I've even emailed letting them know that the gluten free items are not what they used to be. I decided to give them another try today and stopped in for one pink frosted sugar cookie. I was shocked when I was told it was $7. That already felt very overpriced, but then when I received it, the cookie was frozen. For that price, I expected a fresh, quality item -- not something frozen, especially after having previous concerns about their baked goods. Unfortunately, this was the final straw for me. I won't be back.

Burger Master in Mount Vernon was absolutely amazing! As someone with celiac disease, finding a place that offers gluten free buns and takes gluten-free needs seriously is a huge deal. Not only did I feel safe eating here, but the food was incredible. The burger was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the gluten free bun was one of the best I've had. It's rare to find a restaurant that delivers both great taste and celiac friendly options, but Burger Master did exactly that. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Easily a 10/10. read more

Hal's always had a larger burger patty, and a larger than normal high quality burger bun, this has changed, the entire Deluxe Cheeseburger has shrunk, the taste is much saltier, the buns are smaller and cheaper, and the burger patty is smaller as well, and of course prices have gone up, which I can't knock them for. We received our order in pretty good time despite the last minute rush before closing. I was a bit ambitious and only took a few hungry bites from my double cheeseburger and a few spoonfuls of my large chocolate/vanilla swirl soft serve. The remainder kept well in the ice chest and was polished off the next day after a brief nuke. The soft serve was frozen overnight and tasted great also the next day.
