I have never been more embarassed or heartbroken i spend hundreds in hobby lobby and will never go back. I teach preschool and was getting supplies for class with my husband Having a great day then all of a sudden the staff started being weird my husband said I think they think we are stealing stuff. I didn't take him seriously knowing how ridiculous it was. Then the manager made her first of 5 passed by us saying loudly something about metro. I have never been treated like that or so embarassed in my life. I was neat in tears and just left the entire time a pack of employees laughed with manager and I am still just dumbfounded. The manager sunchine is insanely unprofessional immature and uneducated if she considers that a positive way to handle a situation. This will undoubably affect my work as it was made that obvious there's no way The parents of children I teach didn't witness i am so mortified and heartbroken hobby lobby was where I did all the shopping for my class. I have an unfortunate update folks. I did a review of my previous experience in the framing department a couple weeks ago. The people there are nothing short of amazing. However, the woman I encountered last night (12/8/25) in the fabric department is a whole different story. This ignorant, self righteous, old bat is what makes people hesitant to go to Hobby Lobby. Last night, I went in looking for some fabric for a PreK project for "Christmas Around the World". I was specifically looking for fabric for La Befana's headscarf. For those that don't know, La Befana is commonly known as the Christmas Witch or the Christmas Witch of Epiphany Eve. She is closely associated with the Magi (the Wise Men or Three Kings) and has her own day, January 5th in Italy. This is a real thing. A Christian thing. I didn't pull it out of nowhere and it isn't a joke. When I asked this woman (white, old, thick southern accent, works in fabric department) for help and briefly explained what the fabric was for and her opinion on the design, she frowned and spat in a disgusted tone, "I've never heard of no Christmas Witch before so I can't help you there." I was shocked. She didn't even TRY to disguise her disgust. All I could do was walk away. I was so saddened by that interaction and her response. It just reeked of intolerance. This is a children's craft and lesson about a different culture. It's a chance to learn and expand their understanding of the world! When it came time to cut my fabric, I had the project (which was made by teachers for preschoolers on a well known, widely used teacher platform) pulled up on my phone to show this ignorant, hateful woman what this was for. When she finished cutting my fabric I said to her, "just to educate yourself and for future reference" and started the short, happy video of the craft showing the DIY "Epiphany Witch" craft for PreK students. I just couldn't help myself. The entire time she stood there with her cat butt face and arms crossed. A bit of an immature move on my part I admit, but my give a craps were fresh out with this old biddy. Afterwards, she proceeded to follow me around. I don't know, maybe she had a reason to be in every aisle I was in. 30% off yarn is a great deal. Who knows. So, if you're looking for fabric, Hobby Lobby is the last place I would go now after this. But if you absolutely have to, don't accept help from the judgmental hag with the thick southern accent. She needs her hours cut to make more room for Jesus anyway in my opinion. read more

So unorganized One would think with the holiday chaos they would have signs or something to keep their lines together. They want to get upset with customers splitting lines, but then have nothing to announce that's what they require. Hobby lobby is my most favorite place in the world. But the lines are always long, and the items do not have a barcode so they punch in each item individually causing longer wait time. I'm guilty of coming here to buy what I need and buying my kids toys, unfortunately these toys are worse than the 99 cent stores. They're more expensive and really bad quality. Don't be like me and keep buying these toys. Expect long lines during holidays. read more

LP from my visit earlier this month (first week of January 2023). After seeing so many videos about the amazing 90% after Christmas sales, I rushed over only to find about a handful of items (1 or 2 endcaps - half empty) with sale items and they were definitely not 90% off. They were more in the 50% off range and many of them weren't Christmas decorations. Guess I missed the sale :-( I love browsing around HL as they have a lot of cool stuff, but to be honest, it's still pricey even if you factor in the discounts. I'm fine with waiting until the item I'm interested in is placed on clearance with an additional discount. If it doesn't, then it wasn't meant to be. Love this particular location! First it's east to find right off 215. There is plenty of parking and the lot is easy to get in and out of. The store itself is always stocked. They have plenty of decor and crafting items. The store is well laid out and it's easy to find what you are looking for. Be mindful of the sale items and isles!! My creativity outlet doesn't come in the form of crafts, but walking into Hobby Lobby makes a person feel a little invincible and crafting and makes me wanna "Hallmark decorate" my entire home. Conveniently located on the southwest corner of Fort Apache and Tropicana is a lovely crafts store called Hobby Lobby. There's lots of parking and the store is very easy to find! I originally went in looking for some materials for a DIY birthday project and left with all I needed plus fall decor that I never knew I needed. The store is very neatly organized with a plethora of varieties of different knick knacks and art supplies that you can buy. As soon as you walk in it becomes so easy to conjure up different creative opportunities in your mind. You get the "kid in a candy store" effect at Hobby Lobby. The prices cannot be beat! I've frequented other craft supply stores and arts/crafts section of department stores and I've never seen unbeatable deals like I saw at Hobby Lobby. The sales, discounted prices, and offers make you want to clear the shelves. The employees there are so nice. The one particular lady I had was so great at keeping a conversation going throughout the entire transaction. She seemed genuinely interested in the projects I was planning on working on as well. Even with the mask on you could tell that the employees, not just her, really enjoy being there. I felt like such a valued customer. I will be back again Hobby Lobby, you can bet your bottom dollar on that one! Here's a quick breakdown... I don't really go to Walmart because it is one of the three places where time warps. I truly believe this! As soon as you walk through the doors of Walmart, time stops, your brain shuts down and a funny narrative voice in your head starts to speak. The disembodied voice tells you to buy all kinds of things that you don't need, but you only find out you don't need those precious bargains, until it's five hours later and you awaken in your car with tons of Walmart bags! You have done it too, so you know I am right! The second place I find this phenomenon happens is the DMV (but that's another story) The third place is Hobby Lobby. I can walk into Hobby Lobby and get lost down every aisle! Yes, even the jewelry-making aisle! Why? I DONT KNOW. Maybe I will design my own jewelry on me day. (Don't judge:) But I guess that is the cool part of Hobby Lobby. It has everything you need to be creative and at the level of creativity you want. Amateur charcoal painter, they got you. Professionally framed artwork, they got you. If you ever thought, I need a hobby, head down and look around. You will lose a few hours, but if it will help you find a new passion. I was just at this store to pick up hem tape. The cashier sad it was 1.99, I said no it's .99. She argued with me saying it was only the bias tape....i found it pictured as hem tape for .99. This is the hobby lobby we usually go to but today , 12/28 at 1:27pm made me not want to go back. 4 registers, 2 were closed and the other 2 had huge lines. The manager , couldn't see her name tag is was covered by her hair, was just walking around saying how it's tough because everyone is taking their lunches late. Another manager opened a register but didn't call any one over, and kept telling people that were entering the closed line, that it's closed " rudely". She said to one lady, that's why there's a closed sign. Another employee came up to open and the first manager said you can go to lunch. The employee said I'll help get the line down, and the manager said you can go to lunch first if you want. Both manager have no no no customer service skills. When I do have the wild hair for feeling crafty I find myself perusing Hobby Lobby. What by all means was intended as a quick 'get in and out' I always find myself there for at least an hour (okay, more of a two hour perusing). The ideas and juices start flowing. They'll ring up your items incorrectly (like a whole $50 difference), when you ask if that's the correct total they'll say yes with an annoyed tone, AND then you have to go back and check that something had to be wrong because you did not just spend $120 on 50% off florals. Cherry on top, they'll give you an attitude when you ask to get it adjusted correctly. I'll leave names off for privacy, but if management looks into it, I was there at 4:30pm on 11/3/21. Everyone in this store looks miserable and treats you terribly at the slightest request. Decor Galor! Back home I was a frequent visitor of Hobby Lobby and I was happy to see one finally open up here in Vegas. Since my home is fully furnished and decorated I may on occasion stop in a store to get that much need updated piece to bring everything current. Hobby Lobby is a nice start. Stopped in here because wifey was looking for some fabric to cover some pillows we have. its a cool place to go if you're a very crafty DIY/ Martha Stewartesque kinda person. The staff here are very helpful as well. One of the workers pulled up a code on wifey's phone that she could always use with every visit and receive 40% off...thought that was pretty cool of her, knowing that some things in here can cost a pretty penny. While they have a great selection and often super staff, the website for online shopping falls far short of the mark. I'm one who does not particularly like to make a trip to the store only to find they don't have what I really want then end up buying something to settle for or browsing and end up buying something I had no intention of buying. How much more specific a keyword can one use than floral stems, picks, or silk flower? I know they have a floral dept. and I even queried fake flowers. The result was 4 items not remotely close to fake plant or flower. I got flower cutter and a kids flower painting kit and 2 wood craft items in the shape of some daisy. C'mon now guys. I guess I'll support Michael's. At least they have a more accurate search engine and honestly many of their silk flowers and garlands are higher quality anyway. For certain items HL is great if a bit expensive. For those of us online shoppers, who want to conserve time , not so much. read more

Mood - Jewelry Repair Upon entering this store it is visually well put together. All of the shelves carefully lined with items of either the same color group or category. We needed a thin tire wire to repair crystal bracelets and eventually my necklace. There are so many different types of wire this store offers. I was very thankful we found the exact one that will work perfectly. Interior is very clean. Shelves and isles stocked. Staff was visibly present should you have questions.
