I don't realize they made a daiso here! Kind of hidden in the corner so don't miss it. It was reallly bright in here and the music was kind of loud so it was a little overwhelming to take my time to shop around. Maybe that's just me. However, they have unique products here you really can't find anywhere else and a great selection. It is truly like a mini convenience store / home goods at the same time lol. They have so many aisles in very reasonable pricing! Even the home goods area from gardening, pets, cooking, cleaning, school supplies, toys, snacks!! My husband and I stopped by Daiso on a Wednesday evening. We've wanted to check out this new Daiso location in the Centennial Hills now for the past month! Daiso is located off of the 215/Durango exit. It's in a large shopping plaza next to Kohl's and Ulta Beauty. There is ample amount of parking spots available. Daiso is a Japanese store. It has a wide range of items from pet toys, home goods, kitchen supplies, Japanese snacks, drinks such as Calipcos, and much more! Throughout the store, you'll notice the price conversion from Yen to US Dollars. Everything in the store was really well organized and there was a lot of inventory! The team members at Daiso were quite helpful and friendly! The price wasn't expensive either for a lot of their merchandise. We had such a wonderful experience at this Daiso location! This was my first ever visit to a Daiso in the states. First impressions: -Kind of small, but big enough to get my fix in -Missing some of the top tier snacks found in Japan. Mostly stocked with things easily accessible in the US. -Lots of containers and kitchen accessories, which was the purpose of this trip. What did rub me the wrong way was the price conversion. I understand import fees, taxes, etc etc. But the charts they display all over the store are completely inaccurate to the true conversions. They are robbing us, really. 200¥ is $1.34. But Daiso here charges $3.25. Still cheap but good grief. I understand the conversions are ever-changing, but maybe a 50¢ mark up would be enough, not $2. I think I'll keep my Daiso shopping overseas, as not to ruin the charm & the thrill of cheap goods. You may as well shop online imo. read more

For me this is a better store than the one on West Sahara. Because it's closer to me and it's not as busy. The layout of the store is much better. Much more product the staff is just as good as the other stores. Great selection and awesome prices. read more

I've traveled to Japan and brought back Daiso goodies and made that trip to Little Tokyo in LA so many times. But we finally have our own Vegas Daiso locations! A Japanese "dollar store" type retail. Full of snacks, home goods, beauty supplies, toys, stationary and so much more. I am a big fan of ask things Sanrio and you can get so many branded items. Have visited the other LV stores, but I wanted to see this newly opened one. I always liked Japanese markets and department stores. While not a "shopper" I could browse in them for hours, not like my typical in and out as quickly as I can like in Target, TJ Max etc. This place was typical chock fill of "cute" things you would never need, lots of stickers, boxes, bags, home stuff and food and snack items. Definitely a place to buy pocky. As always picked a few things I could actually use like some cooking chopsticks.... just an enjoyable place to shop. Decent prices! read more

The amount and variety of items at this store is pretty crazy. One of my friends told me this was an "asian convenience store" but i was truly unprepared for all items from snacks, to school supplies, to kitchenware, and outdoor patio supplies. Like WHAT?? I love this. I bought a new set of bowls and chopsticks for home for under $10. Also! Staff is super nice. read more

They have everything from decorative items to your everyday household needs, i.e. organizers, dispensers, containers, glass cleaning supplies, oven mittens, etc. They have a snack and drink section. Woo hoo, another Daiso in Vegas. Just a few years ago we used to have to drive all the way to CA for Daiso goodness, it is now in my neighborhood- The parking lot is very big and easy to find parking. The store has a decent size and is just as big as most Daiso stores, however, the front check out looks so ghetto with some cheap plastic tables for self checkout. This set up makes the store looks cheap and busy in the front. Store manager should invest in a couple of nice.set up for self checkout instead. Some of the staff is just standing around talking without helping people. I hope they will get trained better. Other than that, the store is great and it carries most of the Japanese knick knacks ,, kitchen, garden home items , snacks , drinks and even some Hello Kitty items. Overall I am just happy we have a Daiso in town! Will be coming back often. read more

I'm glad we have Daiso in Vegas now! And this location is really convenient for me too! For those that don't know, Daiso is a Japanese discount store with generally cheap prices. While some of it is useless junk, they generally have good prices on stationary, kitchen gadgets, and dishware. They also sell Japanese candy, drinks, and snacks. read more

Wow this store is so cool! Great set-up and fancy things for everyday life! My favorite sections are the Kitchen area, the Stationary part and the Storage section in the back of the store. Everything in the beauty and glassware portions of the store feel hefty and expensive, but they are all so decently priced! My favorite employee is so considerate for always wearing a face mask and nevers fails to direct me right to where I'm trying to go. Great job, everyone! read more

First time in the store & I actually liked it. The service though was very unprofessional. They don't greet you when you walk in, a customer was walking around for about 5 minutes asking if anyone worked there because he needed to checkout. They have 3 self checkout registers & only 1 register with a worker, they don't tell you that the self checkout is card only till you are done checking out. I've been waiting for a daiso to open here in Vegas, but specifically here in the northwest of town! So happy we have one in the neighborhood now. I was told by Candace (sp?) that they opened last Saturday. So it's been about a week. There's so many cute Japanese knickknacks, yummy snacks, drinks and Sanrio stuff, etc. and the prices vary. There's signs in each area to help you determine how much an item is. Customer service is awesome. The associates are more than welcome to answer questions you may have. My first time there, a male associate (didn't get his name) helped me with the self checkout as I didn't know how to use it. :/ I've been to the store 4x since they've opened. There's a self checkout line for customers paying with debit/credit and a separate line for cash payments. They charge 20 cents for bags for your purchased items, (I thought, only Cali does that?) so I brought my own during my 3rd and 4th visit. Lol As you can see from my visits, I'd definitely recommend checking them out! :) You'll find many interesting knickknacks, but I specifically come here for the Sanrio stuff and snacks. Your store was clean and organized which is always pleasant but your staff is extremely unprofessional. Every other word out of their mouths was an F bomb. They were not helpful to customers and instead were huddled up talking about personal matters and using foul language. It's one of my favorite stores! Just recently discovered this location, which is closer to where I live. This is my second visit here! The store is kept clean and organized, and the service is usually great! There are many items to choose from, and you will most likely find what you're looking for and even more lol. They have everything from kitchen ware to food items! The snacks are a bit pricey, but a lot of it are imported from Japan so understandable. This visit wasn't very pleasant although they did have everything that I needed. Normally, there is always someone waiting at the cashier, but there wasn't. I waited in line for almost 5 minutes before receiving any help. I could hear the employees over by the snack area playing around. I believe they are ( Adam and Sierra ), even after I called out for help, still nothing! They finally realized I was waiting when they came out from their hiding place. The male cashier rang up my items said my total was $18, handed him a $50 only to look at his coworker and have her tell me my total needs to be over $30 for them to accept it, which is fine, but should have been told before taking the $50. Love coming here! But, not loving the customer service that needs to be worked on. read more

When we went in the daiso on Durango road they had the heater on it must have been almost 100° inside The one sells person wore a sweatshirt so I guess she was cold I couldn't spend two minutes inside the store because it was so damn hot. Every air vent on the ceiling is you walk by you just get a blast of hot hot air, I don't see how any of the chocolate in that store survives read more

Smaller store than Summerlin but way better organized! Had to take a star away because Britney had such bad customer service skills. She made more of an effort to frown rather than smile and was far from welcoming. No thank you, no asking if I found everything I looked for - found everything except for her sincerity and smile. I'm super happy there is a Daiso location close by my house! Super cute items with a reasonable price. Items with no price are generally $1.75 and I can get my lil Hello Kitty fix once a month :P Just be careful when ringing up items because the senor is super sensitive and it's easy to scan 1 item twice. Also triple check on the snack/candy prices 3 times its happened to me where a product was placed on the wrong shelf w/ the wrong price and once you have swiped your credit card there is no exchange or refund! I was still in the store when I realised on my receipt an item came up more than what it said on the shelf. This has also happened to me when they had a poster showing a promo for a drink that was buy one and get the 2nd drink on discount. I pointed it out to the employee at the register and she got the mod but she ended up saying the promo was over. I just held my patience. Like other reviews have said most employees I've seen are teens or early 20s. read more
