My only complain was that there was almost a fight with some teenagers inside the store which made me nervous with my baby. This store never has anything for women bigger than a size small. Bras? Forget it! Unless you have tiny tits. Nothing in the home section that isn't a California King or a Twin. I really like this Macy's. It has a good selection of products compared to the galleria mall location. This Macy's has a Starbucks at the bottom level and nearby that it has a sitting room on the men's side. There are fitting rooms at each section, not like other stores that have existing fitting rooms but are being closed off or used as storage. There is a Finish Line at the bottom level and at the top there is a Macy's backstage (Macy's brand clearance). It's a huge section of discounted clothes, toys and home items. At the top level where the kids clothing is, there is a Toys R Us! Love that even though the freestanding stores are closed, Macy's chose to carry on Geoffrey the Giraffe's legacy. read more

Macy's, it is the new Kmart. Horrible service from store manager on 2/21/25 PM. When I attempted to talk to the "Manager on Duty", Brittney would not return my calls. I was not even calling with a complaint! She had no idea why I was calling. I left several messages, and was continually told she would call me back. Did not happen. When I "accidentally" got her on the phone, she said she could not hear me/bad connection (I was in the Macy's parking lot) and would call me right back. I knew I would not get a call back, and I did not. 2/22/25 - Drove back to store and purchased a Breville Coffee Maker - got it home, unpacked it and noticed it was used. Coffee Grinds still in machine. Black oily finger prints. Scratches in the metal lid to water tank. Dirt and residue in the water tank area. Called toll free customer service number. After explaining I purchased in store, off-shore customer service person asked me several times for my order number. There is no order number. I had to repeat my self several times on the issue. No apology, no recommendations to resolve. "return to local store and order another with a 2 week ship time". At least, confirm the error for selling a used and DIRTY machine. Escalated to his supervisor, also off-shore, who mimicked the first person. No apology, no agreement that dirty machines should not be sold. Repacked it, drove it to the store, walked a few doors down to Crate and Barrel - purchased a new one there -(really new) - great service - same price. read more

Today I had the most pleasant experience at Macy's Downtown Summerlin in the Sunglass section. Most of my experiences there have been iffy, but this time I was greeted by Riley (an associate) who helped me choose some sunshades just for me. Riley was attentive and gave me a one on one shopping experience. She did not pretend to be too busy to assist. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and plan to do a little more retail therapy at Downtown Summerlin's Macy because of her. I know everyone says this Macy's is large but coming from California I would say that this Macy's is small. It's only two floors but I don't expect much here in Vegas. This is the second time have actually visited the store. It's clean and they carry Brands like guess, Levi's, Inc and Kate Spade.. The parking is way easy. You can either Park on the street side in front of the Bath & Body Works or you can park in the lot next to the store. It's nice that you can park and just walk in, no more walking a mile to get in a store. They are actually having their VIP sale and I was shocked when I was unable to find an employee to assist me. One guy that I asked about a sweatshirt told me to go to the register. The girl that should have been working the register with spending her time having 7 minute conversation with another customer. After waiting for that conversation to end, she claimed that the item that I wanted needed to be ordered. She then proceeded to place my order only to charge me ten bucks extra for the shipping. I was shocked to learn that they don't ship to the store for free like Nordstrom does and they didn't offer free shipping. Immediately cancelled the offer. I later remembered that I did try to place an order online the day before and anything over $25 was being offered free shipping. What kind of scam was this employee trying to run? Methinks you should have more employees on the floor during a sale. A few registers open would have been great. The upstairs area and the shoes seem to be right on it. The girl never left the register and helped me right away. Not sure how many times they do their 30% VIP sale, but I scored some adorable ruffled Kate Spade shoes and some Guess shoes.. this is a great deal. I got a couple pairs of shoes that I didn't need but who can pass up shoes at 30% off? . I am sure they know that this will be a very busy time so they should have extra staff. read more

I love that this Macy's has a Starbucks inside with a bathroom. This is a great feature to have when you want shoppers to stay longer. Also, if you enter Macy's on the Starbucks side (on the left), the return cashiers are on right which made returning my blouse super easy. I liked the ease of getting around in this Macy's. It is bright, well organized and has lots of selections. It does not have the run down look a lot of Macy's are beginning to have. I appreciate that. The workers were very helpful with my questions. we originally went in for a repair on my gold bracelet and it came back with poor repair. We sent it out again and still wasn't pleased with the repair but Anne and her manager ( I missed her name) went through great efforts to return the damaged bracelet and get us an even better bracelet that was similar to my original. I have come to this location 4 times with each experience being both positive and negative. They tend to have extremely unhelpful associates, but I found for some reason, that in a certain part of mens clothing, those associates consistently are helpful! The first time I went here I wanted a pair of pants that the website showed they had in stock. I asked a young gal for help and she said they didnt have them, without even looking and went off to lunch. I asked another woman, she told me she didnt know since she was just a stocker. So I went to a different woman named Tracy near the dress shirts and she went to the back and found them! She was so nice and apologized on behalf of the others. The dress clothing area is the best place to find help! BUT The last time I was there I bought a few things while picking up a pair of jeans I purchased online since they didn't have my size. Well the gal, I believe Maria was her name forgot to take off the security device. So I went back two days later and a young Japanese woman gave me the friggin 3rd degree when I walked in asking her to remove it showing the receipt. She checked the jeans, tags, paperwork while giving me an ocular pat down as if I stole them! I couldn't believe the way I was treating having just walked directly to her from the doors directly to the right of the pick up area. That realllllllly pissed me off to be seemingly accused of trying to steal when I am a regular Macy's shopper. Now I tend to go to the ones in San Diego or Hawaii when I am working since they tend to be a bit nicer. read more

I'm concerned with this Macys and the employees working in the jewelry and perfume departments. Each time I go to this location it's like the employees have no idea about Macys policy or the items they are selling. Scary and mind blowing. I went to do an exchange on some jewelry and literally was just swapping out pink freshwater pearls for white freshwater pearls. Same product just different colors. The sales associates were standing behind their counter and n their phones. I asked if they were able to help me, they asked me to give them a moment while they finished texting. Then the sales associate initially told me I'd have to pay more for the exchange. But why it's literally the same product. When I stated that she, repeated herself. Eventually she went to ask another associate who told her to just follow what the receipt said. Then off to the perfume department. Tried to get a refill on a cologne was told Macys doesn't do refills. All LIES. I was just there in the same department a few weeks prior and had a perfume refilled. When I asked what locations do refills they looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. Not a fan of the customer service or knowledge of this location's employees. read more

I really like this Macy's location in comparison to the Macy's in Meadows Mall. This Macy's is located in Downtown Summerlin. You can take either the 215/Charleston exit or the 215/Sahara Exit to get here. The parking lot is very spacious! You won't have any issues finding parking here. Every-time I go into this Macy's location it is well-stocked and super clean, even over the Holidays! The Macy's customer service always approaches me every time I go into this store location. I usually come to Macy's every 3-4 months for Estee Lauder products. The makeup is on the first level. I usually get my foundation matched every time I go to Estee Lauder. This is done for free, if you ever need a foundation match. Always check Macy's website to see if their are any free bundles at the makeup locations. Typically Estee Lauder has free offerings if you buy a certain amount of products or $ value. There are some cute clothes as well! Check out this Macy's! read more

The Macy's at downtown Summerlin is large, clean, and has a wide variety of merchandise. The personnel is helpful when you can find them. I'm not much of a shopper, but whenever my wife needs clothing, makeup, accessories, or needs to window shop, it's this store that she goes to. Me, I'm just one of those guys you'll see sitting in a chair in the women's shoe department staring at my phone wondering when she will return or how long I'll have to sit here? I know my wife likes this store because she generally has a few packages when she finally comes looking for me. Don't buy from Macy's...without receipt they claim to send you money but you never get it back. Customer service refuses to let you speak to manager or supervisor if you go online for help they say they can't help. I returned item to store December 18th still nothing. With same answer we released funds or a card is on its way. Guess they think everyone are thieves but their the one holding your items and money. Get it together Macy's. This location might not be as big as the Macy's in the Meadows or the Galleria malls, but for the Downtown Summerlin area, it will do (it is bigger than the Fashion Show location). I should mention that Macy's is one of the few department stores from my childhood that is still around. I had my Lids online order sent to this location as it was better to save on shipping (it is either $4.99 or $5.99) and do I could do some browsing and shopping at the center (it is Locker Room by Lids here, in between the jewelry department and mens clothing- the Lids store (hats only) is in the middle of the center, no sign on the directory, as of yet, BTW). The section looks small, but it's stocked well. I checked out the Vegas Golden Knights selection which is pretty good. There were mens, womens, and childrens (listed in order of most selection, medium, and least selection). There were regular items, championship items, and Stanley Cup items. There were t-shirts- crew & v-neck, pullovers, jerseys, long-sleeves, and hats. (There were more items near the exit door in the jewelry department.) There were other sports items represented here, as well. And also a clearance rack. (We were here during the Grand Opening too, upstairs, in childrens, there was a long line for the balloon twisters. I think that I always usually check out the handbag department as well whenever we go inside a Macy's.) read more
