The owner Brooke was lovely to chat with, very knowledgeable about the items in her store. To my delight This is the same owner/store as the one in Truckee that I have loved going to for years. Beautifully curated with gift items, home decor, jewelry and so much more. I have always found fantastic pieces at the Truckee location and now I don't have to travel so far to find well crafted items for home, family or friends.

Brooke has done an amazing job with the items she's selected and is always willing to help and talk about the pieces, as are any of the staff members. I popped in today and they have gorgeous Christmas items; you can't go wrong taking a peek or taking something home with you! In the past we only came here for the following: Apple Store, Lululemon (taking a break from this brand now), Starbucks (only when it is on the way). Now we have added the following business to our list: Carhartt, Mt. Rose Wine Co., Reno Running Company, etc. Also, it helps us visit some of our favorite restaurants here - Land Ocean, Skipolinis, and Miyabi. Chipotle just opened, but we are not a customer any more. And a free standing Starbucks is STILL being built. Atmosphere - Huge mall that is rarely busy. Well, they are getting busier and busier again thanks to Trader Joe. Plenty of parking. Convenient location for us, easy in and out from highways. Open 7 days a week from 10am or 11am to 6pm or 7pm. Pet friendly, see the tiny dog park/area. Free wifi, I have not used it. Service - Good. Price - Good, some might say upscale. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2006. We were happy when you built this mall, too bad we have not been big customers until now. There are a few upper middle market shops like Apple, Kendra Scott, and Tabot's. But then you have Five Below and Dillard's. It's like, do they want to be fauncy or low-brow? This mall isn't even remotely pedestrian-friendly. Large parking lots and narrow sidewalks separate shopping sections which are far apart and not easily walkable if you have a stroller, a walker or are in a wheelchair.

We were kind of dreading making multiple stops in the limited time we had and decided to drop into Five Below since it was in the same plaza as the Apple store. To our surprise, this location had balloons for $1 and they filled them with helium on the spot. We looked around the store and there were cards and tissue paper and gift bags other items we needed. Very quickly we had completed out To Get List and were able to head back to the convention without any other stops. Major props to Grace who helped my wife fill the balloons. This store saved our day, and we'll definitely return the next time we are in Reno.

You'll find everything you're looking for to plant in your Reno garden, with plants that are grown for Reno's climate. I also find Old Stone House to have better options for food producing plants and trees than other nurseries in the area. Old Stone House is larger than it looks and you can easily get lost in the maze of wonderful plants and garden decor and supplies. I could easily spend hours here. They offer a one year guarantee on their trees, a 10% military discount, and have extremely helpful and friendly staff. We've bought white lavender, an apricot tree, a peach tree, and a beautiful Ash tree from here. I can't wait to see them in the spring and in the years to come.

I could spend hours here! Everything seem to be in great condition, and the priced very reasonably. What I really liked about this place is that the owners are friendly, but they left us alone. So many antique stores assume that the customers are there to steal things. When they send workers after us to watch, it is very uncomfortable and hurtful. These owners didn't do that, and I really appreciate that. Thank you for treating customers with respect! I think I'll be a repeat visitor, and I know someday I will find exactly what I've been looking for!

Other stores are a complete madhouse when candle day rolls around, but somehow this location managed to make it a pleasant experience. The candles were all well-stocked, the employees were all very nice and knew where each candle scent was located, and the checkout line moved quickly. I've visited many Bath & Body Works during candle day sales, but I've never left feeling so impressed with a store's operations. We went in for a design consult with little or no idea of what I wanted, where to start, how to add furniture to a room where we had already painted, picked carpet, etc (did it a bit out of order). Karen was so patient, polite, understanding, knowledgeable, about the products and fabrics that she made everything easy for me. I left there not only knowing what I need for my space, but dimensions, fabric choice, print out of other options, etc. I'll be back when it comes to adding lighting and other accessories!
