By nature, Nike factory stores can be real hit or miss. So I can't critique this one toooo harshly. Unfortunately by my standards my visit today was a bust. I typically look for retro Jordan's and there was literally nothing on the clearance walls. It was just full of "mall Jordan's", and old running and basketball shoes I visit a ton of Nike factory stores and I don't think I've ever been to one where there weren't at least decent shoes in the mens, women's, or children's sections. That said, I still didn't come out empty handed. I was in need of some running shoes so I found a decent pair for $30. Can't beat that. read more

We decided to go into the Nike store to pick up great walking shoes for an upcoming trip. I usually walk to the discounted rack to see what they offer. I pray customer service experience ever especially a cashier named Rusty. Very rude and unprofessional behavior. Instead of helping us out with the discounts mentioned around the stores he sounded more agitated that we were buying a lot of stuff. He said "you guys are throwing a lot at the cashier and he's a new hire". Well, why are you putting a new hire at the register knowing it's your most busiest day of the week? I have always loved a good pair of Nike's so when I needed some new shoes I decided to try the Nike outlet store at Legends Mall. When I first went in I was greeted by friendly staff right away. After picking my shoes I went and paid for them. In and our real quick.The next day I went to go put them on and noticed a little dirt on the toe and back by the heel like they had been worn already then I noticed the eyelet thing for the shoestring was ripping off from the shoe. I grabbed them up and took them back to the store. I was expecting to get an unwelcomed feel but it was the opposite. I showed the guy working what the problem was and he went to the back and got me another pair and did the exchange with no problems. He was very nice and professional about it which made the experience so much nicer. I love this store and will continue to buy from this store in the future read more

My most recent visit was for school shopping so I'd think that time of year would have a great selection and possibly sales but it was pretty disappointing. I stopped in yesterday to buy a Christmas gift and I was so impressed by the excellent service I received. The store was crowded as one would expect on the weekend during the Christmas season. My boyfriend and I were visiting Reno for a few days to celebrate opening up his new gym. We always stop at the bike outlet and shop because it's way better deals than California where we are from. I purchased this super cute beanie while I out shopping with my sister and our friend. It was origianlly $28 but it was on sale for $10, which is a pretty good deal for a beanie! Especially a Nike one. They had quite a few good deals going on. The store was also well stocked and neat. Nothing was out of order and the shoes aisles were all picked up (unlike other shoe stores I've visited). I could have visited on a good day, but from the looks of other reviews it seems to be well kept the majority of the time. I will definitely be back to purchase more things soon! read more

Well one of there associates by the name of Drew was do knowledge and had the most wonderful disposition, helpful and knowledgeable with being in the least bite pushy. Just a pleasure to deal with. What a great store this is! Outlet Nike store located at Legends in Sparks. All of these stores are outside facing so you will be outside a lot going from store to store...bundle up because it can get quite cold. They are located nearest to the back center of the complex. During this visit, we actually found it easier to park in the Burlington parking lot located on the backside of the mall. Not only was the walk a little shorter but parking was easier to find versus parking up front. First impressions of this store was how clean it was. The staff was very helpful and friendly and not once did we have to go search for someone when we had a question. We found that prices on their store goods to be somewhat comparable to other stores on a number of their items but for the most part; I would say that we did save some money by coming here. At the checkout, they had four people up there so waiting time was minimal. I am not someone who wants to linger in a store. I come in for specific items and want to get and get out. The easy layout helps in this store. I can maneuver quickly and efficiently. I live in Sacramento, California but always head over to the reno nike store when in town. Reno's store is sooo much better than ours. I wear a size 13 so my size is pretty much always out of stock with the good shoes in Sacramento. Have really had no problems at all in Reno. They have air maxes, jordans, dunks, and all other popular nike shoes. They always have a table full of 21$ shoes that get knocked down to like 15 at the register. I've gotten shoes out of here for like 40 bucks. They always have nike shirts on sale and everything. I would advise no one go to finishline/champs/footlocker to buy shoes. Just wait a few months and it will be at the nike store for like 50-70% off. I kinda hate the fact that our nike factory store in sac is a tad bit more expensive. Makes me wanna just head over to reno more often..... The store is clean and very organized as well. Plus on the futhest wall in the back sits a lot of clearance shoes that are all 70% off I've seen griffeys, jordans, and nike nomos. Deals that hust can not be beat. read more

I think it's great that we have this place in Reno. If you like Nike, it's worth going here. You are gonna save some cash on shoes and sporty supplies. This store is the most unreliable store there is... seems like they close whenever they please. The store is constantly closed for no reason or they close early without any notice. I've never seen a store that has more issues. They had multiple customers waiting outside and all they could say was "due to unforeseen circumstances we are closing early". The hours state they are open until 7pm and they never seem to be open until then. They are letting thousands of dollars walk away. I will never give my money to this location again. I would rather give my money to a store that appreciates their customers. If it was possible to give them zero stars I would. The employees are very rude as well. When I asked about why they always close early they get very rude and give some generic answer. I was visiting from Elk Grove, CA and wanted to get some new shoes for my son. l went in and saw a pair of nice shoes for my son. The shoe box was marked as clearance 39.99, some boxes were also marked with the sticker suggested price of 64.99. So I clarified with one of the sales associates which price is correct. He confirmed that he saw the inconsistencies of the boxes labeled as 64.99 and 39.99...so he indicated that I can have them for the 39.99. Get to sales counter and they said they couldn't honor the 39.99. WTF...... What I observed was.... how sloppy their placement of price stickers ...you can clearly see 1) the suggested price 64.99, 2) The clearance price 39.99, And then 3) marked it back up to the suggested price 64.99.....if you mark them down and then mark them back up to the original price doesn't make sense... Word of advice to the reno nike outlet... make sure you cover the suggested price, with the clearance price, and then if you decide to mark them back up to the suggested price...cover the clearance price too. I really like the atmosphere of the nike factory store. I am also a big fan of the prices! Everyone that works there is super friendly and I feel like if I needed assistance I would not have to look very far! It feels like they have a ton of people working and they are everywhere! The boxes of shoes are always neatly stacked, which probably helps having so many people working there! You don't find a lot of boxes left out and shoes sitting around. Amazing deals can be had and discounts continue as shoes stay on the shelf. Great size choices. About the only thing "Nike" I did not see, but could have missed, was golf clubs ans golf balls. She said she wanted to go shopping before she went back home so we happened to stop at Legends since I live close to there. One of our stops of course, Nike. Now... Where the 2 stars come in is bcuz I guess they recently had a hiring frenzy and I saw all these new people in the shoes section that I haven't seen before and I think of myself as a regular over there. One of the kids that my mom would not stop complaining bout was this Indian kid. He's a very polite guy and his customer service was pretty flippin good and not pushy but his personal hygiene: D- We both felt uncomfortable at most times. I was able to walk away when the smell got too much but as far as my mom it was a little hard for her to just say "LEAVE" since we were shopping for her. Other than this little incident, this place has pretty amazing staff and I highly recommend to go in when he's not there. I went in the Nike Factory Store today thinking about getting a new pair of running shoes but I really had no idea whether or not I'd walk out with a pair. I was immediately greeted but nobody really asked me what exactly I was looking for until I was wandering about in the woman's running shoes section clearly confused and an employee named ERWIN came up to me and asked me if I was finding everything I need. Having a bit of an attitude and to mess with him just to get a reaction :) - i dryly responded no. He got it (luckily!) and started asking me what I was looking for, running , cross training ,etc, and I told him I have high arches, get bad shin splints, and how often I run. He started grabbing all different styles of shoes and explaining the arch support, heel support, toe support, and whatever other specific details about running shoes exist (believe me he covered all points). In the end I had narrowed it down to two pairs and he was again really great in helping me make my final decision. He was awesome and I'll be back in 10 months (the time period he gave for the amount I run before I'll need a new pair) and ask for him. As for all the other employees- ehhh whatever. read more
