We were in the area, this past weekend. We visit a couple of times a year. We checked out the men's underwear, but there wasn't that much selection. We found something. In the $10.00 range. Also checked out the Food section, I am always trying to find Tea. No such luck. Clean store. Not too busy, but there were a few people in line. It didn't seem that long until we checked out. Usually my experiences here are pretty good, products, customer service, and fast line. Today, I needed to return and buy something new. I brought the plastic bag it originally came in, with the product and receipt in it. Naijmia, I believe was how her name was spelled on her tag, calls me to her register. I walked up, explained to her what I wanted to do. I set the old TJ Max bag down and she pinches it from the bottom and shakes out the product I was returning, fairly aggressive. two receipts come flying out, I said "ok..." and laughed it off. she takes the notebook I was returning, turns around and throws it on the counter behind her. it took everything inside of me not to say "if you hate your job so much, find something else". This location needs to do better with hiring, and managing poor behavior. read more

At TJ Maxx, the day after Thanksgiving for some holiday shopping was quite a memorable experience! It was packed, but it was so awesome! This TJ Maxx location is within Northwest Las Vegas off of the N95/Durango exit. It's in the same plaza as the Smith's and has plenty of parking! Inside TJ Maxx, has a wide range of inventory. It includes accessories, home goods, beautify products, clothing, and much more. I came here to see what kind of deals they had on toys and holiday décor. TJ Maxx is one of the largest off-price retailers in the United States. This store has a lot of merchandise from retailers that include closeouts or overstock. There is ever-changing selection and this store is well-stocked! Looking at the children's toys, there were a lot to go through! There was Trivia games, board games, hot wheels, Disney themed toys, dinosaurs, dragons, and so much more! I ended up purchasing my daughter for the holidays at TJ Maxx this light-up Harry Potter House sign with a wand, and a Robo Dinosaur. The Holiday décor was so beautiful! The holiday wrapping paper was stocked with festive holiday trees, gold wrapping, ribbons available, holiday bags, holiday boxes. I'd highly recommend stopping by TJ Maxx during the Holiday season. I went into this TJ Maxx, over spending as usual...I went to the jewelry section to look for an anklet and Mariah wouldn't acknowledge that I was standing there, totally ignored me... even walked up to the front counter to drop off someone's jewelry... never said that she will be back or anythi g....I wasn't in a rush so I waited. .. when she came back I told her what she did was rude and she rolled her eyes... no worries...I found the manager and voiced my complaint and I'm writing a review. Super Bowl Sunday I walk in about 5:25 PM and I'm wearing a buffalo Bill shirt. Pretty sure it was a manager that was walking by security when I came in the door and Security says right away " Oh No Patriots!!! The "probable" (cause I'm not sure but she looked like a manager) manager that was walking by says "no it's the Bills" and laughing!! then the security guard says, " well that's even worse!!!" Of course I was so humiliated and upset at the rudeness that I'm being treated as a almost 70-year-old woman walking into a store to spend my money to be disregarded in such fashion and embarrassed around everyone that was standing there... of course I had to leave immediately There's only two stores in this town, that I shop at ...because I hate shopping more than anything. I go to Sam's Club and I go to TJ Maxx once in a while I'll go to ultra and that's it. You'll never see me in another store.... now I will never go into TJ Maxx again and I suggest any Buffalo Bills fans or any Patriots fans for that matter I was getting put down to be either one of them. I would boycott this store. Unfortunately, if I need another TJ Maxx in the future, I'm going to have to drive very far now ...so I will just Boy cott them altogether. How dare you let your employees treat somebody just walking in the door like that and humiliate them for absolutely no reason!!! Located in a now very crowded strip mall on Durango, this is still a place to go in order to find some good deals. Now, it is a hit-and-miss on whether you find what you are looking for on the day you arrive. They've got delivery trucks which normally come twice a week and the employees don't know what will be coming off the trucks. Normally, I find what I need when I visit. There have been occasions when they are simply out of a clothing item I am looking for in a particular size. If you go back in a few days, you may see that right size. Although it could be time-consuming, you still get a deal compared to buying a product at full price on-line or at another store. Overall, still a great store with plenty of selections. read more

I went in to return unworn jewelry and had a rude encounter with who I believe was the manager (Karine or Karice). She looked at me ugly, spoke with an attitude, and never explained anything about the return process -- whether I needed to insert my card or anything. Instead, she just told me I should've gone to the jewelry section next time, even though it was my first time returning jewelry. What bothered me most was how different she acted with the next customer, an older white gentleman, being friendly and polite. Very unprofessional. read more

Eva and Lupe were phenomenal tonight! We just found out we are having a grand baby. We found an ensemble that didn't have a price but wanted it regardless. When we got to the checkout they had said it was missing a piece and couldn't be sold. Eva said hang on I'll go out and see if I can find the missing piece. All the while Lupe said shes a magician and if anyone can find it Eva will. After about 3-5 minutes Eva miraculously found the missing piece!!! They could have easily brushed us off but instead put in the effort to satisfy a customer. Well done ladies and we really appreciate the extra effort of going above and beyond! read more

I finally found the TJ Maxx that I like! I went to the one on Rainbow and I never came back to a TJ Maxx after that until now. I had just left Nissan on Centennial and I was on my way home so I decided to stop by. Grabbed a cart, I was like, you never know... Turned right and walked a few steps and that was it! I had like a dozen items in my cart. Walked into the dressing room and picked out 3 items I loved and was home in under an hour. LOVE this store, I can't wait to come back! read more

The Head Manager Josh, Front end Manager Leslie as well as key carrier Eva and new assistant manager, I dont know his name, startes with a T, seem to be terrible managers and people put in charge. I have witnessed the way they treat their workers and its absolutely appalling. I've witnessed Lesie and Eva talk horribly about one of their employees behind their back and in front of customwrs, just bad mouthing her. That specific employee is one of the best that they have/had. How they became Managers is beyond me. They borate their employees in public in front of customers and don't treat them the way they should be treated. And sometimes it seems that they are over worked because of being by themselves working an area that clearly needs to have atleaset 2 or 3. These managers need to either be reprimanded by Corporate or transfered someone where else. Something needs to be done about them. read more

This store is much cleaner and nicer than most of the others in town. I'm guessing it's one of the newer stores because of the neighborhood it's in. Worst return policy ever! I spend so much money in there. Had a receipt with me that was a week old and noticed items went on sale. Manager said she would not price match anything! Even if I brought my items in and returned and re purchased she said she would not let me rebuy at sale price. Something about it depends on how long each item is on their shelve?! So basically one size can be on sale and another can be a different price. Horrible retail policy in my opinion. TJmaxx give your managers some skills and allow them to take care of your customers. Love it I can always find what I'm looking for! Each department has plenty of stuff to look at and is well-stocked up. For girls who are really into name brand make up if you haven't already you should going to the store and take your time looking in their makeup section you'll find some really good name brand products from Lorax to Anastasia, BC cosmetics, MAC and so much more! Have you ever stood in an isle with glass containers in hand, just staring at them? No? Me neither... I love TJ because they have lots of things I normally see at other stores for a way better price. Beautiful clothes - with straight seams, thick natural fabrics, and tasteful designs at the prices that are very far from MSRP. I stop in at this TJMaxx whenever I'm in the neighborhood. It's a notch above some of the other TJs in the valley: never too crowded and fairly well-organized. No matter what branch I'm in, I can never just walk by the jewelry counter without stopping to look and (too often) buy something, but most of the time there's no staff there. Too many times I've had to get a manager to get someone to work that counter, but not here. There was a salesperson there when I got to the counter, and she was still there an hour later when I left. While they don't reduce the items on their clearance racks by a whopping amount, it doesn't really bother me, because I can't remember the last time I had the luck able to buy anything anywhere on clearance. Poor me, always having to pay the full discounted price! read more

I can usually find things here.. and generally like shopping here. the one complaint I have is service from a young lady who was didn't sympathize with my situation when I tried to come in and exchange something i bought on sale. long story short: in the clearance aisle, I purchased a hair serum that was in a container equipped with a pump to get the serum out.. a product that would otherwise have been 12.00 was marked down to 6 something.. so i was sold. went home, and the pump was gone. and it wasn't a a twist off pump either. the only way I could get that serum out was to cut the bottle in half. so I bring it back, and the annoying lady helping me states the obvious, that the discount was probably given because of the broken pump. [no duh b]. so she continues being annoying by telling me that I can't return the item because it was for sale, to which I reply: it's fine.. i just want a new one. of course it's impossible to get a new one w/out paying the difference of a full priced bottle. -_- 'wha?' manager said the same thing.. yes, I put up a fight and suggested that they not sell such items.. because, it's just dumb. so, yes, they were selling me a product impossible to use. and pissed me off cause they fought to the death to say, final price means: no bitch.. we will compromise out customer service and common sense to stick to the policy. at the end of this, i got my 6.00 store credit, along with a chip on my shoulder for all that ridiculousness. whack! anyway, they got a lot of stuff otherwise. housewares, clothes, shoes, purses, toys, etc.. good stuff. read more

I am here right now at this tj maxx location i live in las vegas and i won 2400 dollars at the casino so i decided to come treat myself to some new clothes. I started looking at purses and while doing so i accidentally set off one of the alarms that is on them. After that a woman came i guess to see what was going on and after that this lady followed me everywhere i went. Standing right next to me trying to make me uncomfortable...just to make sure i wasnt being over dramatic i decided to walk around and make a bunch of weird turns and places to stop. This lady was right there with me the whole time. Then i see the manager and explain the situation and she laughs at me and tells me shes probably just cleaning up. I then further explained that was impossible because she was with me throughout my whole zigzag trip and she laughed again and completely blew me off. Im now standing here in the middle of the store typing this because im so insulted, frustrated, and honestly offended by this whole situation. I guess if you want to watch someone shopping at least have the courtesy to be discreet about it and not stand in their face the whole time. read more

Let me first start off by saying the customer coordinator was terrible, I was trying to return items I had purchased and right off the bat I could feel her bad attitude slapped on with a fake smile. She hassled me about returning items I dont like! It's called buyers remorse lady, if I want to return it I can. Does it state somewhere in the bylaws I need to tell you my whole life story as on why I dont like these items?! If you really want to hassle someone you should think about becoming a cop, lady.
