There is a huge difference between reminding customers that you're closing and being rude to them. We were treated like an inconvenience rather than paying customers. This experience completely ruined our impression of the business, and I hope management takes customer treatment more seriously in the future.

The second time, I was there to exchange two out of the three shoes I purchased. He quoted me their return policy and after I mentioned how he never stated that the first time I purchased shoes there AND I pointed out that he was the one that helped me, he then came at me saying "They do not have to disclose that with customers" like, what? Which one is it and why lie to a customer? As an employee you should hold yourself accountable and provide the correct information. I told him afterwards that I planned to write a review on this experience and he threatened me with getting security on me. LIKE WHAT?? For him being in the wrong? Never again. Not worth it. I would never begrudge somebody's right to take their lunch, but I don't think it was fair to her, that she was the only employee there. I get that finding employees is hard, but at the same time, I think more than one person should be working in the store. The lady that was working was really nice, and we were just there to pick up an online order, but when we were there, there were some other people that needed to pick up their online orders too. I'm giving it five stars, because the lady that was there was awesome! For the sake of any employee that is stuck there by themselves, I highly recommend that the company hire more people, because I couldn't imagine being the only employee in a multi customer situation like today. I appreciate that the clothes are actually organized, and they have one of the best shoe selections of any store. The prices are generally good and reasonable, but the clearance prices are often extreme deals with the caveat of very limited selection (obviously though, since it's clearance). They also have a really good selection of skin care, hair care, and make up. Those are the discounts I often end up appreciating the most!

Apparently loss prevention staff was monitoring someone and actually prevented him from walking away with a shopping bag of items.. I'm glad retail stores embrace the prevention of shoplifters.. rather than some stores just taking the loss and letting them walk away..although is the safety of an employee worth it.. is always a other view.. I did good- no shoes- no handbags just two sweaters- hehehe.. if you use your Nordstrom card you save 5%.. !!
