Hey Vivian, I bought four Minnie Mouse balloons and a big "3" balloon from you yesterday and picked them up today with my daughter for you to fill with helium... can you please give me a call or text? We loved the service we received in-store from you but the balloons are already deflating and we just picked them up from you about 40 minutes ago. read more

A1 Dollar Store - Discount Store Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Place is located on Spring Mountain and Durango Roads. Place is huge with different stuff like cards, toys, beauty products, food, kitchen items, and miscellaneous items. Met the owner Vivian, from Nigeria. She was very friendly and helpful. With the closing of 99-Cent stores and some similar businesses, it would be nice to support small, privately-owned businesses. Hopefully you try it out. Thank you. read more

A1 Dollar Store - Discount Store Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Shopping in Las Vegas, Nevada... We saw a sign near our lunch restaurant, so we stopped by... A1 Dollar Store had an interesting variety of merchandise. It's not like a Dollar Tree, but maybe more like a place for overstocked items? The prices weren't really fabulous, so none of us got anything. I was going to get a San Francisco 49ers kit, but it's for use in the snow. LOL! The female worker was friendly and welcoming! read more

Do not book UHauls with Vivian! She was 45 minutes late from my pick up time. I called her at the time of pickup and she said she had a flat tire but that she had just gotten it fixed at discount tire and was on her way, eta 15 minutes. I was upset but said fine and told her if she could call me when she arrives as I live very near the store and it takes me a minute to get there. 30 minutes pass, I call her and she doesn't answer me. I go to the store and she is there with a couple and she makes me wait as she shows them to their uhaul. She comes back and asks how I am and I'm dad and I told her we were passed. We have a small party decorating business and we needed the UHual to transport the decorations and were now running late. She juat kept saying she was sorry but that it was not her fault and that we could have done self service. I told her she never said I could do self service. Not once when we first booked or when she was running late did she ever mention self service. The trucks have a chain with a lock, I did not know the code. Im upset and I tell her why she never mentioned that when she knew I needed the truck. She says she thought i knew. She then tells me to go close the door SHE left open, my dad immediately tells her no that we do not work for her and that we would just like the truck if she could just finish the check out. She then gets upset and says we are being mean and that she can easily transfer us to another location. I tell her we are mad because she was late and did not offer any solutions in the moment and now is not giving us the keys only complaining that it wasnt her fault. My dad and I are just tired of arguing and are telling her to just give us the keys . She then calls Uhual and transfers us to a new location without telling us where we were now supposed to pick it up. So she wasted 1.5 hours of our time when she could have just been professional and been on time or given us the option to do self check out. Instead she juat kept complaining about us being rightfully upset and trying to order us around. read more

A1 Dollar Store - Discount Store Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Obviously people can't read! It says $3 and less in this store. Just Cause it's called the A1 Dollar store doesn't mean its all a dollar. I was on this side of town for a doctors appointment, I always go to the Dunkin' Donuts in this parking lot. I noticed a new store in place of the dollar store that previously was there. I love stores like that, so I decided to stop in before leaving back home. Vivian who owns the store was super friendly! She was fun to talk to, great energy you just feel welcomed when walking in. She was like that with every customer! The store is filled with unique different things like everything you need from, tools to snacks. Great prices :) I got a few things! And she gave me a free calendar at check out. Go check it out, won't be disappointed read more

I just went here with my mother and the person working there, which i presume is the owner, is very nice and very talkative, and for the items theres a pretty good variety there of toys, make up, sunglasses, snacks, keychains, and etc. Not to mention the price is really good for the items as the items are 3 dollars or lower, there is very good value and i recommend this place. read more

The best service in Vegas. Ms. Vivian is a very kind lady and treats everyone like family. I will continue to shop at A1 Dollar Store.

Had some time to roam around before an appointment and was glad I did. This family owned store lifted my spirit up they had some pretty cool and unique stuff to choose from. I was mainly amused by the cosmetic section in the front which then led to having a productive conversation with the two gals working that day. They were very cheerful and informative talking about the store as well as Vegas in general. Super helpful recommending places for us and just a nice environment for some nice conversations. Not what I expected at all going to a convenient store! Would definitely be back if I want to have a good day! read more
