I believe his name is Aaron (longish black hair) because he is such a fantastic hype man! He is always bubbly and enthusiastic, and makes me feel so good about my purchases. I generally dread small talk interactions at check-outs, but he makes it genuinely enjoyable. The store itself is great too. If you like to shop at places like Marshall's, Sierra, TJ Maxx, etc., this is definitely the best version of them. I appreciate that the clothes are actually organized, and they have one of the best shoe selections of any store. The prices are generally good and reasonable, but the clearance prices are often extreme deals with the caveat of very limited selection (obviously though, since it's clearance). They also have a really good selection of skin care, hair care, and make up. Those are the discounts I often end up appreciating the most!

Apparently loss prevention staff was monitoring someone and actually prevented him from walking away with a shopping bag of items.. I'm glad retail stores embrace the prevention of shoplifters.. rather than some stores just taking the loss and letting them walk away..although is the safety of an employee worth it.. is always a other view.. I did good- no shoes- no handbags just two sweaters- hehehe.. if you use your Nordstrom card you save 5%.. !!

People are friendly and unlike Ross they always have most of the cashiers working especially the weekends. Plus, they open at 7am during the holidays. I had to return something and there was no one ahead of me in line and it took me 5 minutes!!! Well-done. So, needless to say, there aren't enough Marshalls, and I wish there were more, but I will continue to enjoy the ones they do still have in Reno.

After trying a few other stores and spending over an hour searching, we left empty-handed. We decided to take a drive to Dillard's, and I'm so thankful we did. Within a minute of walking in, Charles greeted us and offered assistance without us even asking--which is definitely rare these days. I explained what we were looking for and a few specific requirements. As he walked us through the options, I mentioned that we needed a wide fit. He was honest and let us know they didn't carry traditional wide sizes, but then took the time to show us ECCO shoes with dual-fit insoles as an alternative. I can't say enough about how much we appreciated Charles. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. He listened carefully, stayed calm while we tried on different pairs, and didn't hesitate when we asked for another size. We later found out he actually helped open this location--congratulations to him on his 20th anniversary! Dillard's management--you truly have a gem in Charles. You should be very proud to have him representing your store.

I am thinking of Good Guys, Bed Bath & Beyond, Borders, Claim Jumper, Chevys... An the sole survivor has been World Market. I am sure it is because they are unique and relevant. This retailer offers kind of merchandise that always leaves me looking for what is new. Over the years the store has had different management that and stock levels sometimes looks great and sometimes looks a bit over shopped.. There was only one employee, and only one other customer. The whole experience was completely ruined by this employee. I asked for her name, and with an attitude she said it was Meghan. I was interested in the Maurice's credit card, which was one of the main reasons I came in.
