The two ladies working were nice. One stood at the checkout counter while the other one assisted me. She was very outgoing and helped me find some bottoms to try on- yes the fitting rooms are open. I looked at both sides, regular and petites. The jeans did not fit me. The shorts were way too big for me. I tried on four pieces. Oh well. I'll have to check the other outlet center for the Loft store. The store is very clean. The racks are stocked well, but not smashed in, to where you cannot comfortably check the inventory out. That is one of my pet-peeves, when a store tries to stock everything on the floor. It is a large store. Everything is spaced out very well too. Kudos to the brand for keeping the birthday reward for their members.

The prices here are probably the most expensive of all the outlet stores I have ever visited in NV and CA. The staff here are also quite unhelpful. During my recent visit, the person manning the dressing room really gave everyone an attitude. The only person that was nice and helpful was the store manager, and she was working the checkout line that day. She smiled and asked how we were doing. Something small like that really makes a difference.

The store opens an hour early for customers with the Marshalls/TJ Maxx credit card. We also get a free gift (today, it was a white canvas tote bag with fuschia handles). Yesterday's gift was the same tote bag with green handles! It's roomy, washable, and useful! We also got a chance to enter the drawing for a gift card... guess who won??? My sister! Yay! I was so happy for her! I found a lot of cute Hello Kitty merchandise. Too bad my luggage is full already!!!

There was a 50% off promotion on activewear sweatpants, which was a big reason we browsed that section. The sweats were super soft and comfortable, but when I checked out, the discount did not reflect on the receipt, so definitely make sure to double check pricing before paying. While I wish there had been more variety and clearer pricing at checkout, the store had some good deals and we eventually found what we needed. Just be prepared to spend time if you're shopping for kids in that awkward growth phase and always confirm discounts before you leave the register.

It was fairly empty. Meadows Mall is located in Las Vegas, off of the 95/Valley View exit. There are plenty of parking spots available. We entered Meadows Mall through Macy's, on the second level. Hot Topic is located fairly close to the Macy's, on the second level. It's been a while since I've stopped inside a Hot Topic. I think the last time I was inside Hot Topic was at the Galleria Mall location in Las Vegas. I ended up getting a Dragon Ball Z themed workout outfit. This Hot Topic location was fully packed with a wide variety of apparel. I was in awe at how much anime themed clothing there was! I saw a lot of Jujitsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Naruto, Sailor Moon, and One Piece. There also was a lot of Hello Kitty merchandise. There was purses, backpacks, jewelry, clothing, and so much more! I even saw a cross-over shirt that was Hello Kitty and Attack on Titan themed! While I was looking at the Studio Ghibli themed memorabilia, my son was looking at necklaces for his girlfriend. I ended up purchasing a My Neighbor Totoro purse. It's super cute! We had so much fun shopping inside Hot Topic! It's changed a lot from when I used to shop inside Hot Topic. Back when I was a teenager, I remember Hot Topic used to sell lots of Lava Lamps! Prices weren't too bad. There was a semi-annual sale on going!

Altar'd State in Downtown Summerlin is a gorgeous store and a completely unexpected find for me. I…read morehad seen it before in Denver but didn't have time to go in. This time I finally did, actually tried things on, and was surprised by how much worked. The store is light, bright, ultra feminine, and leans modest with soft fabrics and thoughtful details. It definitely skews younger, probably teens into early twenties, but that doesn't mean you can't find pieces that work if you know how to edit. I'm not typically a frilly girl, but I still found items that made me look fresher and more put together instead of older. It feels like a more approachable version of LoveShackFancy, without that moment where you look at the price tag and immediately put everything back. And that's refreshing. What's frustrating is how many department stores and women's brands seem to design for a much older customer. You walk in and everything feels like it's trying to age you before your time. Even brands like Veronica Beard, and sometimes Zimmermann, can add years instead of taking them away. Altar'd State does the opposite. The pieces feel light, easy, and uplifting. There's a sense of joy in the clothing that's hard to find right now. I want to bring my 82-year-old mother here so she can find clothing that adds joy to her life and doesn't age her.

Two weeks ago I made a purchase, an supposedly got all my discounts. When I came home, and checked my online order that I had prepared, but did not process. The three items I bought came to being $20.00 cheaper. Therefore, I returned the items I bought in store, and on line through the store, and processed my own on line order. Yesterday, I went to this LB, and bought approximately 12 items, 7, in store, and 5 on line. I asked the salesperson if I would get the same discounts as I saw on line, and I showed her the order on line with same items, and she said not only do they offer online savings, but I will get additional in-store savings. Two items were non-refundable, but she told me because customers order on line with them in store, and items cannot be tried on, they would not refund, but would offer n in store credit. Therefore, I agreed to do everything in store. The total for inshore and on line through store came to $412, and did not include a brown Henley I wanted. When I came home, and I was going to delete the online order before I processed, I looked and for the same items including the extra Henley came to $332. That is a savings of $80 cheaper, with an additional item. I processed the order, and plan on returning everything I bought in store or ordered on line through store, but I would like refund on the non-refundable items, since I bought them on line myself, and they were sold to me under false circumstances.
