I've been to this Vans Outlet dozens of times... the best part of this place is the BOGO50 deal they offer year-round. However, it's the worst part too. In addition to a small selection of men's, women's, and kids' clothing and accessories, this outlet is primarily filled with shoes. The way it works here is you can buy any shoe and get a sale shoe for 50% off. They have brand-new, non-sale shoes available, but a much smaller selection than at a typical Vans retail store. The catch here is that many of the sale shoes are the same, but in different sizes, or are super unpopular patterns or styles that no one wanted. No wonder they ended up at the outlet! This definitely isn't the place you want to visit if you're looking for a particular Vans shoe. You have to be flexible here. I have also had on-and-off service at this location. Most of the time, the employees are helpful and kind, but sometimes they seem uninterested in helping you, and the checkout line is often long with just one person working, even though they have two registers. Good for flexible shoe shoppers hunting for a deal, but if you're a particular individual looking for a specific shoe, maybe just head to a Vans retail store. read more

Got a gift card for Christmas for vans, came in to do some shopping. Asked for my size in a pair ,they didn't have it besides the display which was fine with me so i checked out and come to realize when i got home they gave me two different sizes. I came in today to swap them out and move on about my day The Cashier that helped me was so rude for no reason she had an attitude and insinuated i stole the shoes because one was a display. I understand she might of been having a rough day but that doesn't make it right to be rude to customers. She handed me the right shoes but once i got home one of the shoes had a black stain on the top right. I'm not sure if the shoe came like that or if she purposely damaged it, it's hard to not insinuate anything after the interaction i had with her. read more

This is an outlet store located at the Outlets at Legends mall. They have a good selection of shoes, at least in my size. I can wear 9 1/2 or 10. As others have noted, they pretty much have a perpetual buy-one-get-one for half-price sale. I was only looking for a single pair of shoes but found two I liked. I saved $50 from what the same shoes were selling for online, so I was very happy. Service was friendly. Employees wandered the floor offering assistance, but were not pushy. In a time when customer service seems to be a distant memory, this Vans store reminds me of a time when staff were friendly, attentive and playful with a sense of humor. I was visiting my parents in Reno and my 80 year old mother loves to shop. We spent hours at the vans store leaving with 5 pairs between us. The staff, specifically Jacelin was patient and kind to my 80 year old boomer mother and even when we returned shoes the next day because they were hurting her feet the staff at the register was again kind, patient and all around good people. I come from a place and time; southern CA during the 70s, skate/surf culture and Vans has always had a special place in my heart and therefore it's even more encouraging to see a global company having come so far and still making every single customer feel important. So at 6:32 we were turned away at the door, the accociate that greeted us said they close at 7:00 so everyone in the store at this time had to be out by 7:00. What a joke, open till 7:00 means no more customers allowed in, and anyone inside at 7:00 is good. That's what happens when you have kids running your store that want to be home... read more

Van is a good store for good skate shoes! We got some shoes here and they were priced fair. One pair was on the expensive side but in the long run they were pretty good. The staff was helpful and very nice. The staff here was helpful and asked if we needed help. We told them we were just browsing for now and the politely said let us know if you need help. Then they walked away. It was a good store for purchasing vans. We bought a couple and some shirts. This store is in a shopping center and parking is plentiful. But you will need to walk a bit to get here. There are plenty of other stores to checkout also. This Vans store is in the Outlet and next to Scheels. They have decent prices here and usually they have a buy one get one free/50% off sale. So, keep that in mind your in the market for Vans. One little thing is that the aisles are a bit on the small size so not good for baby strollers and carts. Thanks for reading my review. read more

Never met a BOGO I didn't like and they always have one here (or at least, I've never not seen one when I've visited). A great store for back to school shoe and clothe shopping, and I've long been a fan of their line. I've picked up shoes on clearance here for as low as $5 when the BOGO was applied to the marked down price and again being a fan of their fashion and line, couldn't be happier shopping here. Shopping here easily beats any deal you'll find on Amazon and I say that as a huge fan of shopping from my computer and avoiding people. The check out can at times be a little slow, there are only two registers, and when it gets busy the process can become a little hampered. Still well worth the wait, and they've always been friendly. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT GO TO this vans store they first off are only letting like 7 ppl in at a time which isn't a big deal it's understandable but when the lady at the register is literally talking everybody's ear off and not getting her job done that's where the prob comes. I have been waiting in line for 45 mins and there were only three ppl in front of me. I don't know what she could possibly have to say to these ppl but come on. I still have one more person to go and she is just talking this ladys ear off the lady keeps trying to leave and she just keeps bringing her back in. We love Vans shoes for their comfort and style, and the whole family wears them. It's nice to have this outlet store so close to home and pretty convenient to access, and the pricing is decent, although it can feel like a bit of a hike in from the parking lot if you're only coming to the outlet mall to quickly pick up a pair of shoes at this one particular store (which we are known to do). read more

My fiancé and I decided us and the wedding party were going to wear vans for the wedding. We went to the vans store and discovered that they didn't carry this specific shoe in the store. Online they only had it in a few sizes. The manager Greg Hart reassured us that if we had to custom order the shoes in the event that they didn't restock in time, he would help us with the cost. Our luck, they stopped making the shoe entirely! We had to custom order 4 pairs of shoes that looked exactly like the ones we wanted. Once they came in, we took them to Greg and he helped us get the difference back! He was nice and efficient. We will definitely be going back to that store to see Greg again! read more

If you have the time to dig around and search through a bunch of shoes, you might be able to get a good deal. Anything that isn't full price is along the wall. There you'll find a menagerie of all different kinds of Vans shoes sorted by size. Well organized, yes. Great selection, not always. You'll definitely see why they're not full priced. Other than that, they have a bunch of plain Vans for the normal price. Nothing normally that stands out. The clothes are usually on sale, but unless you're into that tween kind of thing, it might not be for you. read more

The Vans at the Meadowood mall has a much better selection of shoes. This store at Legends is okay, but it is so hard to find what you need. The layout is just plain horrible. Once I got in and was given the speech on social distancing and masks, which is good they are still trying to do that rule. But it is hard at times to stay 6ft apart since the isles are so narrow. I saw a couple of the girls in the front area that were chatting it up so much that I had asked them 4 times trying to find a shoe and they kept ignoring me. This is what is wrong with this generation. Pick a damn hair color and do you freaking job. I just wanted to know where a certain shoe was that I saw online and I had to wait for these gossip queens to finish their conversation and they still did not even help. The fact that one was a manager blew my mind. They completely ignored me. It wasn't until one of the guys from the back came out to put shoes out. he stopped and helped me. Pointer for the managers, especially little gossip queen one, I you don't want people to stay in there long, maybe try and help find what they need. read more

No complaints with this store. I stop in every time I'm in the legends shopping center to check out the sales. They've always had really good deals here, mainly the buy 1 get 1 half off of classic shoes (which is perfect for me since I can never narrow down my selections in here). I love that they have the toy story collections and the MLB collections ( super bummed they were low on sizes for the San Francisco Giants, but that's to be expected ). I walked out of there with 2 pairs of classic shoes and 2 backpacks for $65. Can't beat that, the shoes were buy 1 get 1 half off and the backpacks were buy 1 get 1 FREE. I was not going to pass that offer up. Now my 5 year old brother and I have matching buz lightyear backpacks! All the staff was friendly, there were 3 girls about my age working.
