My boyfriend and I decided to go here instead of Whidbey coffee to give it a try. We arrived 10…read moreminutes before closing so when the barista Alexis told us she already cleaned the espresso machine I wasn't surprised. What I wasn't expecting was the attitude that came with the service. She was very clearly upset that we arrived at the time we did but I don't think that warrants that treatment when we arrived with nothing but understanding and respect. Continuing on, we ordered Lotus drinks instead but as our interaction continued she constantly sighed, rolled her eyes, and told me to speak up several times when I was damn near yelling already. The treatment we received was completely unacceptable and respectfully we will not be returning but I hope Alexis learns something from this interaction. I as well used to work at a small owned coffee shop and let me just add that the owner never allowed me to clean the espresso machine before closing. The coffee shop closes at 7pm not 6:50pm. The only place that it makes sense is at restaurants. But regardless, go to Whidbey coffee instead !!

When we visited, there was actually no menu and the…read morebarista mentions he can make any drink for the most part, so we opted for a hemp milk orange latte which was pretty decent. I don't see hemp milk much in other coffee shops so this stood out. There's zero latte art and it's just a regular white paper cup so I didn't bother taking a picture of the drink itself. The cafe itself is pretty interesting, with a whole variety of license plates, pastry case, and other CBD products, and there are lots of seating. The downside for being "bespoke" is that there is no menu. $7+ for a 16oz latte is a bit steep and we don't know the breakdown of prices, so if anything, even if there's no menu, a general price guideline would be much appreciated.

The welcome was warm, the wit was quick, and somehow they make everyone driving through feel special. I brought a marshmallow latte home to my 80-year-old aunt, and apparently I'm now the favorite. She loved it! Fantastic coffee, wonderful people, and plenty of personality. This is exactly why we love supporting local.

This was by far the best coffee we had during our entire vacation. We were on vacation and needed…read moresomething to pass the time while we were doing laundry across the street, so we headed up to this cute place for a mid-afternoon kaffeeklatsch. The baristas are really good and were able to make all of our orders, including a *perfect* ristretto for my husband. They're also super friendly and more than willing to make sure that you are happy with your food and drinks. It's primarily a drive-through coffee shop, which seems to be the norm around this part of the country (and thus a novelty to this South Floridian), but they are adequately equipped to handle the casual coffee drinker on foot with ceramic mugs and plates. Sure, it's not a Starbucks interior, but the coffee is well worth the lack of high end design. As with any dining, drinking or drive-through establishment, knowing what you want to order when you get to the point where you actually *can* order is par for the course. Lindsey and her mother-in-law obviously haven't learned this rule yet and thus should stick to the chain coffee places. :D

We arrived in line at 11:05 and there was one car in front of us sitting at the window. For 15 MINUTES the worker and the person in the car were chatting, meanwhile there is a line of cars behind us piling up. The worker even makes eye contact with us and sees the line. At this point we are realizing we are cutting it close to the ferry but we were trapped in line. At 11:20, the car drives forward DIDN'T EVEN ORDER ANYTHING, so the worker and the driver had just been chatting for 15 min for fun. We had hoped that was where the frustration ended because we were trying to give grace to the situation. Unfortunately that was not the case. We ordered our 2 coffees, bagel, and breakfast sandwich. The worker proceeded to make things at a turtles pace, stopping to talk about work drama with the other worker and another customer. It took her over 12 min to get most of our stuff to us. We were just waiting on the bagel when she comes up and says I'm sorry am I forgetting something? So we had to wait for her to make that and we had to pay for the bagel separately because she forgot to even charge us. And guess what!! She made the wrong bagel. I've never been the type to write reviews about places but I genuinely was speechless about our experience. We arrived at Angler's coffee at 11:05, as the second car in line, and we left at 11:35. 30 min is absolutely ridiculous for a drive thru and being the 2nd car in the line. The worker was completely oblivious of other people's time. Oh and we missed our ferry :)

Thankfully right across the parking lot is this little drive-thru coffee stand that absolutely came through for us. It's tucked into what looks like a trucker rest area, but don't be fooled this spot serves up seriously good specialty coffee. The baristas were always cheerful, helpful, and consistently nailed my almond milk vanilla latte. They also dished out free puppuccinos to our dogs every time. Total win! Their menu is way more expansive than you'd expect, with tons of espresso-based drinks, non-caffeinated options, and even CBD add-ons. (We were tempted, but they were out of the energizing kind and we didn't want to fall asleep in a tulip field, so we skipped it.) Pro tip: avoid the slushy bubble tea way too syrupy but definitely say yes to anything involving coffee. We noticed they also serve breakfast burritos and other quick bites, which smelled amazing, but sadly we didn't get a chance to try them. Next time for sure! If you're in the area and need a reliable, tasty latte (or just want to treat your pups), this is your go-to.
