I haven't been in a Burlington since I was shopping my sister n law's baby registry almost two decades ago. Today I was reminded of why I steer clear of this store. My daughter has a specific jean style that she wears and this child of mine pleaded with me to let her look while we were shopping all over Legends. She found two pairs of her favorite style, but left with one. There was a security tag that Cameron could not remove. We waited at least 20 minutes to check out when there were two cashiers. Came up to Cameron's register, he didn't remove the security tag, but proceeded to let us go through the door. The sensor of course went off and we came back and waited to have her check our bag. What annoyed me more than his bad attitude and admitted to trying to remove said security tag before proceeding to letting us go and turning around and had to wait some more. I hate when people waste my time. This employee is incompetent and needs some serious training. He said he couldn't sell them to us because it shouldn't have been on the floor because it doesn't belong to you? So you're telling me random people go around and place items with their price tags and Security tags for sale on your sales floor? He didn't greet me, but asked if I wanted to make a donation? No thanks! I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Staff working here are in need of a crash course in "customer service". I felt as if I was attending a funeral. No one was smiling or welcoming and being happy was not allowed! This store and it's employees are depressing and miserable. Dressing room hours should be set to accommodate the season. I hate that my teen couldn't try the few items she found and I hate having to go back to stores. Security just said, bring it back if it doesn't work. I hate having my time wasted and I won't come back. I cannot believe this store is still in business and their competitors have gone online. read more

Burlington - Department Stores Near Me - Sparks, Nevada

The price and clothing selection didn't quite meet my expectations. Would I recommend it? No.

Just came here recently, came shopping with my baby. I was almost there for about an hour maybe an hour and half. I had started to get things along the way. My baby started to get fussy and I noticed she needed a diaper change and a feed (I breastfeed). I asked one of the gals if I could possibly use one of the fitting rooms or if they had a bathroom just so I could change and feed my baby. Mind you There was no one in either fitting rooms. At first she was going to escort me but then paused and said she had to ask her manager. When she had asked the manger (FRED), she had told her no. When she had told me what she had said, she laughed and walked away rudely. When I had went up with the item I had the cashier was rudely staring and making rude faces. I decided it wasn't worth buying these items if I was going to be looked/treated a certain way. As a new mother this made me feel horrible. Watch where you go. They seemed nice when I had walked in but once I asked nicely to use a private area the whole energy/vibe shifted. Burlington do better in your management and employees. I'm highly disappointed as this is one of my favorite locations. read more

This store is a major step up than the store in Reno. It is modern and well organized. It is easy to navigate through the store and find well discounted items. If you are into discounted chains, this should meets your needs. I personally not into such an experience, I believe you can find better deals online, but in a crunch when you need a present or a jacket that won't break your wallet, this store can help! read more

I had an amazing experience at this location. It was Sunday the day before the 1st day of school & it was so insane there was hundreds of other shoppers, the line wrapped half way down an aisle. We only waited maybe 10mins. Lisa the cashier looked so exhausted you can tell she's been through it that day. She had a couple rude customers priors but yet her attitude & CUSTOMER SERVICE was still on point & so AWESOME she was still smiling & kept a positive attitude!!! We are happy to have a Burlington on the Sparks end. The new store is just as good as the Reno store with the exception that if you're a larger man, I found the selection to be limited. In a way I guess the reno store is bigger & spoiled me. The rest of my family can't get enough though. The fact that there's a store with normal prices in a somewhat expensive shopping area makes it worth the effort of going to that area & allows to buy the few expensive things I like read more

Want to get followed around the store by half the staff? Or yet again wait in line for a cashier to take 20min to ring someone else. When your next treats you like a no one, better yet want see see associate go on their walkie talkie say great here they come we are never leaving. Yet watch them laugh as you leave the store cause their customer service sucked. Yes this the is place! The visit tonight I had with burgilton was the worst ever. Had the worst customer service. Sales associate nice..manager was awful. My mother applied three times for a credit card. However there system kept going down. So after 45 mins and being rung up 4 times she still would not give 10percent off even though it was errors on them and so we spent 300 bucks and manager who blew us off and an associate wanted to make it right but couldn't..worst service, I'm a manager of a convience store and would never be like this.make it right by the customer. read more

The only reason I go to Burlington is for the shirt and tie combo boxes, they are an amazing deal and every other Burlington I have been to has a huge selection of these. As I am sure you have guessed, this location does not carry these. read more

This is the newer of the two locations in the Reno-Sparks area. I've been pleased to find some nice, inexpensive button-ups as well as a reasonably priced pair of Levi's in my size (I'm tall-ish and fat). Burlington has always been a dependable place to find something to wear, although it can be a bit of a chore to wade through many of the Big and Tall manufacturers who run extremely small (a 4x looks like a 2x or 1xl). They tend to have a ton of tees, but less collared or dressier tops and pants. Shorts are hit or miss and their coats are pretty much nonexistent above a 1x or 2x at this point in the year. Biggest complaints are my wife has a very hard time navigating their women's clothing (the other location is much easier for her to shop) and it's a Burlington, so prepare for long, long, long lines. Not had a customer service issue interacting with employees so far though. read more

Apparently you can not take the baskets outside the wheels lock up by the doors. I injured my wrist and had a baby with me. I had breakable stuff and other items. I was by myself so I had to get all of that my and car seat to the car. The signs are not even eye level or something that would really catch your eye. This store is not family friendly. read more

Burlington is a nice store and since this one is new so it's awesome. Wish I could say the same about the staff. We went in there to shop, found what we wanted and went to pay, we had one item that did not have a price on it. The cashier call over the only guy on staff for a price check. He ignored her the first three times she called him. When she finally got his attention he comes over and after we told him where we got the item he turns to my daughter and asks her to go get it. When my daughter is walking back he goes to her takes it from her hand and proceeds to scan it. The cashier turns to him and thanks him, my daughter and I look at each other wondering what the hell he did. And the cashier just looked at us as if we were dumb. I'll go shop at the old one for better service. I'm not doing people's jobs for them. I work in customer service and I have to run around and get parts and if a customer grabs something I say thank you to him not to who scans it. read more

I wish I could give no star to this store! I came in about 10:30ish pm to grab 2 items, as I walk in, no greet, 3 workers standing and talking, by the way, they see me come in! I mean, how more rude can you get! I understand it's almost closing time, but come on, you only got 30 more minutes for crying out loud! The employees need more training on how to do customer service! I wouldn't recommend coming to this store in the area! Never again for me!
