches outside for eating. First impressions is that it was fun and local, good quality ingredients, and nice little things that make it what it is. Option for "old fashion" fries, double fried, fresh daily baked buns, Gems (Tater tots), fresh fruit shakes, tenderloin steak sandwich, etc. The burger is along the lines of Hires in SLC. Not overly stacked or huge but well blended ingredients and flavors. I added bacon for a charge and thought it was a very good burger. 4/5 My wife is the Gem lover and said they were great, very crispy. We substituted gems for fries. 5/5 Raspberry Shake was good too, the bite I had I thought the raspberries were frozen, but could be mistaken. 4/5

Burger bar was super cool and I am glad we drove up north of SLC to check it out in Roy, Utah. Right away I knew we found something, because it was busy at an off-time of the day. I would describe it as part burger stand and part dessert shop. Prices were far more 1970 than 2023, and that is totally cool with me. I had an elk burger with fries, and a few of my friend's had milkshakes and said they were fantastic. The rolls are made in house and they use a special fry sauce on all burgers. Fries were decent, and the cook time was pretty good - if not a few minutes long. Not much seating so be ready to eat in your car. Overall, this place is a gem and Guy was right when he said it was a throw-back!

When we finally got our food they were told that there was some sort of a mix up with the online orders... We didn't place an online order. We ordered and paid for in person and we still were there for more than an hour waiting. Once we were finally able to eat, the food tasted good, but not good enough for two overpriced burgers, some cold fries and onion rings and a small shake that cost almost $50 for the two of us and a not great customer service experience. I'm hoping this is an isolated experience as I like to support local businesses and would like to give them another chance sometime but not sure when.

Keeping with a couple criteria, an untried venue, check! Food, (most importantly) check! and nearby, check! We decided to throw on some foot covers and head out the door. A quick jaunt and we'd arrived. Super easy to find even though it isn't street facing. Expecting it to be bustling with NYE recovery folks, we were surprised to find a quiet establishment that had two other patrons. Quickly I grabbed up a menu and we were immediately greeted with a friendly "Good Morning" from a very energetic and enjoyable young man. We sat and perused the menu. Talking over what we wanted vs what we should have. It took less time to make our decision for our order than most food stops in our past. I ordered the Mortician with Pepper Jack instead of the American Cheese it was paired with. Our order taker guy, (also the energetic greeter) inquired if I wanted to make it a double. I answered to the affirmative, (with a sheepish smile on my face). My wife conservatively ordered the Thursday Special, consisting of the Morty's Iconic Cheeseburger and fries. After paying and sitting down, our once greeter/order taker now waiter guy appeared with a large bottle of pour-it-yourself Fry Sauce and a handful of napkins. I looked over the sauce and quickly realized I hadn't ordered the Onion Rings that I wanted to try. I quickly mentioned to our greeter/order taker/waiter guy before he disappeared behind the kitchen doors that I needed the onion rings. With a smile and a thumbs up he said, I gotchu. I asked if there was a separate charge and stood up to pay. He quickly interrupted my advancement with an outstretched hand and a more pronounced, I Got You. This, of course was not my intention to get free stuffs but I was pleased just the same. My wife quickly grabbed some loose cash from her purse and added it to their tip jar. Thanks Babe! Once again you show me one of the many reasons for my affection toward you! We sat and did some chit-chat, continuing conversations from earlier that day. Sooner than expected, our food shows up, piled high and filling the plates with our side orders, (see photos). I literally had to take off the onion rings that were part of the sandwich makeup to even consider the possibility of moving the Mortician into my mouth, (TWSS! ...if you know, you know). Im finding this experience difficult to put into words. So, I'll sum it up. Delicious and juicy and fantastic! For once, outside of a homegrown burger, I'm able to enjoy the separate flavorings of Bacon, Beef, (which I think is marinated), the jalapeño and the pastrami as well as the aioli. After a quick drink to cleanse my palette, I grabbed up an Onion Ring. I paused to reflect on my existence and quietly muttered, this is really good! Crispy beyond any previous onion ring order from any of the, what could be hundreds of orders of rings during my 59 years, and delicious. I savored every bite, licked my fingers, and made happy "mmm mmm" sounds as I partook of this fine deliciousness. We finished everything! Talked about how this particular Morty's has now been labeled a family staple. Our experience is not just made up from the delicious food, friendly atmosphere, free onion rings, and did I mention the delicious food?, no. It's all of these as a whole, bigger experience, making it a unique and favorite beginning to a new year. Thanks to you, Morty's and our favorite greeter/order taker/waiter/I gotchu guy, we both are still smiling from our visit. Thank you for the excellent experience. We are looking forward to our next visit!

We almost missed the sign and it is located in a small corner of a shopping area with another establishment next door. Inside, it has a cool casual vibe. You order at the counter and then go grab a table if you are dining in (they give you a number to put on your table). We both had the classic burger, mine with pepper jack cheese. They come with chips so you have to upgrade for fries or onion rings, and that will cost you an extra $3.75. The burgers were really good, and though I know it's subjective, this was one of the best fast-food burgers I've had. My wife enjoyed her onion rings, and I liked the steak fries, though they could have been crispier. You have all of your condiments, including fry sauce, at the table. In addition, they have a variety of shake flavors. I chose a "regular" peach, regular still being pretty big. There were bits of peaches in mine, which was nice, but I did not taste a peach flavor. I was hoping for something that tasted more like peach ice cream. The shakes are thick, and you have to eat them with a spoon. Very yummy. I'll order a different flavor the next time we're passing through. Our meal cost about $34, not counting a tip. So, not inexpensive. Still, very worth it to us. A special shout-out to Bodie, the young man that helped us with our order. Very friendly and helpful. My wife and I think we'll make this a regular stop on our trips to Colorado and California.

TBH, it was due to some of the amazing photos you all took on here, so THANK YOU for that!! Absolutely nowhere I have been to does Thai food like this place, and the for the extremists such as myself; Thai Spicy! This place has got to be the best in Utah for a lot of different reasons. Their attention to detail, spiciness, and fresh food is what keeps me coming back again and again! Very addictive. If you are on the curious side but don't want to spend a fortune, I highly recommend their lunch special: Any Two Entrees Lunch which comes with a medium (20 oz) beverage of your choice, an egg roll or a cheese wonton, and your choice of different Curry's and Stir Fry's. I always mix & match and pick one curry and one stir fry to try out the flavors. Curry and Stir Fry comes with your choice of protein: chicken, pork, or beef (for a small additional fee). So far I've tried the Red Curry, Green Curry, Pineapple Curry, and Panang Curry. In regards to the Stir Fry's, I've tried the Black Pepper (OMG...ask for Thai Spicy if you can handle it...Sooo delicious)! Thai Basil Stir Fry and Cashew Nut Stir Fry are equally as good. The Sweet & Sour Stir Fry definitely has a different sauce taste compared to other establishments. Not necessarily my fave, but there really isn't one dish that you can go wrong with. I've also tried their Beef Salad which was abundant in both fresh vegetables and beef. You also can request your spice level on the dressing...so of course I went with the spiciest that they could make and it was fabulous! It also includes a side of white rice. I'm beyond impressed with this restaurant and wish that I lived closer to it. I'd be there everyday (they are closed on Sunday). I can't recommend them enough and I sincerely thank the owners for always doing the best they can to meet my extremely high spice level. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!

Who could resist trying a place that has Thai food AND pizza?…read more I love Thai food and I like pizza, so the thought of ordering a Thai pizza was really intriguing. After looking at their rating, we had to try it. We ordered the Thai Pizza , Tom Yum Kai, and Pad Thai. The server brought the condiments which included Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, soy sauce, Sriracha, Hoisin Sauce, and chili oil. What a combo! What a nice surprise! Who would've thought that curry and pizza would go together? Pad Thai was really good. Lots of flavor and very fresh ingredients. Tom Yum Kai has just the right amount of spice and was incredibly flavorful. You can taste the lemongrass and a hint of fish sauce. We also ordered the chicken satay. Hints of curry and the peanut sauce was one of the better ones we've had. Give this place a chance. You'll be pleasantly surprised!
