A Wednesday morning soon after opening in the month of March. I'm bra shopping. I was greeted by sales attendant, Roxanne upon entering. I cruised around the store looking for something to catch my eye, but I knew that I was there to purchase a new bra. After Roxanne, finished a customer call, she asked me if I needed assistance. I let her know the size and brand that I have purchased and that I was totally clueless as to what my current was. She was so patient with me and I think I tried on at least 10 bras in the whole hour that I was in there. (I am so OCD, I clasped and hug every bra back on hangers) They did not have the size for the style that I wanted in house, but I was able to take a picture of the tag and order it online. Now I know my size and Wood style fits best for my current and ever-changing body shape. I appreciate Roxanne's assistance as she was the only one there at the time that I was in the store for an hour, and I cannot wait to see if the purchase online will in fact be a perfect fit. DO NOT SHOP HERE!! I went in today to pick up an order that I had placed online and one of the employees named Bri was ridiculously RUDE! I don't know what her issue is but she needs to learn how to speak with customers! She cut me off when I was trying to ask her a question and her condescending attitude was uncalled for! Best store for big ladies. Not frumpy outfits. Great service, this girl is a keeper. She helped me with everything. she was chipper and smiling the whole time. I came in this afternoon to shop, with nothing particular in mind. I REALLY wanted to find something because my friend wanted to gift whatever I chose to me. I was circling the store and trying things on for a WHILE. The sales person, Mary (that's the name from my receipt) asked a few times if I needed any help and I gave my typical response "I'm ok, just looking" but once I decided to let her know it was my birthday and my friend wanted to buy me something, she asked me some questions and she made suggestions and she helped me to decide. I left with a denim jacket (her recommendation!) blouse and cardigan. I honestly was probably about to leave empty handed if it weren't for her friendly suggestions and conversation. I went in for a bra I ordered online. My sales asst when above and beyond to help me find the right bra for me after loosing 200 pounds. I ended up getting frustrated with the entire bra situation I rethought my need for a bra. I think I'll stick with sports bras a little longer. I definitely recommend coming here. I picked up an online order & looked around the store for the first time. I didn't have to wait long to get my order, and it was at the register, not hidden in the back! There was a coupon in my order for $20 off $100. That's a nice bonus. The store has a pretty large clearance area, and the entire store isn't very big. The dressing room is different- it's open with a central area with seats instead of just the typical long hallway style. Meh, not impressed with their selection. Their styles don't really stand out from other like retailers such as Dress Barn or Lane Bryant, but they do have similar clothing at all those stores. The prices at Torrid seemed a little on the high side. They also sell some accessories, including jewelry. I saw 2 employees while I was there. One helped me at the register and another was helping a customer find something. They have a variety of sizes, and if you're in the area, it may be worth checking out. read more

I visited this store today and was completely let down, and it had to be the worst shopping experience I have ever had. The three employees working did not take any interest in the fact I was the only customer in the store. They were huddled around at the register talking about their personal lives and what they wanted to do for lunch. I made the mistake of interrupting them to ask for help when they gave me the laziest, low effort "help" I have ever experienced, and walked out. It was like a joke. The customer service in this store was great when it opened, and it's really disappointing how much this place has deteriorated. read more

Super friendly staff...BUT, Torrid, if your motto is sizes 10-30, why don't any of your stores actually carry larger sizes? Sales people say they get few larger sizes and they always sell out. DUH. NO size 6', largest jeans were a 26. You've got awesome dressing rooms, but nothing to try on! Bra's in-store to size 48...but those are BEIGE and kept in the back. Wth. We would've bought things...it's nice to try them on in-store and get a look at yourself, instead of ordering online and having to return/exchange. Get a clue, Torrid. Very disappointing. Also, stores are NOT ADA equipped. Aisles too narrow and jam packed with sizes 0. We won't be back. read more

I didn't want to go back to this particular Torrid store in Las Vegas-Summerlin because three months prior I went to visit it for the first time and was turned off before even walking in. My first encounter was when I arrived 5 minutes after their posted open time. The door was locked and the sales associate opening that day arrived at the same time as me. She was not very polite when she said "give me 10 minutes." So, I left! My second encounter was this past Sunday, I walked in and received no greeting. By the way, there were three sales associates working and only one other customer trying on clothes. So they were slow enough to acknowledge the customer. The entire time no "hello, welcome to Torrid." I started selecting items during this time another customer walked in and she received a greeting, she was even told about the sales and a special offering $10 or maybe it was $15 towards Torrid if she did not like an item after trying it on. Finally after holding about 10 times, one gal asked another gal to get me a room. Still didn't hear about the sales nor did I get a hello. Oh but wait, I finally get attention now that I am ready to purchase four items -big shocker! It's very sad that this particular store conducts themselves this way. Especially because of their location. I'll stick to going to Torrid in the Meadows Mall where they give great customer service. read more

I went into this Torrid yesterday (8/28/17). I have never been to a Torrid store, but I've had recommendations from friends, so why not?! I was greeted by a nice young lady welcoming me to Torrid. I asked how the sizing in their store worked, and she took her time explain it to me! I really appreciated it! Well i have given this location multiple tries and now this latest problem takes the cake. First time I went in I was treated poorly. The associate acted like I was intruding on her day by asking for a fitting room, or assisance finding other sizes. So I left. I wound up ordering online and when I mentioned the poor treatment at the store I received an apology from the district manager and a gift card to try them again. I did go back but each time service was not friendly or helpful, so I decided to place most orders online. And recently I did order some items online, however they were too big so instead of a lengthy return and exchange through the mail I went to this store. The store didnt have the items in a smaller size so I just did a full return. I got a receipt and even an emailed copy. Fast forward I get my credit card statement and I am still being charged for the items I returned. I contact the bank they tell me that torrid never recieved my return. Really? So I call the store and tell them and I now get "oh it is your bank". How is it my bank if they say the items were never returned? Yet I have proof they were. This is on the store. They took my items and need to make sure my refund was issued. Now I have to file a dispute, fill out paperwork, etc. To get my money back. This is the last time I deal with this location. It is not worth the headaches. read more

This location is inside the outdoor-mall They have really nice stuff . I came here with my mother in law and grandma , they love shopping here but this locationhad really bad customer service . One lady left because the girl in the desk was taking for ever . There were only 3 customers , us one of them and to check out it took more than 30 min and we were 1st on the line . read more

This torrid is very convenient for me since I live so close. The employees all are very friendly and helpful with whatever I needed! It is however a smaller store with limited selection. If it wasn't for the girls working there I'd probably be going to a different store they make it so worth it. read more

I don't really like shopping at this location. It is really small and hard to shop. All the clothes are on top of each other and you have to dig. Torrid in general is over priced for the quality of the clothing. I shop because it is a little bit trendier than Lane Bryant for the night life. This location customer service can be improved as well. Yesterday they had only one clerk with a shop full of people. You had to wait until she checked out people to get a dressing room and forget it if you wanted to get a pair of shoes. I got frustrated and left and went shopping elsewhere. read more

Amazing workers. It's my first dance and I needed to find a good dress which is incredibly hard as a young plus sized girl. The worker Taylor helped me find the perfect dress. She gave me options, helped me find my size, and even went into the back to find me some more option. She went out of her way to help me. Taylor definitely deserves a raise because of how outgoing she was. I love my dresses and will definitely go back to get more clothing. So glad I could find something I loved at a good price and in good time with her help! read more

Not sure why other reviews are so low for this location. I'll agree that the store, itself, is small so things are a little smushed together, but that's the only reason I'm not giving it a 5. The staff were all very friendly and even offered to put my items in a changing room when they saw I had a handful. I came in there with my husband and they let him sit in the center waiting area of the changing rooms so he could check out the outfits once I tried them on. The staff are on top of the deals (Torrid always has deals) and even let me know when I would get a better savings. read more

Its a sweltering hot summer day in Vegas. Instead of using the perfectly good air conditioning the doors are wide open making the store sweltering hot. I've been standing in like for more than 15 minutes while one associate has been walking around the store talking to god knows who on the phone and the one associate behind the counter is chattering away with the customer, while a line waits for her to finish talking. Some days it's great, other days it's like this and if I wasn't trying to make a return I would have left long ago. Need to work on consistent customer service. So frustrated. read more

The clothes here a very good quality and they have a great variety. The staff is always very friendly and helpful trying to find new sizes and things to fit your style. Only thing I wish that they would improve on is the organization of the bathing suit's and clearance. I unfortunately cannot buy either of those things here because it's always so disorganized and more of a hassle to go through. read more

I hate having to write negative reviews for companies I otherwise like, but I've been back to this location several times since first reviewing, and the lackluster customer service that I wrote off at first by virtue of the store having just opened has only gotten worse with each visit. Even when it's dead in the store, you're completely ignored by the employees. I can deal with not being greeted when I walk in, but every single visit has been like Mission Impossible trying to find an employee when I need a fitting room or have a question or heaven forbid need a different size in anything while I'm trying stuff on. Don't bother with that, by the way, just leave your changing room door open and go get your own stuff. They won't notice and won't ever come to offer you help. It's not like the women who work there are mean, they've been perfectly nice whenever I'm at the register (except for one time when the girl with purple hair spent the entire time chatting away with a friend on the store's phone?), but none of them are actually working, apparently? For as much as Torrid clothes can cost, I'd really just like to be able to be seen to a fitting room without having to launch a search and rescue party. read more

I wanted to visit a Torrid that wasn't inside a mall, so decided to drive to this location. When I walked in, there were two sales people prepping merchandise behind the registers, I didn't get a hello or welcome to Torrid, I just got a look. Maybe they were too busy. The store itself is small and unorganized. I was the only customer in there for 10 or so minutes when another lady walked in and the sales people said absolutely nothing to her too. Great customer service!? When I was ready to try on some clothes, I walked over to the registers and asked for a fitting room, can you believe the one sales person said, "Let me see if there is one available." I thought to myself, there are only two customers in here, why wouldn't there be a room available!! The same sales person was coughing and sneezing all over the place and not covering her mouth. This Torrid is not what I'm used to. I'm used to friendly sales folks, sales folks who say hello or ask if I need a fitting room when my arms are full of clothes. read more

I shopped at torrid on line not knowing there was a store in henderson right by me. Unfortunately I'm not good at picking clothes out on line or the right ones for me. I have to be there trying them on. No harm. I will return what I purchased in the store and looking forward to shopping at a new store different from the rest.
