We had the BEST Date Night here! I found this through a Facebook ad for a Succ & Sip Event. There were about 20 people here tonight. There was a group of about 8 people here celebrating a birthday and a couple next to us also on a date night. Jason, Lucas & Tiffany were great at demonstrating, explaining and answering the bazillion questions we had - ha! Succulents just don't survive in our home so it was nice to experience this! We learned so much! The price was reasonable for a date night and drinks and snacks are also available to purchase. All supplies are provided for each participant to paint one small terra cotta pot, 2-3 mini succulents and soil This family owned business is beautifully decorated with mid century modern vibes and will give you TONS of ideas on how to include plants in your home I highly recommend this business and look forward to returning again soon! read more

I had such a good time here. It's an adorable plant nursery with great vibes. We attended their "Succ & Sip" workshop & got to create our own succulent gardens while listening to good music & mingling with others in the community. All the staff were so friendly, funny, and genuinely helpful. The staff member who led the event walked us through choosing our plants based on lighting and where we planned to put them. We got clear and thorough care instructions (which I definitely needed because I usually accidentally kill my plants ). They even offer house calls & virtual help if you're struggling with your plants, which is amazing. I could've saved many a plant had I known about this spot, lol. Anyway, the shop has beautiful plants, cute accessories, and I love how the event space was decorated. There was plenty of seating & they host workshops regularly. There were cocktails, mocktails, water, and snacks available for purchase. Overall, it was such a positive & uplifting experience. I loved getting my hands dirty & creating something myself. What a lovely gem of a place! I came upon Rooting For You because of Michelle Green's Visions Board Event... Rooting for You was a PERFECT sanctuary for the inner work of envisioning my upcoming new year to come-- full of beautiful plants, a warm and inviting atmosphere with everything an event could need from sound and screen equipment to a variety of tables and seating options. We are so lucky to have a place like Rooting for You in our city-- not only as a place to learn about plants, but as a location rife with opportunities for connection-- not only events, but they also offer classes and function as a "Starbucks-- but for plants!" offering a selection of cold beverages (if you want coffee or tea, there is a coffee shop next door). Owned by a couple (He, from Staten Island, She from Argentina) the inspiration they bring hails from the Amazon, with leafy greens in every direction. I asked Tiffanne, the eager and committed manager who helped run the tech and hospitality side of the event I attended what her favorite plant was and she pointed out the popular "rat tail cactus"-- which was definitely a cactus I had never seen before... and lives up to it's name! For those who head over to Trader Joe's in Summerlin, Rooting For You is about a block or two away, and a great place to meet up with a friend and take in the vibe! One tiny but literal "heads up" to the owners/ management: The cabinet to the right of the door when you walk into the bathroom is a HUGE liability-- I ALMOST walked into it, and another woman who attended the event was injured on her head from bumping into it. It is painted a dark color, and with the bathroom light off, it is easy to walk into it before one has found a light to turn on. Seen them promoting community events on instagram so I stopped by for their open mic night and was amazed. The vibes were very fresh and welcoming as soon as you step in! They had snacks, beer, wine, and non alcoholic beverages available for the event and the decor/ seating was very comfortable. Along with the local talent that absolutely killing it the whole night, from singers & rappers to poets and spoken word artists it was inspiring! I'll definitely be back for more events. read more

Rooting For You was the perfect place for my bay shower event. The plants made it easy for decorating and blending in the extra things I brought in to make the event fun, memorable and convenient. Our host Tiffany and Jason were always available and extremely helpful when needed. We included the photo stand which made the event memorable with beautiful photos. The mimosas were perfect for our brunch theme baby shower. Our guest were very impressed with the venue and look forward to attending some up coming events at Rooting for You. HOLY PLANT HEAVEN! This place is AWESOME. Plant people - take the drive to visit this oasis. I walked in with no expectations and walked out totally in love and with some new plant gems. I still have yet to discover all they offer here but I am very excited to come back and get to know more about this cool shop. THE VIBE IS RIGHT!!! It's almost like you have escaped the actual world and you are now just among your plant family! I was amazed at how great all the plants looked and asked about what they used to make them sparkle and shine. They showed me a few products, The Urban Gardner Super Growth Elixir is insane. I personally have AT LEAST 80 indoor plants. I sprayed all of my plants with this magical potion and THEY HAVE NEVER LOOKED BETTER. Seriously - it's $20, BUY IT. If you don't get stuck with all the wonders in the front of the shop, keep exploring - there are little rooms where you can sit and chat or just vibe out and listen to GREAT jams. Such a beautiful store! This shop is perfectly curated from the various houseplants. There are propagated cuttings for customers to choose from as well. I really loved the variety of braided trees on the left hand side of the wall when you walk in. They have a bunch of lovely merchandise to choose from. I had a coworker rave about this place for weeks, so I finally made it out for a visit. I was a little hesitant because I was expecting an over hyped new store. I was in awe when I walked in. It's such a cute place! The details in the store is amazing and you can tell the owners take pride and love in what they offer and present to us. It was also a plus that the gentleman behind the counter greeted me and 'welcomed' me in! The plant selection was nice. They had a little bit of everything. There were cute pottery sprinkled around the store too. I would have stayed here longer, but I had my (grown) impatient kids with me. Price point here is GREAT! The plants are a plenty - they've also got the cutest plant pots (think stuff you can typically only find on Etsy, not usually available in Vegas), plant themed plushies, jewelry, and more! My 6 year old and I went in with the intention of purchasing one new plan for each of us. We left with 4 new plants, 5 new pots, and a love for this store! Jenna was amazing. She was so helpful and informative. We talked about what would work well with the lighting in my home, what would be safe for my cats, and what I was unlikely to kill . She was SO patient as well with my 6 year old. She even allowed her to observe as Jenna repotted our plants and explained step by step what she was doing, why, and what my daughter should look out for as she takes cares care of her plant at home. Spring time is the right time to open a new plant shop. Open for just a week, I stopped by Rooting For You (love the name) this morning and what a beautiful space. Filled with lovely plants of all shapes, sizes, and price points, the store will wow you with its design. If you know monsteras, you will immediately notice the Albo and Thai Constellations in the store, two of the hottest varieties of monsteras. I didn't buy one as they're way too expensive for me, but if you're in the market for one, they have them! Not to fret if you don't want to spend a lot, though; there are more inexpensive plants to choose from, as well as terrific pots and vases. I went in looking for a gift card, but those aren't offered as of yet (the store just opened, remember?). I did, however, leave with an Alocasia Sting Ray that caught my eye as well as a cute pot in which to put it. Many thanks to staff member Jenna for taking the time to assist me in picking out the gifts AND looking up care tips for the new plant AND writing them on a card to give to the recipient. I've been to many plant shops in town and this is my favorite. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Full of plants for casual owners who just want something simple to connoisseurs who are looking for variegated everything. Best of all.. the prices are actually quite reasonable and the most importantly the plants are HEALTHY. I've seen too many high price tags on half dead crispy rare plants (not here but elsewhere).
