There was a group of about 8 people here celebrating a birthday and a couple next to us also on a date night. Jason, Lucas & Tiffany were great at demonstrating, explaining and answering the bazillion questions we had - ha! Succulents just don't survive in our home so it was nice to experience this! We learned so much! The price was reasonable for a date night and drinks and snacks are also available to purchase. All supplies are provided for each participant to paint one small terra cotta pot, 2-3 mini succulents and soil This family owned business is beautifully decorated with mid century modern vibes and will give you TONS of ideas on how to include plants in your home I highly recommend this business and look forward to returning again soon!

All the staff were so friendly, funny, and genuinely helpful. The staff member who led the event walked us through choosing our plants based on lighting and where we planned to put them. We got clear and thorough care instructions (which I definitely needed because I usually accidentally kill my plants ). They even offer house calls & virtual help if you're struggling with your plants, which is amazing. I could've saved many a plant had I known about this spot, lol. Anyway, the shop has beautiful plants, cute accessories, and I love how the event space was decorated. There was plenty of seating & they host workshops regularly. There were cocktails, mocktails, water, and snacks available for purchase. Overall, it was such a positive & uplifting experience. I loved getting my hands dirty & creating something myself. I highly recommend browsing the shop or attending an event!

Meet me in Tokyo!…read more Tokyo is a beautiful city, it is relatively small but compared to other cultures has brought so much innovation to the world just based on their art, values, and culture. As Americans we are a world away from this island. But a little piece of Tokyo can be found here in these stores. Learning is a skill that one should never forget. Come in and see what you can learn about yourself from the experience you have in this store. Many of these stores share their products from Tokyo for you to try out. Let's not be so closed minded. The products that they sell come from Japan. The range of products they carry is amazing. They have aisle after aisle of food, beauty, home, toys, and many other products that you have to see to understand. Expand your knowledge and horizons by seeing how you can see how other people live through their own eyes. Live through their experiences. Like most Americans of this great nation, we are a melting pot of history. "I have a dream," that dream is to have everyone feel included and inclusive. A dream where our ideas can mesh together and create something unique and meaningful. Walk among the aisles and try something that an individual human being uses but with a different perspective or packaging. Eat something that is unique and not customary to your diet. You might be surprised and discover something new about another culture and their perspective of the world. See you just learned something new. Knowledge is power. Knowing how the world works makes us better understanding to those around us. Whenever we shop here we sample the beauty products from Japan. They offer so many options to choose from. While I cannot understand or speak Japanese the products they sell are of the highest quality . Who does not love the rich colors they use in their inspiring art they create. The dragon that products the home from evil spirits. The lucky cat that can bring prosperity to you and your family. Believing is what starts the process.

Don't forget to scan your card. It always looks different. It's usually 5000 steps easily here.

IKEA used to be a go-to destination - busy, well-organized, and genuinely fun to browse. Lately,…read morethough, it feels like a shadow of its former self. The showroom feels noticeably empty, both in terms of foot traffic and staff presence. Though the upstairs display walk through areas look decent and recently rearranged/changed, it still feels empty. Where there used to be employees readily available on the floor, you're lucky to spot a few in certain areas. If you're coming in to return or exchange an item, you may casually stand around for a bit until staff comes from the back to tend to that area. Displays of merchandise feel like an afterthought compared to how carefully curated things once were i.e.: a cart full of items vs them being displayed and organized. The biggest disappointment? The cafe downstairs.. I've visited a few times recently and it's been closed or non-operational each time with kiosks showing an error screen or "CLOSED". It used to be a highlight of the whole trip - I'd always look forward to grabbing a little meatball sundae on the way and making an afternoon of it. Instead, I now find myself in a long long line waiting for one of four self-checkout stations to open up.. (the previously staffed registers are no longer a thing and other self-checkout lines are blocked off)..only to look over and see the cafe kiosk dark and unattended. It really takes the joy out of the visit. That said, there are still some redeeming qualities. The as-is section remains a solid find for deals, and apparently you can now shop it online - a nice touch. The space also has free WiFi, so if you're looking for a low-key study spot and the restaurant upstairs happens to be open, it could work for that. Overall, it feels like IKEA is operating with reduced resources, and it shows. I don't follow there business much so I'm not sure if they're struggling but hoping things turn around not only for the customers but for the staff too!

I'm talking about "Threads of Tyranny" (or whatever they call themselves). First off, getting in was harder than getting a toddler to eat their vegetables. I swear, they had a velvet rope, a bouncer who looked like he wrestled bears in his spare time, and a questionnaire that asked for my blood type, social security number, and the thread count of my dreams. Apparently, only "industry owners" are worthy of their hallowed halls. I'm pretty sure my grandma, who sews better than most fashion designers, wouldn't have made the cut. Once I finally breached the inner sanctum, I was greeted by prices so high, they could make a billionaire weep. I saw a scrap of lace that was priced like it was woven from unicorn hair and spun by angels. I'm pretty sure I could buy a small island for the cost of their "sale" bin. And the staff? Oh, the staff. They looked like they were auditioning for a remake of "The Stepford Wives," but instead of being robots, they were just...snobby. Asking for help was like pulling teeth from a grumpy badger. I inquired about the difference between two types of cotton, and they looked at me like I'd just asked them to explain quantum physics in Klingon. Honestly, I'm surprised this place hasn't been swallowed by a black hole of pretentiousness. I give them a solid two years, tops, before they're replaced by a discount mattress store or a laser tag arena. Mark my words. If you want fabric that costs more than your rent and service that makes you want to scream into a pillow, "Threads of Tyranny" is your place. If you value your sanity and your wallet, run. Run far, far away.
