Wonderful authentic Mexican food. I had a combo- shredded beef taco and shredded beef enchilada rice and beans. Not your run of the mill Utah Mexican food. A small restaurant. The owner is the cook and his wife is the server. Owner Juan Pablo came out and visited with us. A terrific guy. The place is sort of out of the way so I'd encourage anyone who likes Mexican food to give it a try. Great service and friendly. read more

Absolutely delicious authentic Mexican food! I'm so glad we tried this restaurant. This is a small little spot on 24th st that I've walked by a few times and finally decided to try. The owner greeted us and took our order at the register and then brought out some chips to the table. There were several salsas to choose from at the little salsa bar and both of the ones we tried were delicious. We ordered the Rojo burrito which came with rice and beans. It was absolutely the best burrito I've had in a long time. The flavors were perfect. The owner also brought out some roasted jalapeños which were mind blowing!! I will definitely be asking for them on our next visit. The restaurant was very clean and had cool little Mexican nick nacks all over. This is officially my new go to Mexican restaurant. read more

I'm torn doing this review, as this appears to be a mom and pop type place that I usually love to support. I will be back for another meal the next time I'm in Ogden for hopefully a better experience, but for now... Our online order was ready roughly 15 minutes after the time it was quoted, and there was only one other online order I saw leave during this time, and no one eating inside (only two people who hadn't ordered). My brother said his food had good flavor but my "super burrito was underwhelming. Normally a $13 super burrito would be more than ground beef and rice, served enchilada style. I guess that's what I get for assuming carne asada and guacamole would be included. Unfortunately it seems the only thing "fine Mexican" was the pricing. read more

Had the number 6 combo platter all chicken. They don't skimp on the meat. I'm a big guy and that filled me up. Prices are reasonable for what you get. My only complaint is I like a lot of sauce and they bake the sauce into the food. I would definitely go back, just need to ask for extra sauce that I can pour over my burrito chimichanga read more

Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. My go to is chili rellenos. Wife does the El pastor tacos. The salsa bar is totally awesome and fresh. Only negative is no cervesa (yet). Family operated and the owners are marvelous. Juan visits every customer when possible. Service is fast. Ambience is quaint pueblo. Fantastic quality meal! My wife and I had the munchies and popped in for a late lunch. i ordered the two item combo, my wife ordered a tostada. Food came to the table quickly, and my crunchy taco was filled with succulent, buttery slow cooked shredded beef. Full of rich flavor. The enchilada was similarly sensual delight. Easily a top restaurant in the downtown Ogden area. 25th street is great and all, but don't miss out on this gem. Really is one of the best Mexican food restaurants in the area, and the owner definitely cares about his diners. 6 out of 5 stars! read more

OUTSTANDING. We just had lunch there for our 41st Anniversary, we think so highly of this restaurant. I know I should highlight some of the food but we've tried most of it and it is great. The fresh salsa offers plenty of choices, try the Avacado, starts mild and gets a nice spice for the finish. Service, Quality, and value are all great The prices are not cheap but not unreasonable. Noticed they just opened a new location on 24th and decided to give it a try. I ordered takeout online and chose the camerones a la diabla. Everything went smoothly and on time. The meal was good with veggies in a delicious spicy sauce along with the shrimp. The beans and rice were also tasty and the entree came with handmade tortillas. Good homemade quality dinner. My only reservation is that the prices seem a bit high but that seems to be the case everywhere these days. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. read more

This is crappy Mexican food. First Mexican place i went to in Utah and he heated up my food in a microwave. This is a sad excuse for Mexican food. Menuto tasted terrible. We love the hole in the wall Mexican restaurants and Juan Pablos doesn't disappoint. There was 8 of us and he was patient with us. We got a few specials that was $10 that included rice, beans and a drink. All the food was tasty and worth the price. We each got a basket of chips and the salsa bar was awesome. The staff was so nice. My son wanted horchata and Juan explained that it's fresh and his son helps him at night. It was so good!!!!
