Stopped in passing through town and was very pleased. It is a small little diner with Rosa running point and calling the shots. We had the red and green(Christmas Butrito) and it was tasty and large portion. The red sauce had a little more spice than the green but the combo was just right. Would definitely stop if in town. The tortillas are made from scratch and if you sit at the bar you will see them being made. read more

Stopped in to order a couple of bacon breakfast burritos to go. Was quoted 25 mins shortly after opening and found that lots of people call to order for their burritos (noted!). The burritos are hefty and solid and wrapped in a delicious hand made tortilla. The green salsa is better than the orange/red (but they were very skimpy on the green salsa). They could use something fresh like pico de gallo inside since it was very potato heavy. Overall, very happy with the burritos. read more

First time eating here today and holy moly, best chili verde I've ever had. The burrito is massive, rice and beans delicious. Very generous portions of lean shredded pork, quality through and through. Just a word of warning, very spicy (yes I'm a gringo) but that's what gives it the incredible flavor. Everything about this place is cute and clean. Rosa and the staff are so kind n nice to talk to. I had the special Caldo de Albondigas (Mexican meatballs soup.) Very mild but completely flavorful with large pork/beef meatballs, corn, potato, carrot n collard greens. If you never had this before n they're serving it do your soul a favor and order it. So, we finally got to go to this restaurant. Well, it is more of a burrito shop than a restaurant. This is a small place with about 27 seats. Service is straight forward, walk up order your food pay then go sit and wait. Needless to say, they want their tip upfront. One of my big no-no's. For the most part the food is very good I had the huevos ranchro and my wife had a burrito. The burritos are giant and she took half of it home. Mine was so-so. Eggs were overcooked. Their small potato's served as a side are great. You can watch the staff making the tortilla's in the back. Yes they are made fresh daily and the also sell them. They are about 16 inches in diameter. They offer two types of salsa one hit one mile. Both are good while the service is ok and the food good, five stars no! We will be going back. read more

This is a tiny cafe in Ogden, fairly near the Salt Lake City airport. There is outside and inside sitting. The interior feels like an abuela kitchen, with a ton of cute figurines and a lovely sign that invites customers to talk to one another. Loved it! The menu is small but mighty! The burritos are large and can feed two if your hunger is just average. Rosa's Cafe delivers in flavor! All burritos can come with salsa roja, verde or both on top. Very flavorful, perfectly spicy. The burritos are full, my favorite was the picadillo (husband had the Colorado). Highly recommend Rosa's Cafe if you are looking for authentic, flavorful and potentially spicy burrito! Have I really not rated this place yet?! Rosa's Cafe is excellent! I absolutely love their chorizo breakfast burrito smothered with chili. Because the red and green are delicious but very different from one another, I always get "Christmas " which is half red and half green. Try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed (unless you don't appreciate a little spice in your life). read more

Great food, I got the Colorado burrito and a hamburger one with green sauce. Also a breakfast one to go with bacon. The Colorado one wasn't my favorite but could have been my taste, green sauce one was very tasty and the bacon breakfast one was awesome even heated up the next morning. Cute/Small place, friendly and fast service. Get there early for the breakfast sandwich. They can run out of breakfast potatoes quick. read more

It took me three years but I finally managed to sneak up here from Arizona for another chili Colorado burrito. It was just as good as I remember too. Rosa was working as usual and boy is she ever funny. We laughed about this Arizona boys ears sweating from the spice. I still ordered it un-smothered as that would have been just too much, but even so it was just kicky enough that my lips were tingling by the time I was done. Man that is just one yummy burrito. I just wish I lived here soI could try some of the other offerings on the menu. read more

One of Ogden's best! We went to Rosa's while trying some of the top rated restaurants in Ogden, and wow! It was deserving of the praise. Don't be taken back by the tiny space when you walk in, great things come in small packages in this case. Wanting to sample a variety of the menu, I got a ham and bacon breakfast burrito and my wife ordered a smothered Christmas burrito. The two meat breakfast burrito was amazing and their Chile (salsa/hot sauce) was the best I've had at a restaurant to date. The Christmas burrito was a half Chile verde and half Chile Colorado. Both of us struggled to pick which half was better, because both were that good! We've had our fair share of good Mexican food, and this is right at the top. This place is amazing. Friendly owners and service, and incredible food. I love the smothered style burrito whenever I go west to ski, but this is by far the best I've had anywhere. The handmade tortillas make a huge difference, and the green chili is insanely good. Also had the chili rellenos another day, and that was very good too, especially for a lighter portion. Got the red chili smothered burrito as well. It's spicy but also very very good. Wish I didn't live an hour away from the restaurant otherwise this would be a frequent stop for me. read more

We visited Rosa's after traveling on the FrontRunner. We were looking for a good Mexican food place to have lunch and chose Rosa's. The Cafe is small but has an inviting feel inside. Rosa gave us samples of the different sauces and helped us choose our food. The food is simply delicious. I've been here twice now and each time the food was not only delicious but satisfying - not something that is easy I'll found. Rosa is a wonderful lady willing to take care of you to ensure you have the best experience. She is humble despite having some of the best Mexican food I've tried. Waited only about 10-15 minutes on a busy Saturday afternoon. Parking was hard to find because there are a lot of signs that say no parking nearby. The flavor of the food was truly delicious and full of really good taste. Don't be afraid to try it smothered! That's my favorite. read more

Two words, Chile Verde. The quality of the food here is so good! You can tell they really care about quality here. The tortilla was fresh and homemade, the flavor of the Chile Verde was out of this world, and there was a generous amount of meat in my burrito. The restaurant is kind of hard to find, it took us a few times driving back and forth to find it. There isn't a lot of seating as well, the restaurant is small but for the type of food that's being served here, I'd gladly stand if I had to! read more

Came in and got 3 burritos for my family. We were on a road trip and looking forward to a good easy meal that didn't come from a fast food place. After reading reviews we decided on Rosa's. The burrito was falling apart, thin and watery, not the best for being in a car. No beans in the burrito. Was more like a tamale. Would've been forgivable except the tortilla tasted like it had traces of cleaning product in it and the sauce was extremely spicy. (If Cholula is a 1 and ghost pepper sauce is a 10 this would be a solid 7) Seems like a nice family owned joint but don't recommend the food. read more

Simply fabulous! I was craving some something hearty for breakfast and since the other two places I have been having for breakfast seemed to have misplaced their customer service the last couple of times, I went into the yelp well for yet another miracle. And found it. Rosas makes me think of every hardworking Mexican family restaraunt back home. And the food was absolutely excellent! The huevos rancheros portions were good with good homemade beans. Oh the beans! Good home made beans are a treasure. The ranchero sauce was spicy and test and the eggs were cooked just like I asked. The staff was friendly and kind and attentive and busy. It's seems to be a place for regulars since everyone but me was greeted by name. I hope I can move into that category!! A fifth star is in the making with a few more trips I am thinking ;) read more

Great little hole in the wall place ran by a cute family! The lady at the counter was hilarious and so helpful in helping describe the menu and even let us taste the sauce ahead of time to determine which one to pick! I do not currently live in Utah. But when I did this was then BEST spot ever! I love the vibe, the employees, and most of all the delicious FOOD! My go-to is the Chili Verde Burrito w/ the habanero salsa drizzled on top! It is the most delicious green chile I've ever had! It has a great flavor & it has a kick of heat, w/ the added habanero salsa that gives a tingling sensation around your lips after you are finished! We are not your typical Mexican restaurant, we don’t have a big menu so we definitely have time to focus on what we offer and make sure it’s delicious for everyone to enjoy everyday! Our specialty is Chile Verde & Chile Colorado(both w/shredded pork). We specialize in burritos because our flour tortillas are home made! If burritos aren’t your thing, ask an employee what other options we have. We are known for having spicy food, mild salsa isn’t really our style. Heat level depends on the batch of Chiles that day so don’t always expect it to be the same. We do offer a few things to those that don’t want anything “spicy”. Or if you think you can tough it out, just ask for some horchata or sour cream. We have daily specials so make sure to check our Facebook or Instagram page to find out what it is that day. Wednesdays we have Chicken Enchiladas in a creamy green sauce that Rosa refuses to share her secret on :) Fridays we have Chiles Rellenos, and Saturdays & Sundays we have Menudo & sometimes Chilaquiles as our daily specials. When I dressed it up with onions and salsa from the bar, things improved. Al Pastor taco: 5-stars. One of the best things I ate in Utah. No notes. A perfect taco. Cake: 1.5-stars. I don't know what these were, but they looked appealing as they sat next to the check-out counter. At the last second, I opted to grab one. I took a couple of bites and immediately regretted it. It tasted like it possibly had been sitting in that case since Christmas. I'd happily come back here again when I'm back in Utah just for that Al Pastor taco, but I'd probably opt to try a couple others too.

THE LOCATION: This is where things got a little tricky. Street parking for No Manches Way is basically nonexistent. There is a small lot in the back through a narrow alley alongside the building. THE ATMOSPHERE: Eh... Awkward is a good way to sum it up. There's a tv with a DJ, in what looks like his parents basement, blasting club music. It was much louder than it needed to be for any restraint. Especially during the day. Aside from that, there were some neat murals on the walls and a variety of seating. THE EATS: Having caught wind of the birria craze back in Colorado, I was excited to see that they offered this here! Yay! So I eagerly ordered up a quesa birria (which is essentially a cheese quesadilla with a dipping au jus). My husband chose to nosh on a massive asada burrito, and our friend chose the street tacos. The meals definitely satisfied the craving and filled our tummies. THE DRINKS: Since they're across the street from a church and located in Utah, you will not find beer or liquor here. They do feature Mexican Coca Cola, Parrot juice drinks, among other things. I opted for a Pink Guava juice drink. It definitely paired perfectly with my meal. THE SERVICE: There's no table service here. You place your order at a counter in the back of the restaurant and receive a tray with your food when it's ready. Being the first time I've had birria, I was a little disappointed that how to season the broth was not explained more to me. It came with a plethora of cilantro and onion that I was unsure of how to use. Oh well. No Manches Way was A-OK in my book. I wouldn't be opposed to stopping by again next time we're in town and checking out more of the menu.

Between the friendly service and the menudo this place has won a special place on my list of go to restaurants. It can get a little crowded at times but with great success and good food come the crowds The food is home cooked and the tastes are incredibly authentic. Definitely not the typical La Frontera, La Puente or La "Insert other Spanish Word" restaurant. This place is so authentic that my mom who's a great cook and rarely eats out, doesn't miss a trip to Utah without visiting Rosas or getting take out. read more

Delicious, authentic, high-quality Mexican food. I had the huevos rancheros and they were delicious! They served it with warm, homemade tortillas and a salsa spicy enough to clear out your sinuses. They have a small, simple menu, but also ask about their daily specials. You can tell they care about their food and their customers. I will be back to try out dinner. read more

We visited this cafe yesterday. It's small cafe with menu on the wall. Burrito and kesadilia were amazing. Also we were offered rice and beans. All the food were delicious, have never eat so tasty burrito. All staff were friendly and helpful. read more
