My daughter had received a $40 gift card for her birthday and was so excited to pick out a few special items. Unfortunately, when we got to the register, the gift card wouldn't work. After trying multiple registers and different solutions, it still couldn't be redeemed. My daughter was heartbroken because she thought she would have to leave without the birthday gifts she had carefully chosen. The manager saw how disappointed she was and, without hesitation, paid for every single item herself out of her own pocket and simply handed them to my daughter. We were completely speechless. In a world where exceptional customer service can be hard to find, her compassion, generosity, and genuine kindness stood out in the most beautiful way. She didn't just solve a problem, she turned what could have been a disappointing birthday memory into one we'll never forget. Please recognize her for going so far above and beyond. Employees like her are rare, and she is a true reflection of what outstanding customer service looks like. We are beyond grateful for her kindness and will always remember what she did for our family. Thank you, Rachel, if you are seeing this. We are so appreciative.

While not everything is $5 and below anymore, the prices are still very reasonable for the variety they offer. They have great birthday gift options, including board games, surprise gift packs like Fugglers, toys, Legos, and tons of fun knick-knacks. You'll also find clothing, cleaning supplies, skincare items, small electronics, posters, snacks, candies, balloons, and seasonal items. It's one of those places you can run into for one thing and walk out with a full bag because there's just so much to choose from. Perfect for last-minute gifts, stocking stuffers, or just treating yourself without breaking the bank. As for customer service honestly every time I have come here I only see one worker that is at the self checkout. Also.... Note: bring bags because they don't ever or just don't offer bags to put your items in. So imagine you have a cart full of items. Your carrying it all out bare handed.

They have a decent plus size collection in the back of the store, which seems to have all sizes in stock most of the time. The store is clean and always smells good! The clothes are pricey so you have to catch a sale to feel good about purchasing. The quality isn't amazing, especially for the price. Upwards of $80 for a pair of jeans is crazy, especially when the quality isn't there. My reason for shopping there is they have a really cute selection for plus size girls. My son is a larger young man, and during our visit an employee said directly to me, "Oh yes, your son is the big man in the dressing room." I am very grateful that my son did not hear the comment. I understand that no offense may have been intended, but remarks about a person's size are inappropriate, especially in a setting where members are preparing to make sacred covenants. Members of every body shape and size wear temple garments and temple clothing. No one should feel singled out, labeled, or made self-conscious because of their body. I would also encourage greater attention to the availability of larger sizes. Accessing temple garments and clothing should be a simple and welcoming experience for every member. These items are sacred necessities, not optional purchases, and members should be able to obtain them with dignity and respect. I share this feedback because I believe the Church strives to make everyone feel welcome. I hope this experience can serve as a reminder that words matter and that all members, regardless of size, deserve kindness, sensitivity, and respect as they prepare for temple worship.

I've always seen the online ads for Boxlunch, but I never realized the company had physical stores! I easily spent 30 minutes inside the store with my family. Boxlunch had a promotion going on in the store for a Buy One, Get One 50% off everything in the store. If you check their website, the website lists all sorts of deals and sales on-going. The store has a wide range of merchandise and apparel! You'll see brands such as Studio Ghibli Pokémon Kirby Demon Slayer Barbie Disney Harry Potter Hello Kitty Loungefly I'm a big fan of Studio Ghibli. Their apparel included shirts, dresses, and pants themed from movies from Miyazaki such as Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, and Princess Mononoke My Neighbor Totoro is one of my favorites, and BoxLunch had this super cute Midi Dress! There was also a Studio Ghibli My Neighbor Totoro Floral Fleece Throw, which is a BoxLunch Exclusive. There was also a Catbus Mug! My daughter saw a few Bluey shirts too! We ended up buying a Sanrio Hello Kitty Strawberry Faux Succulent Planter. The design and the paint are beautiful! I'd still recommend savers or goodwill too but it's nice to have a large selection at this place vs hit or miss at a traditional thrift store. Negative - That said. I'd not recommend selling to them unless you don't care what you get for Something and being treated like a poor peasant lol. I've found all of the staff very friendly since it was my first time except for the person who handles their intake of items. She's short, rude tone and dismissive. Gets the job done, but could be friendlier and more approachable. I tested selling them clothes - and for 2 bins of good washed items I got $31 cash. Couldn't tell you the true value of the clothes in there but probably closer to $75 I tried misc items a couple bins and they kept a pair of shoes, toys, plushies, a walker and hook on high chair (brand new) and valued that all at $31 cash as well. The walker and chair were worth $40 each themselves Plus the other items would be well over $150 so I'd say if you have the time and patience to do offer up or marketplace do that instead for better return. I didn't care and had them donate all my items because I have no time or space, but just sharing here for those that wondered. The shoe selections weren't great, they should consider maybe cleaning them? But I mean you do get what you pay for. I was actually happy with their stock. The 3 stars is based off their employees, interactions and response to us. While there I noticed the restrooms were locked, no biggie. I asked if they had a key, the young girl working seemed annoyed-- opened the restroom and walked away. Mmkay fine. We're literally the only people there but okay. As we're checking out they asked if I wanted to pay cash or card, I respond with cash. Which I have the exact amount down to the PENNY. Immediately she says we don't take Pennie's, so I asked well do you round down? (Because why are we giving away money?) another associate said no we round up. Confused, I switched to card. Again fine no problem. I asked out of genuine curiosity "what do you do with the overage at the end of the day?" The cashiers associate with an attitude looks at me as if I asked if she breathes air-- "it stays in the register." Look no sass was intended to her. Their entire demeanor from beginning to end was horrible. No welcome, no hello good morning. It was as if I was in their closet and disrupting them. I've seen before their employees have had this issue, you'd figure they'd take these feedbacks into consideration. Do better guys. You have something great, you're just lacking common sense and decency.
