After this visit today, I will not be coming back to Burlington Coat Factory! I went in to make a return, and was told immediately that there was no cash for them to give me for my return. And the best they could offer me was a gift card, which is unacceptable. I'm not sure if their doing this as a tactic to not give you your money back, but I couldn't do a simple return today. My question to management is how in the world do you conduct business with not having cash inside of your register? And if you're planning to not do cash anymore, you have to actually have a sign outside of your store saying you don't take cash anymore and only take credit cards This trip was a complete waste of my time, and very frustrating to say the least. And another thing that totally eked me about the situation is when the cashier had an attitude with me while she was telling me that she had no cash to give me for my return. The audacity of some people. If anybody's gonna be upset, it would be me, because you haven't even done your job. If you want some good deals, I would suggest going to Ross or TJ Maxx and completely avoid Burlington for good if you can. This was probably one of the worst experiences. It's hit or miss with this chain. This chain has the largest selection of socks for boys, girls, men, and women. There are cartoon characters. There are theme socks. There are crew socks. There are quarter socks. And there are the long knee socks too. Also usually has a good selection of PJ's for the stringbean, too. Usually a good selection on the boys shoes though his feet are growing at an almost alarming rate. We found some underwear for him here in the past. I think we've found Peanuts items. I hardly find anything for me in the clothing department. Sometimes I check out the underwear. But I usually check out their Tea selection. Visited on a Thurs morning to get a new cutting board and some summer outfits. But, I was met with a guard giving me stern warnings not to push on his gate before he buzzes me in and took a solid minute to eye me up and down before letting me pass. I was holding my hands up like I was being inspected by the TSA. I was alone, no bags, no coat, tiny purse... and I'm a senior. Ridiculous. Do you want people to shop or not? There is someone at the front monitoring, you can only be aloud in from a security guard opening and closing a rope to allow you in. The store was a reck, everything looked thrown around. Toys, clothes, bags, you name it, it was slung all over the place. First thought that my husband thought is wow it looks like a Ross. Burlington in California looks way different. Prices were fairly low for toys, jackets were $20 Plus, so prices varied between different selections of the store. read more

I came in here last night to buy some clothes for a wedding just in case my pants didn't fit me since I haven't worn those slacks in a long time. Going to check out they only had 2 registers open which was ok, but they had 2 customers who were being problematic. They took so long that the line grew quick. Instead of opening a 3rd register the line just kept getting longer. My old slacks fit me so I went back to return the one I bought. Same problem, except when I came in the line was already long with 2 registers open. There was no customer service for returns so I had to stand in the same line that everyone else was in so you know that took 20 to return one item. read more

This is now the closest store to me, located in the Best of the west shopping center where the Babys R Us used to be. They must be doing pretty well to be opening another store. I remember when there was just the one on Jones and the outlet mall, but there are a few more around the valley now. I liken these stores to Ross dress for less, Marshall's and TJ maxx. You have to go thru the racks and shelves to find your bargains and there are some. You just don't know what day you will find them! All the stores are set up pretty much the same. They carry womens, mens, and children's clothing. There's shoes, toys, housewares and of course all the little gadgets and phone accessories where you stand in line and browse until you pay. Because this is a new location, everything was fully stocked and neat. There were tons of employees stocking the racks and shelves. I can wait to see what I'll find on my next visit. They have a rewards programs. Just add your email to be notified of store events and get e-receipts. read more

Very unorganized and I only got two small items. But wait till you ge to the line... everything is a mess. It looks so ugly. And I understand people are very disrespectful by not caring where they leave stuff they are not buying but that also happens at Marshall's, tj maxx at the same shopping center and it doesn't look like that, because they are probably cleaning after. Went to this location about a week ago to look for some Disney Stuff. Man did I regret coming to this location. The store was so messy and unorganized. Everything was thrown all over the place & a lot of the isles were empty!!! There were barely any selection of purses or shoes & even the clothes! The best way to describe this store is, it's like a Goodwill or Savers. It was so trashy inside & None of the stuff I came for was there. Maybe I came on a bad day or a day when they haven't gotten any stuff in yet?? I have no idea but I definitely would not come back to this location. I love Burlington but Employee from Burlington on Rainbow is very rude . 1st time my mother came to buy socks and asked her a question of specific ones and she immediately just said we just have sport socks I don't know and walked away . 2nd time 15 mins left as we were walking towards the register and said" we are closed now " I then said "oh I'm sorry I thought you closed at 11" she then gave me a look and walked away . About time we have a Burlington on this side of town! This location opened October 2019 and whenever I stop by it's busy. By far, this location has a quick cash wrap and you are in and out with ease. Prices for name brands are reasonable. Like many other "dress for less" stores the patrons weave in and out of the aisles leaving a bit of a mess so expect it. Overall the location is good and the selection is decent. You can tell they are trying to appeal to diverse costumers understandably. So if you are looking for more urban inventory visit the location on Sahara and Jones. My absolute fav are the e-receipts, you no longer have to be concerned with keeping up with your receipts just add you email and they'll electronically be delivered making exchanges and returns easy and effortless. read more

Any Burlington Store will have long lines due to minimal cashiers. Expect to wait 15-20+ minutes each time we go. Sometimes, it deters us from making a purchase because the lines are dreadful with one or two employees. However, the prices are usually great deals and that is why we keep Burlington in mind when we need things... This location has an older, chubby woman with glasses named Katrina. She is rude, unprofessional, and needs serious customer service training. The way she treats customers is horrible. She will discriminate you and assume you are lying. The check out line was very crowded and felt unsafe. When I asked the cashier about the 6 foot social distancing law that is in Nevada she said they don't enforce it when they get a crowd. People are next to each other in line and EVERY cash register that is Not even 2 feet away is open. No social distancing - not following Nevada guidelines. Also product packaging that I was purchasing was damaged I asked the cashier if I can have a discount of 10% normally the stores sometimes give it since it's not presentable to sell. If I could leave zero stars for this location, I would. I dropped in only because I hadn't shopped at Burlington for a while & hadn't been to this particular store for even longer. I typically go to the store on Craig & Clayton. This store is a HOT MESS. I went about an hour after it opened. Every single aisle I went down had stuff merchandise on the floor. Wrong merchandise that belonged elsewhere. I went to the plus sized shirts & there was more kids & men's clothing on this rack then women's plus sized clothing. I was SHOCKED at the shoe section. They had cordoned off the end of every row & zip tied shelving so you can't go up/down each aisle. There is one way in & one way out. I am sure this is probably a fire hazard & will report to the city of Las Vegas. When I got in line to pay, the line wrapped around & were at least 30 people deep. They had one cashier open. They opened a second but that didn't last long. After waiting in line 30 minutes & I arrived at the front they brought in 2 more cashiers. The cashier I had was a sweetheart & I wish her well working at this horrible store. She's a new employee who'd only been on the register one other time. Her name is Kea & she was the only bright spot in this MESS of a store & she did a great job. I will not, under any circumstances, shop or return to this store. read more

On March 1, 2024 at around 7 in the evening, I went to make a return. There was a long line. When I finally got the register, and Micah, the cashier just stared at me. When I said, " I'm here to do a return, " she said, " okay," and she waited for me to take the item out of the bag which I did. I struck up a conversation with her, asking her if the reason the line was long was because of people were receiving their tax returns. She answered rudely " I DONT KNOW". She looked unhappy and miserable. After the transaction, she said, " Oh, now I know what you were asking, " as if realizing how rude she had been to me. My daughter and I walked towards the restroom to find and employee so we asked her if there was any way we could try them on. She said "you can buy the dresses and try them on in the restroom."
