This is a great place for a tasty burger, fries and shake! As transplants from SoCal, we miss In-N-Out. However, the burgers here are well prepared, juicy and filling. You can customize your burger with plenty of garnishes. The signs there say they use local beef. You can definitely taste the difference. They give you plenty of fries and you can opt for sweet potato fries, which are quite tasty. The strawberry shake I ordered was delicious and contained chunks of strawberries. I was so intrigued by this burger joint because they have local, grass-fed meat. I drove passed it quite a few times before finally giving in and just going. But before I start my review, I would like to say I gave them a 4 because I couldn't do a 3.5... At this restaurant you can choose to drive up and eat in your car. It reminds me of a Sonic. For service you don't press a button or honk. Instead you have to turn on your lights, which is cool, but different. I went with what I thought would be safe and got the original "Burger Master." It was a single patty with the normal fixings. Although it did mention that there was relish on the burger so I asked for it without. I didn't think it would be more of a sauce then just plain relish, so my burger came out dry. Which kind of sucked because I felt bad asking the person who ran out to my car for ketchup. The fries were soggy. So that was a bummer. And I wanted to add that the kids meals were pretty pricey as well. But I enjoyed the burger. Usually we have Great friendly service here and we've always enjoyed the burgers. Kudos to the night crew. But today -lunch- we pulled in and waited for a sever to come out to our car. There were servers washing windows, servers waiting for orders, servers walking past the windows and smiling but no servers helping us or the other two cars who pulled is as we did. 10 minutes went by we left as did the other two cars full of potential customers. I wouldn't mind waiting if the business was busy but they weren't. We will go back in the evening but go elsewhere for lunch. read more

Not sure if no service counts as bad service. Was one of three cars in the open parking/pull to service. Could see two employees inside just chatting while others waited. You guys make some great burgers and I love the fact you use locally sourced grass fed beef but the one thing I was quite surprised about was the use of styrofoam cups. I would love to see these phased out. That would make all the difference in an already great fast meal. read more

So many great reviews of this place. I disagree with them all. This place was just so so, wasn't good at all. Had the bacon burger with the works. Tartar sauce was horrible, the French fries bland, the burger, dry and tasteless. Also had a hot fudge sundae, which was a small scoop of ice cream and a side of hot fudge which was just as much as the ice cream. Did not have a good experience what so ever. They have tightened up alot since opening. Much better service and hamburgers that aren't complete messes. No mistakes and the food is well priced for what you get. So far my favorite is the regular burgermaster with fries and a coke (baconmaster is a close second). One thing I recommend is making sure you like onions if you get them on your burger. They don't separate individual pieces, you get an entire cross section. I also like the BLT and fish and chips. Fast initial service and also when you are done they are there to pick up the mess soon after you turn on the lights. read more

I've eaten here several times. The food is unremarkable, thought not bad by any stretch. They offer (and heavily advertise) electric car charging. I stopped by after hours on Christmas Eve, around 3:00pm to charge with the intent of buying a burger. The local fast charger was broken and I was left with relatively limited places to charge while faced with a long trip. There was no signage to indicate that charging after hours was forbidden, and there were several other vehicles parked in the parking lot. I plugged in, a little disappointed that they were closed as I would have loved to get a burger. My companion and I got out of the car and began to walk away to visit some of the other local businesses while our car charged. As we walked away, we were rudely accosted by a Burgermaster employee who told us that we could not charge after hours. I asked why, and she informed me that it was because I hadn't purchased anything. I told her I would have bought something if they were open, and she was very rude. I won't be back, to charge or eat. I have no problem following the rules (even when I find them petty and greedy), but in a world where I can get a comparable burger at any number of other friendlier establishments, I'll have to pass on Burgermaster. read more

Burger bun was soggy and they had the lettuce all over the place. Never been here before but they expect you to tip them when they walk from the building approx 25 yards to take you order and then bring it back. I didn't know it at the time but I googled it and yes they expect a tip. The lady I got was obviously pissed that I didn't huck her the rest of my change as I could see her chatting it up with the younger fella inside, then he ends up brining my cheeseburger instead of her. I give him the tip he walks inside and hands it to her. Tips are given for a skill like waiters who need skill to take orders and add. Not walking out with a bag of food. Never coming here again. The double bacon Burgermaster sandwich reminded me of Five Guys but with higher quality beef; the fries were similar to In-N-Out's but somewhat better. I've had the burger master and the bacon master and now have had the candy cane shake which is not advertised on the menu and is superb in mine and my five year olds opinion and the reason I'm giving it five stars is because I'm not going to compare it to another place because how would that be a fair assessment of this establishment. As a long time regular of the Everett Burger Master, I hate to leave a poor review, but the Mount Vernon store just didn't get it right. I completely get the convenience and the novelty of drive-in dining, but the complete lack of inside dining was a total disappointment. Feeding a kid in the car, maybe... Feeding three kids in the car is a disaster waiting to happened. In all fairness, they did provide about 5 bar seats inside, but those are mostly for take-out customers waiting for their order. I like hot food. Hanging my food off my window in the middle of winter is not an option. I also witnessed one customer's fries that had spilled on the ground. The curvature of the newer vehicle window didn't allow the tray to sit flat, and the slightest bump or breeze sent everything overboard. The prices have always a been a little high, which I was willing to overlook for the Everett store, but when the Mount Vernon store charged for condiments and drink refills, Game OVER. read more

This place is good. It has local beef, it seems like a mom and popshop, it appears like they care about their quality, old school service and their nostalgic feel. I've had their burgers and they remind me of an ' in N out ' burger. They are a little pricey, but you get what you paid for. My husband and I stopped here to eat a burger on a Saturday night. We we were both hungry so we decided to stop because it was across from Walmart. My husband has been ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the bacon master and agreed to share. We were astonished at the taste and quality of the burger and the hand battered fish. We sat in the truck listening to their overhead music; Johnny Angel, Elvis songs and a lot of other hits from the 50s forward as we dived into our dinner. I expected an experience similar to a sonic burger and was pleasantly surprised that it was much much better than that. Between the music and a tasty hamburger it was almost like being at one of the old lunch counters in the late 60s and 70s. I was pleased to find out that the produce they used on the burger was extremely fresh and crispy. We both thought the food was delicious and a bargain at the price. The milkshakes and fries were also delicious. If you have any in here yet stop in for a burger. You won't regret it. read more

Normally I love this burger place as a go to for a burger and fry fix. Today was as usual as far as food quality and quantity and even speed of the order coming out. Overall I was very satisfied in that regard. The one issue I had today, was not the server who took my order. She was quick, friendly, and accurate. The other server girl that brought the food was fine at first and seemed nice enough. But when it was time to pay I put my lights on like you normally would to get service so she would take my credit card and she even made a signal that she would be right over and I waited for her to tend to at least 4 or 5 other customers right in front of me, some even having just pulled up right then like I wasnt a priority whatsoever and I just wanted to get my bill paid and get on the road. She didn't even get to me, I physically took my tray in and my bill to the server that had taken my order and she was cool and apologized and was fast about getting me on my way. I will always go back to burgermaster wherever I see them, even this one again (this being my second time there) if I have a craving, but that being said it left a slightly sour taste in my mouth as far as the experience. I will call it a fluke and move on and enjoy their burgers again, I will also remember that day as well unfortunately. Not a huge deal in the end, but a slight disappointment is all. First time trying this place. Really impressed. Had the mushroom burger with fried onions and jalapeños and the usual toppings and it was really tasty and filling. For a side had the onion rings. Are we glad we found this place! Stopped in for a burger at 8 PM on a Saturday, and had one of the most delicious hamburgers that I have had in a while. they are clearly paying very close attention even to small details like the temperature of the grill, because the burger had just the right amount of grilled taste; it reminded us of old-time burgers at lunch counters. So... I had the worst service, followed by the worst food. I gave it one star only because that was as low as it could go. When you pull in you turn on your lights so they know your ready to order. We did and waited there was an empty stall next to us when we pulled in needless to say the car who came after us was help before us.So we order, I got a bacon burger,fries,& a shake, my son got a hotdog sandwich.the hubby got fish an chips. My burger was to have everything on it.when I got it. It was missing the pickle, onion and had only a few strings of lettuce so I asked the attendant to bring me the missing goods She went in and brought back a foam container with the onion an pickles. Still no lettuce. So I flagged her down for a second time to get the lettuce. By the time i got the lettuce my family was done, my burger was cold & my bun was soggy. Oh yeah my son"s hotdogs were supposed to be Fried , nope! And his bun grilled...nope. So you think the waitress would have compted. The burger nope. Ill NEVER GO BACK. read more

I've been here 3 times since it opened, each time months apart and each time remembering why I didn't go back right away. Overpriced, mediocre food. Burgers are messy and poorly put together. Fries look like McDonalds fries. I tried the fish and chips once and paid alot for them. I could get MUCH better at Denny's for about the same price. They were skinny, overcooked and tough. Not what I expected compared to what they advertise. AND they kicker is they ask if you want condiments, how many and then CHARGE YOU for basic condiments (ketsup, tarter sauce) without telling you. I was super excited when I heard burger master was coming only because everyone talk so highly about it. We have been here a few times, I don't really see the difference between burger master and Burger King except that the fries are way better. I think it's average I thought it was good but nothing that I would be dying to come back for. It is pretty cool though how you just pull up and you get to sit in your car and eat though, but it also sucks when there are tons of people and they are very busy and you cannot park anywhere, and the inside of this place is so tiny it can barely fit five people to make a line to order at. read more

After making that mistake which is my fault for not sating it too. My bf went up to clarifying that i want grilled and extra toppings. We get our order and it was completely wrong. My chickenmaster is fried with no toppings that i asked for. My bf order the baconmaster and insteaded got the cheeseburger with the extra charge of bacon on it.
